MASSIVE PROBLEM! THIS C63 AMG JUST ARRIVED!

c63 amg massive massive bucket list car of mine this is i've never actually driven one before and i have just recently bought my bmw m5 composition which you know i've now committed to that car that's my new car but literally on the same day that i agreed to buy the m5 i got a message from one of my subscribers uh ashley and he said calvin i want to sell my c63 amg v8 by turbo uh four-door saloon and uh yeah it's been tuned as well so in this video we're gonna have a little look around it i am gonna go for my first drive in this car and um i don't know let you know my thoughts on it [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] come on [Music] right so yeah c63 amg w 205 4 liter by turbo this car is not uh an s model the s model's got i think they've got about 500 brake horsepower they've got about 575 580 a little bit of tower uh behind me there i've got my bmw m4 cs which i am still daily driving uh because my m5 that i just bought has just gone off to the body shop to get the front bumper painted and i've got the mirror caps uh repainting as well just a few stone chips what's tidy up uh so yeah i am still david driving that absolutely love it uh but obviously a c63 is a competitor of the m4 but the m4 being the cs is a lightweight car it's a bit more it's actually worth quite a lot more money than the c63 believe it or not uh the value on the c63 currently is about 35 000 pounds and then the m4 even being a categorized car is 10 grand more than that so uh what we'll do now so i've got the car running is uh let me just show you what this thing sounds like because it sounds like a bloody monster yeah it's just a bloody beast in it so amg have kind of got that thing about their name that you just expect that from an amg like why do other manufacturers teams they seem to get away but the m4 does not sound anywhere near as good as the c63 granted this has got a v8 under the bonnet but uh they are compared cars in the motoring world and that just sounds unbelievable in comparison to it no i don't know what i don't dislike the sound of the m4 but that sounds ridiculous isn't it so uh power level so this is obviously a stage one tuned car i think they achieve about 570 horsepower at stage one power and i have been for a very brief drive in it those that follow me on instagram would have seen that on my story uh about a week ago and uh yeah it was a very brief driving thought i need to do a proper video on this car so uh let's quickly go for a little wander around let me talk about the qualities all the bits the character that's standing out to me on the outside of this car very very good looking thing for like for a four-door family saloon they're a very good-looking car uh this car's got a full carbon fiber pack on it so it's got the carbon fiber front splitter uh the plate is the previous owners plate so that will come off it's actually a 2016 car to come out in 2014 and they then facelifted them in 2018 i think the main difference was front bumper headlights and the steering wheel effective ones are really nice but they are a hell of a lot more money and then as we come around the sides we've got this carbon fiber side skirts i really like them these wheels are definitely my preferred wheel option like if i was to ever buy one of these cars myself they are the exact wheels that i want uh this car is sitting nice and low as well not too low don't look too like stupid but it does sit really really nice and they are actually 20-inch wheels when i first looked at them are they the standard wheel size flat car and they are apparently the standard wheel size for that car so yeah they look massive for the car suppose because it is lowered that does highlight the size of the wheels now as you come around the rear um before we come around the rear actually look at the roof full panoramic glass sunroof loved that literally loved that if i was getting one of these cars i'd have to have that i talk about it all the time the m cars generally don't come with sunroofs uh purely because they've got a carbon roof so i think that's a a fair uh outweigh decision there by bmw uh the bottom splitter which i've just mentioned it's got that fallen one style really light i love that man love it just it just seems to go well with an amg as well just got that real aggression to it uh just rolling with that amg badge that we've got on the back now these badges have obviously been finished in black as well like that the whole black and silver theme going on really really like that and then we've got a carbon fiber rear spoiler at the top there which i also really like had this five series coming looks nice um and then is that it for the outside tinted windows just yeah just a real nice look should we have a quick look under the bonnet that's like the masterpiece on this car the four-leaf v8 bi-turbo engine uh with the turbos sat in the middle of the v uh let's have a quick look there it is yeah so you can see the turbo stick bang in the middle of the video i'm sure there's some logic about making them run hot i've got no idea i'm not too technical in that department but it all looks very nice under here by that bit of moss let's get rid of that that's a very annoying bit of moss in it everything else looks lovely and clean under there though but even to try and fit that big engine under the bonnet of that car like it doesn't if you look at the size of the front end of this car it doesn't you wouldn't expect there'd be a big v8 under there but they've pulled it off congratulations amg so if we go on the inside uh this being an honest car i don't know if the sport seats were available as an option uh this car didn't come with a sports seat so i don't know if they were only available and yes i actually i'm not too sure if i was getting one i would have to have the sports seats but these things are supposedly a lot more comfortable in the sports seat so we'll assess the comfort of them when we go for a driving in a sec this car's done 40 000 miles which you might just be able to see up on the instrument cluster there if my camera decides to wake up there we go 40 000 miles good mileage gloss black inserts very premium feel to the interior i think amg do a great job of interior as well they did at this point in time going forwards earlier than this uh the earlier c63 i did feel like uh there's definitely lacking a bit of class uh but these ones they did seem to nail it so what we'll do now is there anything else i want to talk about burn monster sounds and door speakers look at them very very nice yeah let's go for a drive what annoys these things make now uh when i first drove the w204 c63 amg the earlier cars and i mentioned the interiors the finish is probably not modern enough for my liking but put that to one side a minute because the way them cars drive is absolutely brilliant if i if i was able if i could bring myself to actually hang on to a car uh for the rest of my life that would be one of them cars i say one of them there's lots of others i would hang on to if i could but that would definitely be in my forever garage because i love them cars w204 cz3 amg that 6.2 litre v8 naturally aspirated engine i literally it's amazing now they're 450 brake horsepower like that these are a bit more than that from factory i suppose they are a bike turbo that may just look like he was going to pull out there that's it maybe it's just my luck in videos i don't know uh but yeah straight away after driving this like my initial reaction to the power listen to the crackles man the power delivery is a lot more low in power obviously you'd expect that because it's a wide turbo but it's just savage man traction control is just blinking at me uh let's just try and work out to turn it off down there press and hold that there we go uh it's a damn day today so traction control kind of needs to be off because otherwise it should be trying to kick in the whole time as it slips but you know what that's putting peril down really well considering like bear in mind guys this is a real drive car the e63 amg obviously the the car up from the c63 they are a full drive and if you get the s that's a switchable system so you can switch it from four wheel to rear drive which is amazing now uh the back end is a little bit sketchy but it ain't too bad fear of a battle there with a throttle pedal just slightly just on and off on and off just to keep the traction on the ground but yeah it's a seriously quick car as you can imagine these bumps i've got to be careful over these bumps because uh i do not want to catch that front split it's very very low on the front end of this car now you're probably thinking calf are you going to be selling your own m5 now m5 now and uh keeping hold of the c63 i i just don't have that urge right now i'll be honest i don't know why there's nothing that's putting me off of this car but i am loving that m5 like it's just it's just a bit more of a daddy's car you know i mean it's a bit of a beast of a i don't know is that a beast even in a fair word this is a beast of a car but i just like the fact that these are just oh [Music] i just like the fact that the uh m5 is just a bigger car loads more room little bit more luxury inside like not said that this isn't luxurious inside but i just think the m5 just offers me a bit more obviously price points like they're almost incomparable anyway because the m5 is a hell of a lot more money wait i just want to quickly touch on the weight subject to these cars my sort of initial feeling is it does feel quite heavy it feels very light on the throttle pedal because then it responds really well but it does feel i cannot use the word sluggage it does not feel sluggish but it does feel a bit weighty uh i just had a quick look at the weight difference between this and the m4 cs which is 500 brake horsepower for those that don't know so this is uh running quite a bit more power than that but the difference in weight is about 130 kilos i think these are about 720 kilos whereas the m4 cs is uh about 1580 kilos of thing so uh that definitely does give you that sort of lightweight feeling when you're driving there but the savageness that an amg offers you is a different league so let me quickly uh just stop here we are going to do draggy times and honestly how quickly this does 2079 let's do that now you're never getting bored of them i are but what a car man like i say all the time about amg they seem to do such a good job of combining that sort of practical family saloon or family daily car with just a savage sports car feel to it like they're just they're just amazing and even the noise and everything they're just such a good all-round package and uh i have just done obviously the draggy times and i've done a good few runs i've found myself sort of being really careful the throttle sort of first into seconds and then at one end of the second gear you can fully flat so there is definitely a bit of attraction history but then from second onwards you are getting full traction which is quite impressive really considering the power but instead of going into the rear wheels so uh the best time i've done was 4.05 seconds so that puts it slightly quicker than the w204 the tuned one that i've done a video on a couple of weeks ago and uh not quite as quick i don't think as a lds-3 saloon but obviously the s3 saloon is a four-wheel drive car so you've got no traction issues there until you literally just flat the throttle gun it and go whereas you can't you can almost do that with this but you can't fully do that with it so there's a little bit of a defending point i think to that time on the c63 but this this car overall i keep saying it's absolutely amazing uh you've got switchable driving mode so throughout this journey i've been doing driving it in sports plus so that does give the exhauster a slightly slight change in sound i've also been driving it in manual mode the whole way uh because i just prefer to manually shift and the way it shifts of course is via the paddles on the back of the steering wheel there which are very neat looking paddles i don't think they're they don't look like they can be changed but i don't think you'd ever want to change them anyway i know i've previously swapped my paddles out on my bmw's over the past with like carbon fiber ones and stuff but yeah these are very nice paddles so yeah man c63 amg like i said earlier i don't think i'll be rushing to put my m5 upsell for an amg not anytime soon it is definitely a car that i'll get in my life as my own daily car at some point soon but for now i'm very happy with getting five but one thing i will say about these cars is as i was filming it earlier uh back at bing car we got we've got an audi rs3 parked there up for sale lovely car very nice things 2016 car as well please done similar miles to this i think that's about 31 000 pounds so that's a little bit less money for it than this but they are in the same sort of price point and i just look at these cars and i do think this looks like a 40 plus thousand pound car i think they are they're good value for money i think that's what they have got going from they literally tick every single box and they ain't too much money me personally if i'm spending saw 30 to 35 000 pounds on a car i would much prefer to have this over an rs3 like i like rs3s they're just a lot of money for what they are and i feel like value for money is a key factor when when you're looking for a car uh i suppose you've got the the running cost of a v8 with this car but they're just yeah they're just something that i think every petrol head needs to get their hands on at some point in their life so uh yeah first impressions are it's just as mental and savage as i expected and i do feel like it'll be a car that i would definitely definitely own and keep at some point in my life but
