7844 Tower Runway 24 for takeoff fly Runway heading I'll call your left turn Runway 24 for takeoff fly heading you'll call my left turn [Applause] 7445 e that's 445 squat 30 63 3063 3 4 4 5 4 turn East approve [Applause] 4 445 for B contact near departure 1 32.75 13275 745 s 7844 maining 5500 student pilot soloer and the 2 niner niner 4 Runway 2 2 niner niner 4 7844 e contact approach 7845 I'm having engine issues out here 78 445 say again you're having issues with your uh engine yes issues with the engine M M M 78 445 78 445 Roger there's um Robertson 12 to 1:00 and about 10 there 78444 78 445 Bradley approach are you able to maintain altitude 445 7445 Roger Robertson's 12 to 1:00 and about 10 miles 7445 be able make it to Robertson 12 1:00 and about 10 miles negative engine is off 445 Waterberry is just behind you 45 nearest airport about 3:00 and 5 miles it's Waterberry airport I'm a student pilot solo and I am panicking 78 445 7 8445 Roger just stay calm um and tell me if you can see the airports about 2:00 and 5 miles now that's your closest airport do not have airport in sight 78 445 78 445 so just um starting to make your way to that airport um Tri out for Best Glide it's about 2:00 to 3:00 and about 5 miles 2992 maintain 3,000 3,000 29 18 Z refly with 445 behind you guide them into an airport if possible 120 Z about 10 miles behind you student pilot solo uh lost an engine they're 4700 ft uh you want to try guide them into airport 12 120 180 if you like to assist um few 445 uh 5 miles Southwest you now it's the grass grass strip can you advise on a heading for that please 78 445 445 so just heading 210 2 1 0 78 445 45 it's a 1735 Runway Aman 2992 join the Final Approach course maintain 3,000 Air Force 1 to 2:00 12 miles maintain 3,000 join the final course airport americ 292 2992 CL apprach six contact Tower see to 57 flight heading 1 0 maintain 5,000 0 down to 5 fle 57 445 fling 230 suggest 230 heading airports 1:00 and about four miles now heading 230 78 445 445 it's a grass strip approximately 2,000 ft long affirmative 78 180 that traff now about 12:00 about 8 Miles they're going to try to get a Waterberry Roger I'm heading towards the location now 128 Roger and uh it's November 41 for the airport and 445 it's about 11:00 and 2 to 3 miles do you have in sight 7844 78 445 Roger look good uh it should be visible shortly you should see it shortly it's a 17 Runway so that might set you up a little bit better Roger 7 445 445 the elevation at the airport is 850 it's uh should be right in front of you now about a half mile in front of you maybe uh just slightly to the right 445 how you doing I'm okay but I still have a negative on that visual 7 445 it should be right below you now um you're you're showing right over it right now 180 that traffic's now about 11:00 and 5 miles they're looking for water barri I don't know if you've ever been there have any advice uh I've never been there and I just got inside with that uh aircraft 28 Z 445 you're right above it right now um it should be right below you grass strip 2,000 ft it's 1735 Runway Roger 78 445 still scanning 445 it appears you're going past it right now suggest you uh turn right heading 0 two 0 turning right and 445 it should be out your right window when you turn I've shown you about a half mile just Southwest of it so turn hitting 050 suggested it should be off your right side you're just uh slightly above it and west of it Roger I have it inight 7844 78 445 very good um set up as you need and uh let us know if you need anything can you please contact pipy Tower 445 we will Tower no problem thank you 7 445 and 445 you're doing great um keep it in sight and uh keep going all right 445 this is 12180 you have any questions I got you Insight I'm ready above you me know Roger thank you 7 45 445 you doing great are you set up to land 445 I would join a downwind right now so start um and base from there so I would what's your altitude 445 all right yeah so start heading to the airport right base don't add any flaps yet just make sure uh no flap pit Your Best Glide P for Best Glide turn right right now for the through the airport approach 121 128 Z that plane just went down in the tree short of the runways 18 Roger appreciate the help 57 233 contact Bradley tower Tower appreciate the help um any uh indication of exactly where they are I appreciate it they're just south of uh 17 280 18 Z Roger appreciate it continue circling or uh leave the area 122 um we're um cont everybody we can right [Applause] now 1218 Z appreciate the help um can you see anything else that would help brother approach 120 I just got contact with that plane 18 Z Roger understood any more assistance no 1280 unfort I don't think of there's anything more you can do at this point thank you very much you can proceed on course z was there any fire November 1280 is there any fire you go for 12 came broken 18 Z was there any fire negative fire 122 thank you
