Hello guys. Today we are going on a tour around the Phi Phi archipelago. The cost of the tour is 1400 baht per person including a modest lunch. You can choose a morning or afternoon tour. As you might have guessed, we are going on a day trip. The beach at Maya Bay is one of the most famous and photogenic places in Thailand, and it was the main thing responsible for bringing tourism to Phi Phi island. In fact, it’s now one of the most famous white sand beaches in the world. Monkey Bay Monkey Bay is a hilly area named by tourists or boat captains because macaques prefer to eat at the seaside; however, because there is no beach due to the deep sea area, macaques usually eat in the trees and rocks. The monkeys are fun for pictures, but they can be aggressive if theyre provoked, so dont try to tease them or take their food. Theyve also been known to steal peoples glasses and other small items! Viking Cave The cave was so named, due to the prehistoric drawings that were found on the cave walls that resemble ancient viking ships. Within the cave there are lots of ledges which are inhabited by thousands of birds called swifts. These birds make their nests out of their own saliva. These nests are a delicacy in China. Each kilo will be sold at a price of 2500USD per kilo. Pileh Lagoon This surreal turquoise lagoon surrounded by giant rock walls is one of the best things to see on Phi Phi island in Thailand. It`s more amazing than it looks in video, and you may have enjoyed this spot even more than Maya Bay! When you reach the back of Pileh Lagoon, the boat drivers will usually turn their motors off and let you enjoy the lagoon for a while. This is a popular swimming and snorkeling spot on Koh Phi Phi Leh because the water is very clean and relatively shallow. If you get to Pileh early in the morning, you might have it all to yourself. You might even see some nice fish, although there`s no coral in this spot. It gets busier in the late morning and early afternoon, but the lighting is better for photos at that time since the lagoon isn`t hidden in shadows. The lagoon is only accessible by boat. Most Koh Phi Phi tours include a stop here, and the smaller boats can float into the lagoon and circle it, giving you up-close views of the impressive limestone karsts. Iconic Maya Bay Access to Maya Bay was restored in 2021 with certain strict conditions. Most importantly, boats can no longer approach the beach itself but instead must enter through Loh Sam Bay in the back of Maya Bay. The entire path is paved with wooden paths so as not to harm the island. There is a National Park fee of 400 baht to pay when entering the area, but the fee is already included in the price of most excursions. Our destination is at the top of the map. Let's talk about the rules. dont walk on coral, dont feed the fish, don`t collect anything from the beach, even sand. This is the central infrastructure here is a toilet with a foot shower. If you get hungry or forgot your water there is a snack bar. A box of pineapple or one piece of corn costs 100 baht. The price of a coconut is 200 baht, for example in Phuket 20-80 baht. Phi Phi Leh is a national park so you can`t fly
a drone without proper authorisation. If you try, rangers will run at you yelling within 30 seconds. You are not allowed to swim in the bay, just walk knee-deep. Lastly, you need to leave your shoes before you set foot on the beach. Its about 250 meters long, and the end of the beach has a shallow cave thats nice for photos. The main beach is incredibly photogenic. If you want to escape the crowds, there are usually less people at the far end of the beach. Most Phi Phi island tour packages give you one hour at Maya Bay, which is plenty of time to explore the beach, take pictures from every angle, and dip your feet in the water. The beach has been kept very clean. You don't hardly notice any trash, even though as many as 5,000 tourists come to this beach sometimes in a single day! The best time to visit Maya Bay depends on what you`re looking for. The weather in the Andaman Sea of Thailand (including Phi Phi) is best from November to April, when it`s more dry and sunny, and the sea conditions are better for boat tours. However, this is also the peak tourist season, so it`s more crowded. If walking along the beach makes you feel hot, you can hide in the shade at the base of the mountains. View of Maya Bay from the sea. Bamboo Island (Koh Phai) This is a small flat island located northeast of Phi Phi Don, with less people and a nice sandy beach covering most of the island. The center of the island has some trees, including the bamboo shoots that give the island its name, so you can escape the sun for a while when you`re not in the water. Monitor lizards live on the island, you can easily meet them here. Lots of Phi Phi island tours include this place in the itinerary, but it never feels too crowded, and if you walk around the side of the island for a while you may have it all to yourself. Monitor lizards are really not uncommon here. Overall, Bamboo Island is a great place to swim and soak up sun without the crowds of people. The tide is quite strong here, but not as shallow as Phi Phi Don. Snorkeling spot with fish bait. During such feeding, fish may accidentally bite you. Sunset bay. This is not the last place of the tour, but the luminous plankton can only be seen by oneself.
