welcome to the verbose citrus ball on ABC is part of capital one ball mania college football royalty on a 70 degree New Year's Day in Orlando has two iconic programs Alabama and Michigan made for just the fifth time two centuries worth of history packaged on the field of a pair of top 15 teams trying to get its 11th win mission in going for its 10th even one bow mania [Music] to Camping World Stadium the forego Citrus ball number 14 Michigan 13th ranked Alabama the Wolverines trying for their tenth win to be the fourth time in the last five years and of Alabama wins it would be the 11th boss and deferred so Michigan will get the ball first Giles Jackson who does have a return for a touchdown is deep for Michigan [Music] [Applause] the end of the season but a new decade a college football about to kick off [Applause] full of us booting it deep and Jackson slippin and still get 20 we'll get past the 25 rugs who might be the fastest dynamic was it [Music] and she Patterson quarterback for Michigan's them downfield on the first play and it's incomplete through the hands best of his career with the accuracy show Michigan lost that game though 56-27 peoples Jones and that patient he is surveying the field an excellent job by those guys on the offensive line giving shape Patterson 20 on hit the ball though it's great quarterbacks they've had is it look close Patterson was trying to call a timeout he did before the snap but you think of all the great quarterbacks they take the jet sweep and hand it off to Haskins inside the 20 breaking a tackle down inside the 10 the helmet came off was able to take those shots occasionally and again no McKinney for this play at Patterson a touchdown out of the tire and Nordine ties it up to seven midway through this opening quarter count for the jet sweep and then you got to account for the inside run and then sure enough they're gonna go ahead and sneak to Eubanks out for the backfield this is just so difficult to defend if you talk to Alabama defensive coordinator Pete Golding the quarterback run clearly look at the defenders for Alabama with eyes on number two shaped Patterson very very concerned about that quarterback run as a result Eubanks is able to sneak into the flat of some pretty disappointed be a signature win for what Harbaugh initially are trying to accomplish a touchback absolute beat down between the LSU Tigers and the Oklahoma Sooners run play here Eris stood up at about the 28 that there are three championship caliber programs but it's not like that every year slice that most years Jones pass caught by Judy look at truly reversed field and still had the speed to get back there and may decides to go to the NFL and off to Harris off the left edge and into Michigan Terrace there in his first year as the offensive coordinator was here as an assistant a few years ago then went to the Falcons to be their offensive coordinator for a couple of years as they stopped pressure off the is a first down without one of the best players in college football - at Unga by law and losing to two really good teams one being maybe the best team LSU trying to become there's so many storylines within the story there and what should be a great matchup they get a first down run Ozzy Harris caring [Applause] rebuking tribute or coming out of the backfield to the passing game Davenport again excuse me Harris it great to tackle again Wow unbelievable the first out but Newmont Michigan inside the 25 trying to put this one away inside three minutes to go just keeping it on the ground with Nagi Harris and again it takes a handful of Michigan platin decides to return to Tuscaloosa for his senior years I'll be refreshing my Twitter constantly for the next 19 days but just to repeat your opinion from earlier today your opinion is you you think he's gonna come back I do - you do - Tom absolutely I think it's so important to put your moves from Hawaii and Tahlia the backup quarterback for this game will be a true sophomore Harris inside the five wait that's something there's a part of tool that he wants to prove to everybody first on a goal here for Alabama Parris planet bounce off
