Meat Filled & Fried Chili Peppers

what's up y'all today i'm going to be trying something that for some reason i've never had before these are meat stuffed battered and then deep fried korean chili peppers and let me just tell you this wow in korean these are called kochu tuiji and i'll tell you what i've never seen anything like this before these are looking absolutely insane and i don't know why i haven't had these before because they're looking right up my alley look at the size of this this is blowing my mind actually because this is at least double maybe triple the size that i thought it would be and it's looking real crispy it's looking absolutely amazing i hope the meat filling is good but there's only one way to find out and that's what i call some craggly batter right there all the little nooks and crannies it's so crispy and it's like that's large all right they did give me some sauce as well by the way uh i paid like 10 bucks for this i got four of them right here so that's an amazing price to be honest with you i think this is supposed to go with it uh this is not the most ideal sauce for dipping because there's large pieces of looking like onion and a lot of things up in there so we'll see if this works i also have some sriracha just in case i need to switch it up but yeah i'm gonna go in for this one right here and i'm gonna go in plain no sauce for the first bite let's get it that's ridiculous that's absolutely insane wow okay look i can't believe this is only like 10 bucks and that was with the delivery charge i mean it's full of what i believe is some kind of pork like ground pork mixed with other random things i'm not really sure exactly what's in it but i'm guessing hold on [Applause] maybe some garlic a little bit of this a little bit of that you know i'm saying some some herbs and seasonings and spices carrots it almost reminds me of a dumpling filling you know like a dumpling that you'd find uh like a korean salad don't plume that's the flavor i'm getting but it's super crunchy as you can probably hear crispy i wouldn't say crunchy i'd say right in the middle between crispy and crunchy but more crispy and you can see that the green of that pepper right up in there this is absolutely insane i've never seen korean chili peppers this large before usually they're literally like a tenth of the size is insane well you can taste some of that chili pepper it's not too spicy usually they're not but the small i think the the smaller ones are a lot spicier and the bigger ones are usually less spicy but let me try this sauce though see if i can identify it soy sauce base a lot of onions and little small chili peppers and this is really good for me personally almost a little too much you know that the saltiness of that soy sauce i think what would be better might be a little bit of uh yeah let me try this real quick i mean this is this is very salty you know i might be good on this ketchup to be honest with you oh now don't you hate it when that happens man i'll tell you what though man i don't know why it took me so long to try these the only thing that i would really change to make this absolutely insane would be adding some cheese either inside or just dipping it into some cheese sauce but i did want to try it more just straight up og for the first time trying it and maybe one of the most surprising things to be honest is it's not really that greasy like i can't really be skating across it with other food you can definitely skate and i thought that when i opened these i was like damn i might not be able to finish even two of these but they're going down they are going down uh i think it depends on the restaurant but a lot of places will cut them up and then serve it so i'm going to try that for the last one just so maybe you can get a better view as well yeah dog that's where it's at oh no man to me that's just a thing of beauty so this is one of my top surprises at 2022 so far i'm full i'm satisfied like i i am not no longer hungry and i can go about my day so i'm about to if you can find that man i highly recommend you you scope it out i have seen different versions and like some of them don't look as crispy as this so i don't know i've only had this one but i feel like it's all about that batter it's all about that crisp if it wasn't crispy uh yeah if it ain't crispy it ain't couldn't find a rhyme there but i'm definitely doubling back to this place sometime this would be a perfect like in korean you call it icha which means second eating drinking establishment so you eat dinner you have some drinks and then you go to icha which could be another drinking or bar establishment eating place have some more drinks have some more like finger foods you can go to some chuff and it can go on from there it can go to as high as you want really this would be a perfect like each house home shop place i feel like so you can just have some drinks and just crisp on a crunch on a little crispy little snack like this
