Metalhead Photographer REACTS to Dimash Kudaibergen Sinful Passion | I'm At a Loss for Words

what is going on you guys Matthew from Brewster reviews here and today we are getting what are you looking at she's being all cute but today we got some more dommage for you guys and I'm making this based on the fact that one I have a headache and two the video that you guys saw last which was by dommage SOS video was actually a video that I recorded like three or four videos ago so I haven't seen damash since then which with you has been two days for me has been like over a week now so I'm itching to get back into some damash after hearing that SOS song I want to know what the rest of this guy stuff is like because if it's apparently better than that what are you looking at what sorry I keep seeing it in the screen here because you guys are saying that that song like isn't even anything compared to what his other stuff is so if that's true I want to get into that like immediately so that's what we're gonna do today but first off before we get into anything like that I wanted get into damash sinful passion all right guys we got the video loaded up here and we are doing sinful passion by dommage today because it was the overall most requested song in the SOS videos comments section I think followed closely by one I think it was called like Agni Petra or something like that probably butchering the pronunciation of that but it was sinful passion and that one like one to really close so I just went with the one that I could actually pronounce but anyway we're gonna shift all of our focus towards mister dommage today and we are gonna get into this video you'll see charity to sway me tawanda me see Ches national saying which is literally by Akon skip die English if the protein will be deal prior to coulis get dire Pakistan I beat you oh yeah you guys did let me know by the way that he is from Kazakhstan and he's not friend she can speak like or you can sing like 12 different languages or something like that unbelievable asses you put so much like information that's kind of a cool sign has like LEDs on it [Music] [Music] still has that breath unison Wow okay much more full notes here much more power coming through on those vocals there he's been doing a lot of like hand works just kind of like hold his hands or like pointing and stuff like that [Music] subway Cosmo cute on kidneys listen to her [Music] listen to that like whatever string instrument that is that a stand-up bass or like a cello in the background man [Music] okay so I know you all have been waiting for me to comment on this vocal that he's doing but trying to figure out this whole time other than listening to like whatever string instrument that was this is this is more of a feminine side of his vocal here again kind of similar to like what he did in SLS where he had kind of like the male side and the female side but this is different because it doesn't sound it doesn't sound like higher like it doesn't sound like it's it's in like a head voice or like a falsetto or something like it's not that it's almost like a feminine normal range with air behind it but it's a man singing and it's it's really odd cuz it's it's almost like dommage has a switch but it can turn from male to female male to female male to female but his female register or his female sire however you want to kind of describe it it doesn't have to be like a head voice or like a higher voice like it could be like a normal singing voice that he does just another feminine stock and I was trying to figure out if that's what he was doing here or if this was like some type of really low falsetto but I can't really determine it but it sounds like a feminine lower vocal okay and this is back on the male side now you just turn the switch back to male and he's gotten rid of that breathy vocal and now this is much more powerful that was weird did you can see that his tongue was doing vibrato [Applause] [Music] I've never seen someone do vibrato with their tongue before I've only I've only noticed that like with the throats or like their larynx or their jaw I've seen people do it like with their jaw where they like you know they kind of have the the wobbling of the jaw and I've seen people do it with their throats when they do like you know like deep down in here they control the vibrato and their throat I've never seen someone control the vibrato with their tongue and I just happened to catch it because I was looking at his mouth positioning and there was like I'm assuming just like a stage light coming in and it is lit his tongue I just see it flick in there a little bit very interesting I've never seen that before man he was like crying in these vocals using that hand that was interesting so here he's picked it up a little bit in these in these give me lines where something was something saying I'm gonna butcher it but it sounds like he's saying like die me or die me a but he's he's not going like he's like die he has it just like powerful like duck at the beginning of it kind of like he's flicking something and his hand that he's been you know like using or whatever whenever he hit that died he went die I'm like through his hand like flicked his hand kind of along with the vocal because she's been using his hand just kind of out there so that it's not just like he's not sitting there just kind of like singing like this with his hand to the side or like here or just like this so that he's actually like performing you know it's not boring to look at he's he's moving around switching microphone hands and he's just kind of doing stuff with his hand and here he goes to this little he was little like and think here and then just just flicks it with that note duh very visually associate you can associate it very visually with us with his vocal much more for years that's more of like a mixed voice now it's like a chesty mixed voice [Music] I was waiting for his upper register to come back because in SOS he kind of had he started off higher and then just went down and then went back up high and then went really high and then went back down and then went back down and then went back to the middle and then back really high again and it was kind of all over the place this has been very low this whole time even even those breathy feminine sounds that he was doing earlier have been lower so I was waiting for him to reach a higher register and a holy crap that he just reached the higher register [Music] [Music] it looks so easy [Music] look at his body positioning and he's moving his hands still just get that like firm just [Music] and what note is that someone in the comments right what note that was because I don't have a keyboard to tell yet but that is insanely high holy cow [Music] and I back down low again just immediately I'm sorry what [Music] [Music] [Music] what was that mocha what did he just do what what was that that was like man that no time what the heck is that [Music] still doing the little hand flippy things wow there's some power for you so somebody noticed here and I'm starting to pause it again but when he goes into this this little whatever the heck this thing is here that he's doing he's he's playing with his hand look how just just relaxed his hand is here whatever the heck that is it looks easy for him which pretty much everything looks easy for him but he does all that but then when he gets into this next note it's like this crazy crazy powerful operatic belt that he's got going on here and you can tell immediately how much effort he's putting into this note compared to everything else he's done so far because he's been very very relaxed you can see it in his movements you can see he's walking all slowly he's like doing these random movements all slowly and he's just been kind of like you know whatever until he goes for these notes because he takes a very big breath to get all this power takes a very big breath and he clenches his fist for the first time I think this whole performance and then when he goes into this note he like it's almost like if you if you're gonna yell really really loudly at something and you just like you go hmm you know what he'd like be one of those type of things I'm not gonna yell cuz it's gonna block the mic but you kind of you kind of go like dah and you like just yell like that take a big deep breath and you clench your fist and then what if you go to yell you just let it all out and you just go boom with your hands and your hands open like wide open and he does the same thing here with this note and you can tell just the power that he's inserting into this note fist open that's the fist and it back open again hands still wide open on the other side now [Music] [Music] what did I just witness did he take a breath even throughout that whole thing I think this is the note right he acts this one where does this note start so it's not this one 444 we're gonna keep that in the back of our head and you see the jumping around like it's just and the lights come up [Music] what are these runs there's so much heater wait that's a breath five own 509 okay hold on math that's 25 seconds 25 seconds it can't be so he okay so I'm gonna try to go through this whole thing at once I'm gonna look for any breaths I'm gonna listen to for any breaths and I'm gonna try to break down what I think is happening here or what what I'm just noticing so he's just bouncing all around like he's getting all energized for this but even when he's bouncing around there's no change in his pitch his pitch is perfect even through all the little bounces it never wavers once and then he goes into like full-on Krauts to get everything he can out of that vocal and then the lights come up in the background and he hits what is that note and it's a mixed note it's not even aa it's not even a head voice falsetto that is like full belting mixed voice what and he gets a run and then he does another run and then he does another run well then he does another run I think takes a breath fiber that's 25 seconds well what I heard Tatyana from ginger do a live belt like this for 11 seconds and she didn't even do any of these like crazy runs or any of this stuff and this is 25 seconds with one breath on a full crazy mixed belt and then all of these runs and then he was just immediately singing like he's not out of breath at all this is the most boring man on earth by the way not damash but that Kate that pianist most boring man on earth he's even still emotional like he's still conveying so much emotion even though I think the songs don't mean the audience is all standing up and clapping and everything but like you still convey he's holding the microphone there and he's just still just she's feeling all of that music that was unbelievable I did not think anything could top the SOS performance that was the best best vocals I've ever heard of my life and then dommage comes out here in sinful passion and throws a 25-second belt with runs in a full mix voice at some insanely high note and that's we're not even gonna question it you were right this one was better this one was better make sure to go follow me on instagram
