Metal detecting Cold Harbor for Civil War relics.

[Music] thank you let's see three ringer I don't know if that's smooshed or fired but either way happy to have it cool I know y'all are tired seeing me dig bullets but that's all I'm digging so I'll film them 17 18. this could be modern maybe not at that depth though I don't think this will be modern jinx myself let's see what we got foreign jump down jump way down touch it cap foreign [Music] foreign [Music] there we go there's something good button nope I'll take a bullet though [Music] um that's a Smith or what to get it cleaned up and see it could be carved I don't know cool a little jumpy there thank you flip that thing out 18 19 now let's see oh look at there I spot a three ringer [Music] since the war that's a drop bullet that's a cool feeling when you get on when you get on these salts uh and you're pulling the Civil War relics that are 160 years old um you're the first person to touch that thing since that Soldier dropped it or loaded into his rifle um just a cool thought uh uh these bullets are they getting pretty deep 10 inches or so um but anything that's had a a bit of a high tone to it and was somewhat repeatable has been a bullet so I'm happy with the machine um it's just uh the bullets are so deep and some of them have been you know way deeper than 10 inches but I think that's 24 25 or so I'm not filming everyone but uh just trying to get you guys something to watch I'll see you on the next one all right guys I thought this was pretty cool I just dug a uh an infield I don't know uh 14 15 16 inches down and it's dropped I was like man that's cool but check it out it's still got the paper on it this was in the the paper cartridge whenever it was dropped that is cool I'm gonna try and keep that all together I'll put that in a separate pouch but that is awesome I've never found one like that just fell off that's all right it's got It's all over it it's pretty cool well I'm happy with that guy right there today things pulling them deep that's um I don't know that's about a 16 inches or so has a nice dropped infield down in there it's given a higher tone the deeper they are but that's okay with me I'd rather do that than a little lower tone where I might bypass it um but man that's a that's some hard packed dirt right there I was getting pretty deep and it was giving me like a let's give me like a 30 31. um before I got down there close to it and I kept digging it had a little bit of a grunt to it I guess just because it was so low I was really hoping I was going to have a shell but not in my cars today was something crazy happens but I doubt that always trying to get all the dirt back in that hole nice and level and pack it back down that way these horses or ponies whatever they might have in the field don't hurt a leg falling into a hole so cool got a jumpy High tone down in the bottom of this hole probably going to be a bullet right there oh my God I like it when they're crusted over like that a little Easter egg or something fired three ringer yeah they're uh they're high they're high Down in the Hole but once you get them out you can just about bet it's gonna be a bullet gets back down about that 18 to 20 range I'm hoping to dig one of these high tones and get it out of the hole and it's still high that'll that'll get me going so we'll see probably not gonna stick around too much longer get back towards the house here soon got about a four hour drive I'm gonna be getting home too late cool well guys uh that was a long day I'm wore out um I think I've got about uh 35 36 37 volts something like that mid 30s ton of little pistol balls bucking balls Buckshot whatever you call it I got a token a few other little bits and pieces flat button or two uh it was a good day I'm wore out I've got about a three and a half hour drive to get home so I will show you the wrap up when I get there you'll see it right now all right so here's what we got for today got a seven round balls uh six infields one still has the wood plug in it another still has paper on it pretty cool got a centennial token a flat button still has some cloth on it another piece of a flat button several three ringers um Sharps got a couple carved bullets here foreign [Music] type I believe this is a type one Williams cleaner uh it's been warmed this pulled out of a rifle that misfired a bunch of bucking balls pistol balls whatever um percussion caps some gardeners and also had a few iron targets there they're still in the truck because it's nothing a special couple little frag pieces stuff like that but it was a a good day so we'll see all the next one
