happiest moments of my life Matthew was working hard because he wanted to be a good dad a good father but there was a problem I'm addicted to air duster [Music] they open your eyes please Edward your eyes quiz when I'm high I don't really have any worries or concerns I feel like everything is in its right place drums Matthew is psychotic he's confused when Matthew's high it's almost like he's hallucinating he's aggressive and he says things that are crude and rude Circle why why duster why is he doing I mean the obvious thing is it's not illegal typical day I'll go to the store and get 11 cans of dusters I'll usually spend about 60 dollars a day on duster nobody fixes that many computers you really justify buying as much as he's buying the can that he's using gets really cold so he'll pass out with the can in his hand and it will literally freeze his hand and burn it but he's still able to Huff he uses those burnt left hand to take the can to his face my biggest fear is that he's going to die stop breathing or have a terrible stroke Matthew was very smart he was always head of his class in math and reading my relationship with my mom was always pretty good I feel like she cared about me maybe a little too much my dad would be a lot harsher on me than my mom would be basically we would argue about everything dad would yell and occasionally throw stuff so the different approaches that Karen and I had two areas of discipline did cause some friction in our relationship it stressed my mom out a lot when my dad would get angry I didn't like seeing my mom upset because of the way my dad treated her I think Matthew tended to internalize it it seems like Mom and Dad put some stress on you at least dad did I was in the middle that's all I can say dude it's awesome 13 dude that's why I stood in the middle [Music] I believe the relationship between Matthew and Ice definitely fractured shut up why did my mom and dad fight I kept a lot of stuff inside like stuff that bothered me and my emotions and stuff [Music] the first time I smoked pot I got so high I walked to the side of my house and stood there for like 15 minutes and then thought I was like dreaming After High School I kind of picked up more drugs and did more drugs she did pot and spice and drinking [Music] I had met her through one of my friends and somewhere down down the line I got her pregnant and we had both generally agreed to raise the kid together it wasn't until he was born when we had a custody battle as soon as the baby was born the state was notified because the mother was already subject of the CPS case for her two previous children and Matthew was not able to have custody either because he was an active drug user I have nothing left I started doing this because he left dude it was basically like going from like this is the best moment of my life to like this is the worst possible feeling I think he turned to drugs even more after that the first time McKenna duster was introduced to my world I remember feeling really good any Floyd I just looked at my life and realized I did so much duster that I just had no desire to even hope to have like a long happy life I just don't care anymore and he's a shower with a brother I Used to Know [Music] yeah what I absolutely do feel used but I wanted to help Karen [Music] Gary the phone please why don't you tell your mom what damaging your body the accidents that could have been deadly it's a matter of time until someone's killed these people can help you will you please get help now in treatment no please no that's good take this up today uh no I don't I'm not interested in the help you guys are offering okay well your life is going to change to either way so let's tell them how things are different if he doesn't go we'll go to the courthouse this week and file for a restraining order that you have to be 600 yards away from the baby please get help for yourself no Matthew if you say no to treatment you will not return to the condo I will change the box please accept this help today no Matthew you're not going to have a place to live I'm sorry but no okay Mom no more money Matthew so the answer no yeah all right so I want you to go outside and turn this phone off while we finish this do it now turn this off working well that's not over yet I don't care excuse me it's not over yet honey they're asking for the immediate future are to get a job start looking into going to college never been able to be excited about it because I use drugs all the time but now that I'm sober it seems like something
