This song is awesome, in drop d, which they don’t do often. Just everything about this song is awesome, easily one of the stronger songs on the album.

Hoooooooolllllyyyyyyy crap this is one of my favorite songs of all time.
The split second of silence after the clean intro....and then the T H R A S H hits you. The chugging sounds amazing, and once the drums kick in it solidifies the fact that Metallica have returned to their roots. Seriously, if this was on any of their 80s albums it would be praised as one of their greatest songs (even though it already is ;)
The descending chord during the chorus is great as well.
And then..........the solo. In my honest opinion this is The Most Eargasmic Solo in all of their songs. Can I just say 5:52 is my absolute favorite moment in any metal song I've ever heard? (In the song w/o the video, also in C# tuning) Eb-E-B-F# is the best chord progression absolutely.
Holy crap this one is 11/10. This, along with Damage Inc and Dyers Eve are the holy trinity of Metallica's thrashers. Best. Damn. Song. In. Forever.
