Brennan also has a blog about a moment that further radicalised him, itβs funny but it addresses New York life that few people experience. Itβs so cool to see someone be so forward with their politics and see that everything has politics, lots of respect.
Apologies to the youthsthsssthsthssthshss, as I am An Old Lady, so I'm not sure if I'm using this correctly, but...
ahem
Brennan Lee Mulligan is based.
Brennan is a comrade and a good dude.
Brennan Lee Mulligan is my favourite DM, hands down, and Fantasy High is a fucking laugh riot from start to finish. I love it
They make a comment in one of the seasons (Crown of Candy maybe?) that Brennan's BBEGs are always capitalism or the church or something along those lines.
I mean, the BBEG in Unsleeping City (dunno how to spoiler tag on mobile) hits the nail pretty squarely on the head.
Emily throws some nice lefty takes from time to time on NADDPOD. Murphy is clearly the well intentioned liberal of the group.
CollegeHumor is surprisingly left leaning when they aren't shooting themselves in the foot
Much like actual college humor
If anybody wants context on the two or three sections of this video, here are the spoilers:
They first meet the Cubbys when they get in a highway battle against the Johnny Spells gang. A west-side-story type gang that sings and dances, but nonetheless is murderous. The poor cubby family is involved while just minding their own business, trying to get home from having ice cream, when the Johnny Spells gang attacks them just for being on the highway at the time. The Cubbys reward the "Bad Kids" (as they call themselves) with ice cream.
Eventually the police of the town put together who killed all these gangsters (and it was a total party kill) and steal the leader's 'enchanted' sentient bike (now loyal to Fabian), and arrest the Bad Kids. They sit in jail for several days and none of their parents take their phone calls, except Fabian's father, who shows up, berates Fabian, then gets knocked out by Fabian.
But before even that, Fabian's motorcycle (nicknamed The Hangman) shows up the first day outside the window and says he'll get help. They don't have any idea how Hangman is going to do that. But somehow it comes up with the idea to find the Cubbys and manages to get an entire anarcho-socialist militia to show up and attack the station while the Bad Kids escape.
His enthusiasm is infectious
