Metal Detecting Old Church in Minnesota

oh yeah that buff we got an episode I can't get the words out of my freaking mouth we got enough for an episode today booyah kuya boy it's all because of that hoof though and this phone book this whole phone book here [Applause] oh hi guys I'll start over that was terrible uh how do I always open up these things okay guys oh yeah that's right okay guys so we got a hot minute and uh we're gonna drop a coil uh this location is an old uh town hall and he turned it into a museum I think in the last 20 years or so but this is a site I've actually been to before um and I was searching my memory banks to see if I had found anything worth keeping and I couldn't remember but I thought I found a toy gun and a couple of coins so I'm excited to check again and see if you can pull something good there's got to be some silver coins here I would think there has to be so we'll get back at you with the first fight growth that is a leg are you talking yeah yeah so I think I stepped right on top of this so my producer pointed it out I I it slipped my eye but nothing slips my eye see we have a hoof and I'm not too sure what the story is on this guy but um I don't know maybe got hit by a car and his leg fell off at some point but it's kind of sad uh definitely a deer well I know what to tell you [Music] tough digging [Applause] [Music] good chance it's a coin it was coming up high 70s which isn't really a coin signal but uh sometimes they are it's right here yeah see we get through this layer of gravel back to the original dirt that's where you're gonna find the Indians and everything else pocket watches buttons I think we have another hunk of metal here big a big nut oh it's one of those horse rings so these are on rains they keep the reins of the horses all together in a particular spot I find a lot of these on Old Farmhouse sites and the likes so that's pretty cool right in the parking lot of the 18 92 church so obviously they're having their horses here in their wagons and all the rest um and let's just find their coins [Applause] oh those are the sounds that get me going those are the ones get me buzzing nice crisp nice and tight no wobbly action just straight up you just get inside my earlobe no because the lighting is bad on that side this side is better good oh I love that sound being Indian props is a pop cans ah good night what is this garbage the G it's a J hook you catch Jesse's with those ew finally got a coin I think maybe probably is that the way it goes probably maybe probably maybe so it wants to break through it's a little deep which means to be a little bit older kind of excited here let's pop a nice plug and it's in the plug so let's have some fun crack this sucker open [Music] there it is it's a coin looks like a regular Penny to me where right here Combs looks kind of thin uh it's a regular dime shucks not even a silver uh 1973. well needs to some action gotta get through this initial layer here [Music] right here foreign don't know what to make of this it's obviously a kind of cap oh I mean some kind of detail on there I can't tell you yeah I'm gonna have to clean this up and take a closer look but you can obviously see a little bit of details here it's not fancy so this is just I don't know some kind of mechanical piece but we'll clean it up and see if we can oh I know I think that's the case to a toy gun I think that goes on the side I'm pretty sure just like this fine needs a lot so I'll see if I can identify that later and give you a close-up the trash ants in here I'm gonna Disturbed a nest I'd rather disturb a home of ants and bees let me tell you that ground bees are notorious for attacking in fact I had to drop all my gear one time to run away come back in the morning and get my stuff oh it's right there 410 can't pass that up this is a little bit uh a little bit broken of a single but it's got coin written all over it it's just a big metal plate [Music] [Music] so that's a square head nail so we've got some age here and these things always always sound like a coin in the hole I don't know why but then you pop them out of the hole and then they don't even register on the coil which is really odd grab another nail but you always gotta double check seems to really give me a hard time yeah there it is a big metal plate that's what I thought I hit it with my shovel earlier and I could feel it uh not something different here it comes it's a railroad spike yeah [Music] I guess that makes sense because there's a track right there so that's pretty cool look at cool Spike actually seems kind of short maybe it's older that's worth a go kind of desperate out here the church is right here so there could be plenty of spill over from you know wagons and horses and whatnot oh there it is what is this same thing looks like some kind of electrical piece Maybe battery sure what this is um looks like the key yeah goes in the door I think that's our key I don't know what this is oh there goes my clean jeans I knew I should have worn those but I don't know maybe some kind of lock type deal on a small door this would go right in the inside like that maybe leave a comment if you know does it match perfect you're beautiful thanks I'm not afraid to wear a flower in my hair guys confident in my own skin that's a good signal signal point let's have a look all right it's out of the plug the fun oh it's right there oh it might be an older coin please please be a silver Merc Ury penny no I'll be a weedy at least well there's Abe Lincoln and there's your date 1979 that's a date I was born I can't believe it that's pretty neat it's your lucky penny that was a great year a lot of good things came out in 1979 let me tell you I'll let you know when I can remember what they were sounds like another coin to me let's have a look [Applause] oh there it is big big metal plate Oops why did I turn that off [Applause] big hunk of iron that's why it sounded so good was a little too powerful to be a coin but I just was wishful thinking this one's out of the hole already I'm not too optimistic um it's a low tone so it could just be tin foil let's find out no it's a coin we got a coin everybody oh no we don't oh my gosh so I thought that was a rim but it's not a shotgun shell rats those things trick me all the time but nonetheless metal casing who is the last person shooting shotgun shells around here I wonder that'll be a long time ago I gotta get colorful shirts man like I think that's key who doesn't like it was like team Elise what is your shirt uh well this is team Elise and uh me my producer we've been in Haiti actually which I think you saw in one of the episodes and team Elise is a company that provides food for the local Haitians the communities um run by a really wonderful guy a great family they care about the people they're always doing good stuff they're always I don't even know going above and beyond was asked for of them um by the community by their employees and um I'm gonna cry this is wonderful so I'm really proud of you know share their t-shirt and get their word out all that stuff so big shout out to those guys love them [Applause] well my shovel set sunk down so far I think this might be one of my old hauls from last year totally lost the signal just found it
