Massey ferguson 231

it's nothing I just got my uncle called me and said that his tractor was knocking which isn't a good sign and I said you can get it over here so we told it over here and we're gonna go take a look at it so let's look okay so it is a massy 231 with a 232 loader on it it's actually really really good shape it's kind of a shame that the engine started to nod I took a look a little bit earlier and there's a real problem see the oil pan has a crack in it and it goes up into the block a little bit so connecting rod let go or something pretty major so it is 2:30 to loader is a quick attached loader so you pull these pins either side and what you do is use your lifting cylinders and this comes off and then this is your stand which will stand on the ground and hold the loader up the issue is I can't run the tractor so we're gonna have to try to crank it over and pull hydraulic leavers to get the weight off these pins so basically what I'm gonna do is curl the bucket down just a little bit and see them into the saddles so I can pull the pizza 3 now the pins are tight cuz it's hanging forward so let's give this drive so I have the fuel shutoff pulled out and I'm gonna push on the lever tilt the bucket forward while I create now that the weight is pulled back into the saddle I pull my clips out and pull a pin Oh to both sides so we'll do the other side that one's a little easier and this process is so much easier when the tractor is running but as you can hear it when it's actually banging away that's the connecting rod hittin my oil pan so III don't definitely don't want to start it but I do have to get the loader off okay so now what you would do is probably start it up and back out of that little bit while you curl the brace down so it'll sit on the ground I can't start it so that ain't happening so I'm gonna try to work my way off and then curl it down so it's safely on the ground you see at the back normally they give you enough slack if you doubt that the Lord can still be operated while it frees the front of the tractor I think we're almost there I think I can just drop it off now is actually sitting on the ground so this is awesome you normally would try to crank it that this is 90 degrees straight down but I will take what I got so these are the loader lines we just got a disconnect the loader lines and fish them through and we are free fighting okay there we go the tractor is free of the loader so now I just gotta get the tractor back a little bit farther at the 231 massey ferguson freeloader i'm gonna put it in my garage the blotch it's gonna be a bit of a process and i am my grudges full of garbage I ain't garbage day is tomorrow so tomorrow after work we'll get this in the garage this not running things a lot of work that is all I have planned for today I'm gonna go in the dinner tomorrow night though we're gonna start getting the tractor in the rest of the way and split it so you guys have a good
