Midnight Sleeper Train Adventure to Tokyo for Tokyo Olympic Games Ep.295

now feels much better today i'm heading to tokyo by overnight train from osaka it's my first time to use overnight training so i'm so excited to use it there are no food stores in the overnight train so i'm heading to kombini now oh seems like 7 11 is already closed in the osaka station it's almost midnight so make sense let me find some other convenience store so let's go out from the station oops seems like my ticket cannot go out i had to pay 180 japanese yen to get out from the station but i need to go to convenience store to get food and drink so let's go out osaka station is a big station there is another 7-eleven in the first floor too most of convenience stores opens 24 7 in japan except inside the session one so this one should be open oh this salad chicken looks good and i want to buy onigiri rice bowl this all rice rice ball looks good oh look at this my first time to see that wasabi onigiri let's try this and i wanna buy beer i wanna get green tea too this oil ocha looks good in any company in japan i can pay by apple watch well i've never walked this kind of quiet osaka station hey guys welcome to rain tv i'm ryan so just wanted to make a greeting let's keep working this is the main square of osaka station during the daytime many people are walking here it's almost midnight we still have 30 minutes before leaving the train so let me take a photo here sweet i could take really cool photo now let's go back to the station speaking of the night hotel train ticket price the ticket price was 18 470 japanese yen from osaka to tokyo and it takes around 7 hours but i have my own room in the train compared to shinkansen shinkansen ticket is 13870 japanese yen from osaka to tokyo and it takes only 3.5 hours yes shinkansen is cheaper and faster so maybe it's not really practical way to use overnight train now but it sounds really fun so why not also i have used a local train when i go back to osaka from tokyo last time and i saved a lot of money so it's all good seems like several people are waiting for the train still we have 20 minutes until the departure so let's wait by the way the train i take is the last train so there are no customers in the station except here wow cool it's much weirder than regular training so now first let's go to find my room and i will give you guys the tour by the way this is not my room but this is what the one bedroom for two people looks like seems small but looks cozy and this is a room for one person which is 1000 japanese yen expensive than mine and the next area it's not the private room the cheapest seat and now i'm in car 10 my place is in car 3 so still i have long way to go but don't worry it's just over there so let's keep walking that's what i thought but actually it was really tiring with heavy luggage oh my goodness it's still aged if you have a heavy luggage you have to carry up and carry down a lot anyway let's keep walking inside the train the aisles are really narrow with many stairs so if you have carry luggage with backpack definitely you will have hard time to walk there [Music] actually it's much harder than what i thought if you know which number you are in make sure get your train right in front of you otherwise if you carry the heavy ruggage you always excuse me you will be screwed anyway let's keep walking right finally it's number three i definitely need to take showering anyway let's go to my room let's go here we go seems like this is my room finally all right let me give you guys a room tour those are sleepers and the backfall trash so my private room is in the second floor it was a bit smaller than what i thought but there is a huge window right next to my bed sweet in the train no smoking and there is some small space for the backpack plus we have cup for drink and some space in front of the door ceiling height is okay i'm 178 centimeter if you have two meter you might hit your head though maybe i can place the suitcase over here and let me place my backpack over there by the way it's 1am already well i was walking in the train about 30 minutes can't believe uh i'm not sure which station it is i'm really excited to see the sunrise here oh my goodness it doesn't fit forget it let me place it like this sweet it's perfectly fit actually i changed my mind there is a laptop inside in my carry-on luggage so i don't want to place it in the stairs that's why i place it here i'm not sure i can lie and then i can slow it anyway let me take off my shoes i can sleep here [Music] by the way we have pj here okay it's coffee huh except my leg now feels much better here's the ac if it's cold you can close it there is some top and there are stairs my place is second floor there is a mirror so that you can set your hair here and power outlet and what is this for let me see oh actually it's the light oh you can see outside really nice wow amazing hold on hold on let me do it again let me do it again wow feels kind of weird i'm sleeping moving it's my first time to ride on the hotel train really nice and it seems like this one has a heater so if you are cold it became warmer plus there is a radio you can plug in your headphone and you can listen to it so this is pretty much it in my room let's explore the train but beforehand let me start charging my batteries it's perfect so let's go [Music] in each room there is electric lock you can place phone numbers whichever you like and lock it seems like there are many rooms without customers before the pandemic this train was really popular and it was so hard to buy private room ticket even it was expensive though this is the dining area in the rest area in the train you can see outside and talk because of the situation no people here though also this train has shower room you can buy shower card here but during busy season shower card will be sold out soon so you should get one ahri now its green light is on it means you can still buy the card hold on they don't sell nader rent towels and i don't have one today well if you want to take shower here make sure bring small towels with you and those are the drinks they sell in the train price is a bit expensive and they don't sell alcohol neither so make sure get drink before you get into the train and this is the shower room seems like someone is using it so i'll be back later to show the shower room [Music] i was really thirsty this audio chat is so good so since we have pjs let me wear this so how is it it's better than jeans [Music] alright now it's time for late dinner but beforehand let me go to wash my hands [Music] seems like shower room is open now let's check inside there are two rooms inside this is a room that you can take off your clothes and the other side is shower room there are free shampoo and body wash if you buy shower cart you can take shower for 6 minutes so definitely you have to wash your body as quick as possible by the way there is hair dryer too also this is what the restroom looks like there are several restrooms in the train and this is the sink in the train oh wait don't you guys think this pj is too short for me well i'm happy today is not the busy season so that i don't have to meet other people all right finally time for drink finally actually i kind of realized i was too excited and i bought a lot of food but uh i think it's too much for late dinner so let me save those two onigiries for tomorrow's breakfast today let me just eat this tarot chicken salad [Music] oh smells good [Music] it's nice psycho this teriyaki chicken with turtles really good with salad it's not heavy at all really light it's perfect for dinner it's really good with broccoli drinking beer and watching outside night town perfect you know what actually this place is kind of shaking a lot well so it's kind of hard to eat if you are thinking of getting a lot of food like i do be for it this place is kind of cold i guess because it is close let me change my regret close so for now i will go to trash and i will brush my teeth oh actually it's a nice bracket i'm totally messing around oh now i know if i have this blanket i can sleep with that clothes no it looks pretty nice there is a rice with ketchup an egg there is a half full egg inside the egg on top is really soft already but this half oil that incredibly soft have you guys tried over rice that's really popular food in japan if you haven't please try that next time when you visit japan [Music] and this is wasabi basically so seems like it's brown rice is there wasabi inside or it already has wasabi taste i'm not sure let me try this is a bit different than what i thought there's a wasabi inside in the middle it's a bit spicy if you don't like wasabi definitely you should eat this but i like wasabi so loving it so actually we will get to tokyo in 30 minutes so i'd better get ready let me clean up my steps [Music] [Music] finally i'm in tokyo actually it was a bit tiring and a bit expensive than regular way but definitely priceless experience yes i checked off my bucket list again i will be staying in tokyo until olympic games i will try to make a video in the live
