Mexico’s small lobster village | PUERTO NUEVO, BAJA CALIFORNIA

baja california a peninsula located in northwestern mexico surrounded by both the pacific ocean and the gulf of california it's mainly known for its beautiful coastline beaches wine and delicious seafood if you're just now catching up with us we're lily and tony the tees we've been spending some time in the hustle and bustle town of tijuana but now we are heading 45 minutes down the beautiful coast to check out the small sleepy fisherman village of puerto nuevo and here in puerto nuevo they're known for one thing and that one thing is lobster we're here in january which is a cooler time but it's also the most perfect time because it's lobster season which is october through march and puerto nuevo is the most famous and best place to eat lobster in mexico so with all that being said let's go find our lobster okay so puerto nuevo is a really small village and once you walk in there's just tons of restaurants competing against each other so you'll have people come up to you and tell you what their special is how much they'll charge what's included so we're just gonna walk around and see who has the best price and see what they have to offer i'm getting excited to eat some lobsters sound so good have margarita and just chill on the port and see the beautiful water here [Music] [Music] oh my gosh this view is amazing it's so nice so we decided and we got the special so for eighty dollars you get a lobster you get tortillas you get rice beans chips salsa you either get an orchard a margarita or a tequila shop so it's a really good deal for this whole platter so i'm really excited it sounds so good but i can't get over these though and they got the mariachi band playing just to set the mood perfectly oh spicy oh and this special comes with the soup too so it comes with a lot of things it's a really good deal i was not expecting this when we got here but i'm really glad we stopped here but first things first it's good it's not that strong but the flavor is really good it tastes like wine made with a kick of tequila all right so just let's just crack into this tortilla soup um that tomato base is flavorful man that just hits i have to go again that's so good that's probably the best tortilla soup i've ever had in my entire life that's pretty major pretty major our food just arrived and oh my gosh i am happy the lobster looks so good it looks like they deep fried it the guy was telling us they deep fry it not very long just to get really crispy and half the meat really juicy it looks so good this is a lot of food this looks delicious okay i think i'm ready to dig in let's get it cracking oh my goodness i just hit so hard so good season two perfection and cookie perfection wow that's really juicy and meaty it's not overcooked it's not dry it's just right and they seasoned it really well whatever they put on here is giving me like a cajun lobster vibe they did that and they just picked these lobsters from the ocean so they're fresh this is so good i haven't had lobster in a really long time and they just did it for me oh man i don't know what can beat this kind of sick view bomb lobster and i'm with my honey oh and the ladies back there are hooking up the tortillas fresh so i can't wait to crack into this we shall peace [Music] that was premium but i'm so cool now we feasted indeed after getting our lobster fixed now we're gonna head 20 minutes up north to the beach town of rosarito there isn't really much here in the village besides restaurants and little vendors so let's head to rosarito [Music] it's a bit chilly here and misty but there's still people out here renting horses yeah surprisingly they're renting little like horses to ride on the beach and like there's men selling elote and little candies these little beach bars rosarito is a pretty well known place on the baja because the titanic was filmed here fun little facts yeah they have a little uh hollywood studio here it's uh baja studios but they filmed a couple of movies and shows out here for example like fear the walking dead what else deep blue sea that's that's another one yeah lots of different films but right now because it's cold it's a little sleepy but it's nice to listen to the waves in sight see the sun is gonna set in a little bit yeah starting to set right now yeah there's people having picnics too little romantic cookies with their cerveza and tequila so i think we're gonna end this vlog here and say thanks so much for watching and if you need our channel don't forget to hit that like button and subscribe so you can catch up with us and see more videos yep so don't miss out on action alright so we're gonna say be cool stay safe and peace out till next time peace oh what's good foos good morning run i'm playa de rosarito let's get it
