[Music] this is the body kit for the z wow that's how they came for the what man i love this color oh this is oh my god it does look cool good damn damn i like it it's a personal teal it's emerald it are back at the shop they brought the parts that the guys over at ghost wraps actually wrapped up for so the bumpers the over fenders the wings so cj you guys probably remember cj from the cappuccino video they wrapped our cappuccino and a couple other vehicles for us as well and they've actually followed the boys back here to wrap the chassis itself now i have some explaining to do we're wrapping this car so that when it's operational which we're hoping is very soon the car is one color it doesn't look like a turd like it does right now so cj and cj actually came down here to our shop they're gonna knock out the chassis that way we have a car that is one complete color and then when it's running we can take beautiful photos of it it doesn't look like a turd so ain't nothing too about to do we've got a roll of avery dennison emerald green that's not the technical name you guys will have to look that up i don't know what it is is emerald green it looks beautiful out in the sun and this thing is going to really shine once they get all the color on it and we'll push it outside and show you guys when they're done [Music] this [Music] damn that color is sick dude a lot of work killed it wow i love the color that looks so cool i love how you did that in black wow the color is a lot brighter than even i i saw from the ear and in the sun too it's like super metallic as well that looks day here at the throttle shop cj is still here he cranked away and actually got the whole car wrapped yeah all of it which is pretty impressive so they did do the body kit parts at their facility but the chassis itself was done all here today in a matter of five hours yeah so pretty good so thank you so much for coming down today uh i don't know what the next project we're gonna have for you is out colors and get your car wrapped up just like this beautiful green ev car that's right all right well in order to get this thing buttoned up quinn had started putting our 370z headlights in that's right 370z even though this is a 350z the liberty walk kit that we chose from japan actually does a facelift on the z33 platform to make it look like a z34 in the front so in order for us to get these to fit properly we actually made our own headlight brackets now the kit is a very nice complete kit it does come with brackets we wanted to go with something a little bit thicker gauge and heavier these headlights don't wobble around at all and we came up with our own way of mounting them so quinn's actually piecing that together right now and then once these are on we can actually fit the front bumper and then we can put the over fenders on and get a really good look of how this is actually going to appear when it's all buttoned up so it is an exciting day [Music] all right quinn did a good job putting the headlights on fenders are all mounted up it's time to toss this front bumper on [Music] man it's hard to believe it's the same car wow yeah i mean i think it looks as good as we thought it would uh the kit's next level like i don't think we've ever dealt with a body kit that's fit this nice i think we've been saying that since we got it but seeing all in one color is pretty cool [Music] oh my god dude last time i thought they have no front end that's cool [Music] these wheels have now been on the e92 where else have they been actually oh the e36 they didn't fit on the m2 and now they're on the 350z in the rear this is using tesla hubs and the entire motor assembly so actually the rear is 5x120 that's not a problem because that's what these wheels are spec for but the front is actually 5x114 because we're running a 350z front end so that's why you saw them installing the 5x114 to 5x120 adapter i'm just excited because i think the green with the bronze color combo is going to look so good and quinn's almost there we'll drop it down for the first time on the front and then we get to air it out too which is exciting [Music] [Music] that's what she said nothing's happening nothing's happening keep going more [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] all right well it's the next day and our 350 ev looks like a car again and that was the goal this car has been doing a lot of sitting around our shop and over at stealth ev and we feel like we have a little bit of explaining to do this project has really gotten drawn out and a lot of that's because i've been working on it in the background with all the other projects going on so we've been doing a lot of wiring on the rear battery box and we're now moved on to the front battery box so we're going to give you guys an update on that really soon but we wanted to get some color on the car sort of get an idea of what it's going to look like once it's all done and once it's running we didn't want to look like a turd so it's a huge shout out to ghost wraps for coming down and making that happen for us we did also toss these te37s on the on the car as well just as a placeholder wheel and something to roll around on in the shop these are not the wheels that are actually going to be on the car when it's finished most likely just that we had them here from evans bmw and they happened to fit this car so we made them work with the addition to quinn to our shop and ricky coming on full time that's going to allow me a little bit more time to work on this as those guys are going to be tackling a lot of the other day-to-day projects which is going to be a huge relief for me allow us to make some additional progress on this as well as our honda civic rear wheel drive the freak which is going to be coming back very soon as well so i'm very excited to get back on this we have a massive update coming for you guys in the next video about this car so stay tuned for that thank you guys so much for tuning in
