Mastering Recall and Gaining My First Heart Container! | Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Ep.5

hey guys we're back with another Legends of Zelda tears of the kingdom and we're still working our way through the training yep another tutorial yes great Sky Islands is that what it's called great scale Island guy great sky islands that we are up in the sky yep and we've gone through most of it and uh we still have one last thing though yeah we have to go to the Temple of Time which is down there it's it's that right a big thing okay so and it's already been a a day or so since we've played this and I've already forgotten like 90 of the buttons because there's so many do I just want to walk down there uh you want to head over to head over to those gliders yeah you see the little gliders over there right there lighters there's little things over there so you want to head over there I don't see any gliders that thing oh it's like it's on the ground yeah you want to try to get try to get over there oh you could get up there use Ascend you see oh yeah I said okay I think I remember it let me see if I if I remember right um no I don't so it's this trigger right here the top one yeah yeah there we go and then it shows right here your oh which one you have one okay and then to go through there we go we're going through solid rock yep and then press a that makes sense there you go and now we're up here oh there's that gumball machine yeah that's a different one though like you're gonna miss a chest you were gonna let me walk by it no I was just wondering if you're gonna see it oh I got pants yep finally and now and it has cold resistance it has cold so you you have your cold resistance thing or wearing off right now oh yeah but if you equip the pants okay it's a plus oh yeah right and then equip them I'm so glad you're here then there now you have like cold resistance instead of like using so once this runs out then you'll be fine up you'll find oh good yeah let's see three two let's give me a warning yeah zero you'll be fine we're not dying and then look that's your temperature so when it's not in the blue oh these are fine we're okay yeah oh down here in the bottom corner yep we moved our faces over to the left so we didn't cover up the map yeah okay you can see it yeah I can see it hey here's our friend yeah we're big ears okay and here's one of the little gliders it's just sitting here this looks cool do I get to keep it uh well before you do that you should go up to the gumbo machine because every is it up there yeah use your Ascend okay right here yeah okay and then every time you use the gumball machine like sometimes it dispenses something out like something different oh for you to use okay oh so there's another glider you go into your inventory okay and then you go to the yeah oh those things no no these things no no the these things right here oh that's right the Zone I charge not you oh you just hey what the what am I doing hold it hold it yep okay and that holds five of them and keep going okay and then press B so when I used it what did that do it fills up your battery oh more so it like charges your battery okay but it auto like it charges automatically but it just charges it faster okay so if you need it yeah see here comes the gumballs there we go anything good so yeah you got the wings so that you got the glider oh that's just sitting there on the ground then you got more fans fans Wings More Wings flamethrower oh those are my favorite all right and then is that good yeah so then go down I have more of those things you don't need to use them right okay uh you can use them on a different gumball machine that might dispense something else yeah okay so go just go down to the floor where the gliders are yeah the ones yeah okay and then you want to attach the fans to them and then you want to use them to get to the top oh you can make a plane yeah maybe just attach one just one yeah okay so so I gotta open up the inventory yep get to the fan right here right yep okay take it out and then just press B I just need one right yeah look at that okay now to change your abilities you hold it down hold it down Ultra hand Ultra hand and then we move it to there I did it okay and then we're gonna attach this just to the back right there yeah yeah there we go yes and if I click if I hit it was it gonna take off yeah and I gotta jump on it well kind of you you hook it up so put it on the railing you see the little rails no the little green things yeah those are the rails or go on that's one because there's not one though it's like this yeah so put it right in the middle then it's gonna just kind of start moving no it's gonna attach I don't want to attach it oh right here yeah if you just press B it won't attach oh okay so if I just drop it yeah so jump on it now jump on it yeah okay okay now hit it oh now I can hit the thing hit the thing like that yeah I'm gonna I'm gonna it's stuck what happened I wonder why it's stuck oh it's stuck because it's getting stuck on the fan you gotta put it on the rails right here and drop it and then we'll get in yeah hit it um hit it again put it more in the center okay okay that worked yeah okay then we're going to grab it there's so many buttons okay okay there right right about here yeah okay and now we're gonna drop it and we're gonna get on it then hit it we're gonna hit it now we're gonna take off well it's gonna start stand on the back of it because it tilts so if you stand on the back it'll go oh and then it goes up and then if you stand in the front then that's cool oh I'm running out of battery where are we going you just try to get to the temple yeah it's diving what's going down if I go left there's a turn yeah it does no way and then you're gonna run out so we're gonna go I kind of want to jump in the water we're gonna or just Glide we're gonna go way past I'm gonna need to jump yeah jump into the water that's not good okay now you want to get to a lily pad because yes to a lily pad is that one too far away no just go to that one yeah you got that one you can Dash to it if I Dash it it'll be okay yeah [Music] okay we made it yes finally is my hand gonna work this time better look it worked opening that's a big door there's a massive door oh look at all the gears that's cool the closed door complete yes and then what's this oh it looks like a big giant tear yeah Sam in it oh who's that oh yeah check my hand yeah but my hand isn't real I don't know why she's floating her tears Shining she didn't have those tears before did she well on her cheeks she oh no this is she has all this makeup on but she didn't have before yeah and like her clothing too it's completely different she's giving him more power it is colliding flying no it's like blue it's an Infinity Gauntlet The Infinity Gauntlet from Marvel yeah but that what it's like it because he like got a tear he got like a stone oh really is that what happened yeah yeah what is it though you'll see you'll see foreign object's movement until it goes back to where it was you can stop the reverse movement at any time recall yeah ah yes so if you uh say you have a flying machine and it flies off of a cliff yeah and you lost it yeah you could just and you can just bring it back yeah when you press recall it freezes time or you could just click on it or maybe if you have a boat and and yeah and it blows away and you don't get on top on it in time then you can just brings it back that seems very useful yes seriously if you have something really important ah the recall ability the reverse time movement of an object Through Time so am I going to practice it here and Zelda has vanished as well well that's not good well you just saw it's a mystery even to me perhaps it was sort of an echo one that reflects her sheer will that you've now been given this ability no doubt it will prove important hmm okay so I'm gonna use it here yeah go over to the side because you're wanting to get onto the little gear things to get on top oh I gotta reverse it the other way yeah to get on because otherwise you can't it's going the wrong direction yeah so press the thing okay oh you have it equipped oh okay good and then I'm gonna rewind something this thing can I re-call myself back up to that thing no oh [Music] okay let me try again so we're gonna rewind this thing okay now jump onto it we're gonna jump on that button okay and then we're gonna jump onto that yep and then we can stop now you can stop it by pressing yep the other one to this one yep and we're gonna jump jump on that yep and then you want to go all the way up there up to here yep then we can stop it yep Oh that was pretty cool yes I did I did okay you did I did I did it yeah you did okay good prints you could just hold it down oh yeah he doesn't have enough power was that because that was happening yeah the store stands a test of your own overall vitality you remain wheat in a weekend State you're not yet strong enough to open it but there is one more Shrine another Shrine from this island there you can get another blessing if you add that to the other blessings you received at the shrines and offered them all to the goddess you might just find your way forward after all let me see the per pen here you go it's my camera nope the prayer pad lets you travel to certain places instantly oh nice now now see all the blue marks on your map you can travel instantly to any of them and suggest I'd suggest the one at the bottom of your map use the travel function to reach that area quickly you'll find the last of those Island shrines around there somewhere so we gotta go find the shrine there okay okay so I can pull out the per pad and then you're on your map what you're on the map or not and then go to the map yeah right and then come down here and then I'm gonna travel there yes travel oh that's so cool I don't have to walk there nope I'm just gonna teleport into Blue Worms yes okay little blue worms like the green worms Oh yeah that go into your glove yeah so you know those little oops so you know these guys you can rewind those things and get up there wait we've been here was this one of the first so this is where we started yeah so whenever wherever you can teleport is places that you've been before and you've been launched oh so you when you use this little door thing right here because that's too far um that's too far to jump so I got to get up higher so I'm gonna use the um teleport we're gonna swim through this rock and we're gonna exit and then we're gonna switch to this guy right now yes there we go and then you could just stop it oh not good wait wait wait that's not good just press pause it pause it press pause all right I mean sorry I mean recall like when you press recall it pauses time oh okay we'll try that again their ability is called recall this that thing yeah recall oh this thing yeah okay okay now pass it again nope yeah see pause this time oh so it just fully pauses it just when you get into that mode yeah that's cool did I do it right yeah no no you're good am I not supposed to go anywhere else or I'm supposed to go over here right yeah oh here we go we found it yep yeah no it's not oh that's a guy yeah yes final Shrine this is the final one of the training yeah oh so this is the final I'm gonna get a final power from this and actually I have all of those squares filled up no you get the squares filled up later oh okay those are other abilities you actually don't get one from here but durability from here is recall like you use recall for this in this oh for this one okay and then um this is going to give us more light though towards strength to yeah so usually they'll give you more light so you can get another heart to open the blue okay yeah cool I'm guessing that we're gonna do that don't use it yeah yeah we're gonna wait till we get on it here and and I should um I should I should I can't get up I can't get up no so much it's so challenging this game is so challenging the water is my worst enemy yep okay look I'm dead okay we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna jump onto it why didn't I jump I thought I could just walk people jump right and then we're gonna do this guy yeah and then do it on this thing if you have it selected just up here oh that's right and then I can see what it is so now we're recalling to get back in I promise I'll get better I promise yeah yes you will yeah okay there we go we did oh and I got the even the little Zelda noise now if you just keep going straight so we're gonna do the same thing on that one and we're gonna jump onto it we're gonna do this faster like that and then just stay up and we stay on it oh it even gives you a path of where it's going is that right yep it looks like it's got a little bounce right here too yeah underwater there we go do we have enough to get all the way over yeah you're good yes so you can choose to either go over there and get the chest what's in it I can't remember I don't think it's worth it but I mean you could just do it oh there's a little delay that's cool so it gives you time to get on it okay I need to get over it pass I'm getting all right yeah you are I feel like I know what I'm doing you need those okay good yeah sometimes sometimes I don't I feel like I know what I'm doing and then sometimes I do something like that where I just opens in the chest fast yes good job okay nothing up here nope yeah I'm just checking try to figure out how this one works I'll give you like oh that was a something that happened that's gonna be like scissors that's gonna cut me do you understand it give me a second [Music] who knows I could go through it you did it what that I don't even know what happened they're both important you rewinded one of them so they like went at the same time and the the gate would open when they crossed paths oh does that make sense so they're both turning at the same time to open they're going like opposite directions so then when they like hit each other oh they both were touching when they're aligned when they're aligned it opens the gate so then you paused it and then you made it so they both went the same oh the same direction when they're together yeah oh that was that's cool I'm still confused but I think I think I understand yeah you reversed one of them so it like kept with it so they were together yeah so they came together and because they're going opposite I remind one so that they would go together yes okay I got it we're gonna skip this so we can get the light and we need to push that door open and then we can get to the ground or was that what happens next no did you just spoil it no you don't no you don't you actually go higher in the sky there you don't we're gonna get out of this guy I have a feeling all right we're gonna skip the light blessing yes we're back and I bet I can figure something out here we're gonna teleport back up to the light to the top you can't teleport to away to there I gotta go here yeah you can teleport there because it's closer okay these blue things so whenever just whenever you open up to such a checkpoint yeah whenever you open up a shrine then it gives you a chance it's a little quicker way to get there yeah okay and we're trying to get back over there [Music] I don't know I'm getting this garbage yes nice goodbye I don't want that wooden stick well there was a thing over there no there is a guy over there yeah but whenever you kill it whenever you take out an enemy yeah you they drop something oh always okay gotcha so we dropped the bow ready is it down oh there it is there you go how did you see that well he since he was holding a bow then I'll drop it [Music] which one's recall that one yeah nice good job you did it yeah oh look and then it's glowing yeah I have enough yes I have enough power you have conquered the shrines and claimed their light of blessing in exchange for four lights of blessing I'll Grant you power container hmm do I get another heart I should cry on your power you seek that is a cool heart yes we should draw that we should draw that do you think that would be cool I should have taken a picture of it that's a hard container yep that's what it's called we should draw a heart container okay boom Boop go and bring peace to the world you can pray yeah that's cool let's push this thing open gonna hold it down yeah there we go it uses Hearts that's why you needed an extra heart yeah but because you like clicked it before it just you just put touched it and then like goad and then it started the cutscene wow that is a lot of Hearts yeah link is so cool he's even cooler with this glowing blue hand yeah I wonder if he's gonna ever give it back to him I know I see you have managed to open the door you haven't fully recovered yet but that is to be expected you're almost Beyond saving by visiting the shrines and receiving Their Blessings mitigated some of the corruption's effects though our time together has been brief so happy that we finally met [Music] you are exactly as Zelda said it kind of looks like a llama it does look like a llama some type of like on everything I can animal no it is up to you oh no he's leaving no no don't go we need you buddy hey buddy oh he's gone so sad yeah it's just you yep we did it yes we did it now we gotta figure out what next to do we just jump yep go down there go down do I just keep going down and then use the send Ascend okay uh directly up yeah to remember where the powers are yeah but send this up you're going up yep okay and then we don't need to go backwards we're gonna go this way and drop down there and Ascend again yeah you had to get close to the edge we I'm guessing we're gonna go to that glowing thing yeah [Music]
