purpose to do in and through your life now first and foremost i send greetings from our pastors pastor teray roberts and pastor sarah jakes roberts and i'm just honored to bring this word on this very day and so family just have an expectation for god to turn things around in your life you know we hear about the words that talk about how god will turn your mourning into dancing that the very thing that the time in your life that brought so much sadness and tears that it would he will turn it around to a time of celebration family i'm truly excited because i've been heavy for days and i couldn't discern i'm like god initially i couldn't discern them like god what is this to the point that i was on the phone with a friend of mine and i just broke out in tears and i'm like i can't even explain to you why i am crying right now and in the place of prayer and i began to ask the lord what is this really connected to because there is just this weight that i feel has dropped upon me and i can't seem to shake it off but what i understood is that there is literally and i don't know who you might be or how many of you might be listening to this and i also acknowledge the month we're in right it's may mental health awareness month but i kept seeing this what i was sensing was what so many people were dealing with and that there's some of you that maybe you're feeling like you're in this space where you're just like god i'm done i'm done with what this earth has to offer i don't want to do this anymore i don't know if i'm the pro i don't know if i'm as equipped as i thought i was and god sent me today to bring a message that would bring restoration and resurrection inside of you and so i'm truly excited because i can see the fruit on the other side i can see the fruit of what god has purpose to do in your life and i can see a mirror just being presented before you that you will begin to see yourself not through a broken glass not through a cracked mirror but you will see yourself the way god sees you he knows everything about you he knows every season that you would ever go through and he says my child i am with you your life will not be marked by sorrow your life will not be marked by tears your life will not be marked by disappointment but your life will be marked by purpose it will be marked by his purpose i kept hearing this statement as i was praying that you would know you would see not only would you see the goodness of god in your life but you would recognize that your life is actually marked by the promises of god being fulfilled one after the other because it is his purpose to do that which he said the word of god tells us that god is not man that he shall lie nor the son of man that he should repent when he gives you a promise he stands by it and he fulfills it because it's all connected to what he said about you your life would be marked by purpose i want you to write that down wherever you are wherever you're listening to this message whatever part of the country you're in write it down that my life you can even put your full name will be marked by the purpose of god family i'm excited i wanted to just even go and just pray over this moment before we get into the word heavenly father we thank you we thank you lord for your goodness we thank you lord for your love we thank you for your mercy we thank you for your grace we thank you lord that there are things that we sh we do deserve but we don't even that doesn't happen to us because of your mercy and there are things that we don't deserve and lord god you give it to us so freely because of your grace we thank you heavenly father that you are a good god you set things up in a way that we would always have everything that we need lord who would we be without you and so heavenly father we just acknowledge you right now in this space that you would have your way and i decree and declare that lord you would have the final say in the lives of your sons and your daughters that the enemy would not snatch anyone out of your hand oh god you will have the final say in their lives in jesus mighty name hallelujah family while we're still in this space i just want you um just to join with me as we read the word i'm going to be reading from two verses as we start john 17 4 and john 19 30. so john 17 4 says this and this is jesus speaking this is jesus when he has come to the point where he's like yeah the hour has finally come the hour has come that i will go on to the cross and everything that we know that the cross represents that the cross actually represents the victory of our lord right it was not the defeat it was his victory because on the cross the bible tells us that he led captivity captive everything that could ever keep you bound everything that ever had the power to do so he broke the power of the enemy he led captivity captive what was trying to keep you captive he took it into captivity on the cross we have the testimony and now we are in a place where we have relationship intimate relationship with our father we have intimate relationship with the lord we have the holy spirit we have access to the holy spirit who now lives within us that when we say lord jesus i believe that you are the son of god that you died for my sins that because of you i can have life and life more abundantly the holy spirit finds out our our our our body as a temple that the holy spirit comes within us jesus said that i will send you another helper and all along he was referring to the holy spirit who will dwell in you it's so beautiful so the cross when jesus was getting ready to go to the cross he says this and i actually encourage everyone to study john 17. it is such a beautiful um just beautiful verses because you know we hear a lot about jesus praying and different things like that but you actually read when he prayed for himself when he prayed for his disciples and when he prayed for believers you read the words that he said it is such a powerful scripture but in john 17 4 this is when jesus is praying now concerning himself and he says this i have glorified you on the earth and he's talking to the father god i have glorified you on the earth i have finished the work which you have given me to do i have glorified you on the earth i have finished the work which you have given me to do you see jesus represents a model a model for each and every one of our lives he didn't just his life was never random his life was marked by purpose that there was a work that he was called to finish and in this moment he could say i have finished it because everything that would lead up to the cross he has already done it and he was in a place of total submission so even he could see the cross being accomplished even before he went on it because he was fully submitted to the will and the purpose of god and that's why later on just a few chapters over in john 19 30. now this is him on the cross right before he gives up the spirit he says so when jesus had received the sour wine he said it is finished and bow in his head he gave up his spirit jesus i have finished the work that you have given me and then he echoes it again on the cross it is finished you see family your life has a work that you are called to finish your life has a purpose that you are called to accomplish when we see the life of jesus like i said he didn't live a life of randomness jesus lived a life of precision because jesus understood that there is a purpose on my life he came with the full awareness of his assignment even when jesus was hidden he was still in purpose you know sometimes we think that oh wow his ministry yes his ministry started at 30 but his purpose started the moment he arrived on this earth his life was marked by it we sometimes think that when we're in seasons of maybe being hidden when we're in seasons when no one sees what we bring to the table that it's like god where are you i just want to start i want to do the thing you've called me to do not recognizing you're already in it you see when you think about a woman like a pregnant woman she experiences her child ever before that child is born when the child is growing and the child starts kicking and moving and doing all kinds of things you see how the there's some music that you play the child responds to it they get excited she experiences that child the child is hidden to the world the child is hidden what that child looks like and all of that is hidden to the world but it doesn't change her experience and knowledge of her child and then when that child is born he comes into another realm of now being revealed to the world when you're hidden you are known by god when you're hidden god sees everything about you he knows who you are he knows where you are and he knows what you need when it feels like no one else can see you don't no one else sees you god sees you and he says in due time i will reveal you but whatever i've called you to do it doesn't start when you have a stage it doesn't start when all the conditions in your life seem to be met it starts in that place that looks like a cave it starts in that place that looks like god am i in this by myself it starts in this hidden place because you are never alone because the lord is with you and what i love about when god is the one hiding you is because god is actually developing you we've talked about these things about what happens in the waiting season and how god is actually using this time to mature you because just like the woman when she gives birth her child is revealed to the world but when god releases you some of you you've just been waiting like men lord you know especially in the times that we live in we live in a culture in a social media culture that's driven by being seen everything is about who saw it to the to the point that we don't even enjoy experiences anymore right you're out with friends and before you even do something i'm guilty of this too that we are more sometimes more concerned about how good the photo looks than the very moment that i'm in that it's like no we got to get the perfect photo so that we could post it and people could see that i'm experiencing this but after the photo is taken we may go back to our phones not even interacting with each other but in the photo we look like we are having the time of our lives have you ever been a photo where you had to fake laugh he said hey everyone okay this is the laughing one but in real life y'all ain't laughing at nothing so this world where we're in a culture that is so driven by everyone needs to see this i can't be in kaaba without people knowing on the ground that i'm out here in kabul and there's nothing wrong with that but when that starts to control your life and control every aspect of your life like you gotta see me so what happens when you don't feel seen what happens when you feel like i'm doing everything it takes to be seen and it just looks like no one everyone is ignoring me now we find ourselves in this state of depression and feeling like god i don't want to do this anymore i don't want to be here anymore but no the hidden place is where god matures you he develops you that's the place where you grow and you have endurance you have tenacity that you you understand what patience means that you're not just looking for this fast-paced life that you've been built you you have roots attached to you so that when god launches you in the world you will not be consumed by the lost and the greed of this life you will not be consumed by the lies of this world you see i love it even when jesus was praying for his disciples there was something that he said that i loved so much this is in john's is still john 17 but this goes into verse 15 to 15 to 17 and he says i do not pray that you should take them out of the world but that you should keep them from the evil one they are not of the world just as i am not of the world sanctify them jesus says separate them by your truth and that your word is truth i love that so much because jesus is saying look this these people they're not in the world they're in the word but they're not of the world and when he's praying to the father because jesus is also going to go to the father but the holy spirit will be with them he says this to them that says this about praying for them that father do not take them out of the world because there is still a purpose on their lives there is still something that i have called them to accomplish in this time do not take them out of the world but keep them from the evil one when we think about being kept from the evil one we think it just sometimes is it this boogie monster no but being kept from the evil one it's not just the temptation that he brings but it's also the lies that he whispers because when you begin to know who you are in god then the whispers of the enemy proceed and it says you can't do that you're not the one for the job who are you who's going to listen to this why are you working on that movie project this is the first time you've ever written anything why are you wasting your time he says keep them from the evil one because you have been sent here to bring to influence this world and not be influenced by it when you find yourself going through this moment of great disappointment what we don't recognize is that that disappointment that is taking over our peace is actually the result of the world influencing us that oh just because this did not happen now i have allowed it to disrupt my peace i have allowed it to take away from me something that the lord said i have my peace i give to you not as the world gives do i give it but how do we feel robbed from our peace when the world begins to influence us when what looks like the culture of this life we feel like god if it doesn't if i'm not living in a way that looks like that and then i'm not happy i'm not satisfied so when jesus hides you when the lord hides you he says let me develop you let me mature you because there is a purpose and a call on your life that you have been sent into the world for you see this this phrase is so interesting because when you think about it just from a very practical sense you're like okay we're not of the world but we are in the world but we were we're here like god what are you talking about right it could sound like is this christianese but the reality is that your life started with god he said to a prophet named jeremiah he said jeremiah before i formed you i knew you and before you were born i sanctified you the same word when jesus said sanctify them by your truth sanctify them by your word he said i set you apart jeremiah and i called you and then the lord begins to reveal to jeremiah his calling i called you as a prophet to the nations your life did not start here it started with god and it will continue with him life did not start here that does not start here neither does it end here you know one of the things that i recognized during the height of the pandemic i recognized how even there were many people that were going live on instagram and there was this deep panic and i it was like a fear not even really a fear of dying but a fear of what happens when we die i kept seeing people talking about like who am i going to be in the in the in my next life and it was just this panic i'm like bruh are you are you afraid you're going to be a chicken or you're afraid of what comes next but when i saw that what i what i also recognized it was the void of knowledge that your life did not start here because when you think that your life started here then it's like if it ends here what happens next but your life started with god i even recall there was a there was a gentleman he was on live and he was just in this place of really feeling distraught and he's like you know i don't even know who i'm going to be in the next life or the next world and he was talking about deja vu deja vu experiences as though deja vu experiences meant that he had lived many lives i don't know if that's how you have felt before but i'll share with you something this is not even connected to this but i'll share it maybe it could be but i'll share with you something that the lord taught me even about deja vu moment as it relates to purpose because many of us have experienced it right where you find yourself doing something and then it is like it dawns on you like wait i've been here before i've done this exact thing before and if we're honest it's never something grand deja vu moments are not really connected to like when there's this huge thing happening in your life it's like you're walking into a grocery store and you're like wait i've like i've done this exact thing wearing this outfit i saw this person like i've been here before it's you buying some pineapples it's like a very random it's some of the most random moments in life that you have this deja vu moment but here's what deja vu moments actually speak to even as as i'm speaking about purpose because you see just as god said to jeremiah jeremiah before i formed you i knew you and before you were born i ordained you a prophet to the nations jeremiah i've already seen your life i've already seen everything about who you are what you've been called to do the people that will be in your life the things that you will build i've seen it all the bible talks about how god has already fashioned each day of our lives before we ever lived in one of them he said i've seen it all he is the beginning and it i mean there is really no end but if you could have an idea of an end it is god he is everything and he said i have seen all of your life and so deja vu moments actually speak to the knowledge of god it is when god chooses to share his knowledge of you with you for you to recognize that even though you may feel like your life is random right now even though you may feel like your life doesn't have any meaning right now it is actually on schedule this random thing you're doing is not random at all you are actually where i purposed you to be you are on schedule that's why many times you experience deja vu moments especially when you're questioning yourself a lot about life when you're questioning like god what is next for me what what is it that you've called me to do in this season and you get you find yourself maybe even going through anxiety or depression and then randomly you have a deja vu moment and god is actually sharing his knowledge with you he says my son my daughter you are not far from my side this day right now is written in the books you are not as you're not even you're not as uh you think you're out of alignment but you're actually still in my plan purpose being marked by purpose and so when we're talking about the things that god has called you to do family no one can take that away from you unless you have a different perspective about your life god is saying this very moment you're in right now it's in my books this very thing you're doing right now that you feel that is void of any form of purpose it is actually in my books i have record of this you're hidden but you're not hidden from me you may feel like you're hidden from the world but you are not hidden from me i'm doing something beautiful in you because family when you see that life starts with god you are not worried about what happens after we die or any of that you recognize that this moment that we have right now this in-between moment that we call our experience on earth that it has an assignment there is an assignment connected to it it is not random and i do not even have the authority to choose to end that assignment i kept having this heaviness that there's some of you watching and you feel heavily suicidal because you feel like there's nothing there's no purpose connected to your life and i am here to remind you that your life is still on track do not end what god said like my son my daughter there are great and mighty things i want to do through you don't confuse being hidden from people as being hidden from me don't confuse being hidden from the world as being hidden from truth you are still on track you see when you get to know god when you focus that you know what i am the the all this time that i'm allowing the enemy to take over my mind and take over my thoughts and making me feel like i'm inadequate why don't i actually spend that time knowing the lord you see in the book of john jesus talks about what eternal life actually means and he says eternal life is about knowing the lord it's about knowing the father and knowing jesus christ he even talks of himself in third person because just like i said your life didn't start here it doesn't end here you are in eternity right now but now the difference is are we in eternal life or are we in the opposite of that because eternal life is about knowing god and the beauty is that when you commit your life to knowing god you would know yourself because in him he will begin to reveal the mysteries about what you were called to do on this earth it has always been about this beautiful partnership with the father when you go all the way back to the even to the book of genesis and you look at what was happening in the garden of eden right when it talks about how god made all these things he fought everything he god created everything but then when he created it he brought in his partner he said you know what now let man be responsible to manage this i create and you steward and there is something about when you are a steward that brings you even deeper into the knowledge of who god is because in that place of stewardship you realize that you are dependent on the one who gave it to you from the first place don't allow the thoughts of the enemy to cloud your mind cloud your judgment commit yourself to saying god if there is one thing i may not know many things about this life i may even feel ignorant about myself but if there is one thing i want to be committed to is knowing you because this is what life is truly about everything we do in the name of god should flow from the place of relationship with him that god i'm not doing this just because i think this is what christians are supposed to do i'm not doing this because i want to be hashtag you know kingdom i'm doing this from the place of knowing you i remember when the lord revealed to me what he called me to do all along i've been living right i was i i encountered god at nine but my commitment was always about him i went through my own ups and downs of you know rebellion and obedience but my heart posture was always really about god i want to grow in knowledge of you but i remember it was years ago i had this dream and in this dream it was so intriguing there was it was like a lot of people in the room and it just reminded me um there's something similar to this like in the book of isaiah when the lord says who shall go for us so in that dream the lord speaks up and he says who shall i send very similar to literally what i've read in the book of isaiah it says who shall i send and who shall go for us and i was like me me me me send me send me send me and then he he calls me out of the is a crowd of of people that he calls me out and then he starts to give me instructions right and he says okay you were going to go in the water at the it was like a it was there was like a sea or something and it's that at the in the at the end of the ocean if you can imagine the ocean having an end right it says at the end of the ocean you're gonna break it and when you break it it's gonna bring you this i'll explain this dream but it would bring you into what was like in the dream hell and it says you will and when you get there there are many candles that you would see but all of them their fire is out when you touch the candle then the fire would come up and he says just grab as many candles as you can during your time there and he said this i will not let any harm come to you and before harm could even come to you i will call you back and i was like boom and so i did exactly that in the dream i found myself in the water i broke through whatever was at the end of the ocean i got into hell and there were all these candles and i start picking them up and the crazy thing is that i picked it up then the fire came on the candle and who the candle belonged to or what the fire represented the person rather that that fire represented will would be drawn to me and then they would go on and do the things that god called them to do so it was like it was just happening in this rapid pace and then all of a sudden words was you know this is the dream was like a movie then word got out and satan found out that i was in hell doing some disruption and then they were telling me they were like oh he's coming for you and i just kept going i kept going i kept going i kept going i was like he can't touch me he can't touch me and until i received an instruction now leave then i left found myself now like on earth right and everybody no matter the languages people spoke we all understood each other and then i now saw where it was like the enemy and this host of demons were coming after me like just like an army and before they could even touch me the lord took me back and i woke up and when i woke up i was like what in the sci-fi movie is this dream but then the lord began to really reveal it to me and he was showing me that similar to the water breaking in the dream that for this reason was i born because you see when a child is born the first the the mother experiences her water being broken and he began to reveal to me that your assignment is to bring my people out of darkness into the kingdom of light there are many vehicles there are many ways that you will do this but this is the core of your assignment that you would bring them out of this place of ignorance because darkness represents many things darkness represents ignorance darkness represents that which satan rules over and he says you would bring them out of that into the kingdom of light and in that place they will begin to function in who i've called them to be that is the place that will be awakened to purpose that is a place that they will do the things that i have i have commissioned them i have empowered them for and so when he revealed this to me i knew that no matter what it looked like whether it was in preaching whether it was content whatever it is that the assignment behind my life is to do this very thing and every single day i am dependent every day that i wake up with breath in my body i say then god this assignment is still on why am i sharing this with you i've never shared this story before at least publicly but then when i was praying the lord kept putting this on my heart even share with them how your assignment was revealed because there is an assignment on your life it is not tied to a title you see i didn't tell you that when god called me he told me that this is the title i'm giving you it was an assignment that this is your purpose this is the thing that i have called you to do there are different ways that this would be expressed you see some of you may feel like the thing that you thought was your purpose because you connected your purpose to a title and because you no longer have that title you feel like god is done with you but family breath is the indicator that your purpose is still on that what god has called you to do has not reached an expiration date do not count yourself i have this message don't count yourself out and maybe if you have not listened to that you need to watch it because do not count yourself out from being a weapon in god's hands on this earth do not count yourself out from the partnership that you would experience with god that would even bring you to a deeper place of the knowledge of god because it is in the place of your calling that you actually experience the strength of the lord it is in the place of your calling that you experience him as great and mighty because you recognize that the very thing he's called you to do is not something you can do on your own it is the place of your dependency anything that requires the very things in my life that god has called me to is what keeps me at his feet the things that i choose to do randomly i don't really feel like some i would be transparent with you those are not things i really pray about because i'm like i figured that out i know how to do this but the things that god has called me to do is what keeps me at his feet because that is the place you also experience him that lord if you are not with me i cannot do this i recognize you have called me because you have seen within me there is capacity for this assignment but that capacity is activated by your presence whatever god has called you to do you have capacity for it but that capacity the recognition that it is truly you is activated by his presence in your life and this is what jesus calls eternal life knowing god family whatever thoughts that may have clouded your judgment i want you to be as committed and even further the same way you have been committed with with with engaging in any form of destructive narrative that you would be committed in engaging in lord who are you i want to know you more because the more i see you the more i see me the more i have an understanding of who i am you know when i was just thinking about this with life and the lord showing me that and and this is still so heavy on my heart and we're going to pray into this because i truly believe whoever you are and you're experiencing this deep level of depression like no one can see you i believe that god is going to do something so miraculous in your life and that you would just you would experience what it means to have the full joy of the lord because even when i was praying there was someone in particular and it was almost like even though you're hearing people say you should do this you should do that and you're just in the space where you're like i can't even afford it but you would experience the healing power of god you will know what it means for god to turn things around in your life that your life will not be marked by sorrow but it would be marked by purpose but as i was thinking about life i thought about the man i said you know what let's talk about life the man who lived the longest ever in the bible and there was a man by the name of methuselah now he lived to be like 969 or something like that years old and that was not like strange there were people that were living you know up to 900 people that lived up to 700. i mean this was before god got tired of us and he said i'm gonna you know i'm cutting down this party but this man that lived the longest i was so he's someone that has always intrigued me because nothing ever happens um by accident in god's hand right and so when you study him you recognize that his last breath was taken when the assignment of his life was truly fulfilled because when we talk about jesus sometimes we feel like maybe i can't relate to that because it's jesus you know the son of god but this man methuselah his story is so fascinating to me and it's in the book of genesis you have to read it because methuselah his both his birth and his death have so much significance methuselah was born his father's name was enoch enoch if you are familiar with that name he is the one who you know he just the bible says that he walked with god and he was not i mean he just perfectly transitioned into heaven but enoch did not just start walking with god randomly the bible actually tells us that when enoch fathered methuselah he walked with god and he was not there was something about this child methuselah that it brought enoch so deeply into god's presence because to even understand what it means for someone to walk with god and then they were not first of all that tells you that enoch i mean even his his natural body that something that it encountered the glory of god so much so to the point that he did not even need to die to receive a new body because the bible tells us that even when we when we shed of this flesh there is a heavenly body that we receive that is just it is glorious so one of the things one of the reasons why you have the passage of death is that you get rid of this skin and you receive your heavenly body but enoch was so much in the presence of god that he did not even need to go through that transition in his life his his natural body some the glory of god encountered it in a way that he was able to just step into heaven now when i'm saying this you might be like okay what's she talking about now i'll talk to you about moses and i'll go back to enoch when moses would be in the mountain receiving from the lord the bible will tell us that when he was in mount sinai and that what mount sinai was such a remarkable place in moses life i mean that was where we got the ten commandments and so many things but that when moses would come down from the mountain the bible said that his face would was would shine so bright that the people were actually scared to approach him moses did not even realize what was happening to him but then the bible actually tells us that this happened because he spoke with god that when he was in the presence of god that for a moment it even altered his physical nature that his physical nature came in contact with glory and and it was something that the people would see moses and they were scared to approach him so much so that even with moses this i'm going somewhere but even with moses there was a moment when the book of jude satan actually wanted moses's body there was a contentment that between satan and the angel of the lord from moses's body and i've always wondered why was that but you see moses's body carried the glory the reason i'm sharing this is that when i read about enoch walked with god and he was not what that tells me is that enoch spent out of all the years i mean they were living enoch i think died like 900 and something as well but that enoch spent a great deal in the manifest presence of god and my question is what were they talking about what was it about this child that when enoch had this child all of a sudden he was fully committed he was fully in alignment with what god's purpose over him would be but you see methuselah lived every single day the year that he died was the year of the flood the flood when god told noah you might have watched all the movies about noah's ark the flood where god you know ahead of time gave noah a heads up build an ark i'm going to protect you and your family why am i sharing this because even the oldest man on earth before god took his last breath before god transitioned him his life was marked by purpose it is my belief that when enoch had methuselah that there was an encounter that he had with the lord to understand that this child is so symbolic that in the year this child will die would be the year of the flood your life has a purpose and every day that you wake up is because god is sending you a reminder there is more connected to you don't quit on yourself don't argue yourself out of destiny don't argue yourself out of greatness there is more connected to you you see even as we're going to pray i thought about just in my personal time in my personal study time i was reading about the parable of the 10 talent i was over here trying to close this it was not truly close but i was reading about the parable of the 10 talents and something intrigued me so much you know many of you may be familiar with it when it talks about how um there was one person that god gave first of all it talks about how the kingdom of heaven writes a parable it's like the kingdom of heaven is like this it is like a man who is about to travel to a far country and before he does he gathers his servants he gathers his staff there are three of them and he begins to give them talents now talent in this time was equivalent to financial what i mean was equivalent to finances right so they said one he gave five talents another one he gave two talents another one he gave one talent but here is the thing about that scripture that stood out to me he said each according to their ability [Music] the vision that god has given you the dreams that god has given you the family that god has given you the ideas that god has given you it is you having a measure of his wealth because this parable jesus is really talking about himself because when the man gives his staff his treasure his wealth he's sharing with them his wealth and he's entrusting them with it that hey take this and do something with it do something with it that is worthy of me but you know what the wealth of god speaks to his creativity his love his power his wisdom his knowledge this is the wealth of god that is shared with us that idea treated us holy your creativity is not just random because you are a creative your creativity is an expression of the wealth of god that he has entrusted you with and he does so according to your ability according to your capacity there is no idea that god has given you that is not within your ability to accomplish [Music] there is no dream that god has put in your heart that he did just to toy with you no he said it was given according to their ability but like i said this ability and this capacity is activated by the presence of god because we're not here to just get fat and happy everything we are stewards not owners when you treat life like you're an owner of it then you move in a very selfish and manipulative way but when you treat life like you're a steward over it then you recognize that there is someone you are accountable to what did i do with what god has given me what did i do with this idea what did i do with my mind that god has given me what did i do with the creativity that god has given me what did i do with my family all of this speaks to the wealth and the treasures of god that he entrusted to you don't allow the enemy to cloud your judgment don't allow the enemy to put a price that speaks nothing of the value of what you carry don't allow him to cheapen what is invaluable don't allow him to make you feel like you know what this this let me just throw this away let me give it to somebody else because it's in you when god called moses what made him so frustrated with moses every time moses was trying to tell him why he cannot be the one it's because god is looking at the person saying i called you according to what i know is in you that dream that i gave you that film that i told you about that song that i put in you i gave you according to your capacity i know that you can do something worthy with this you know i remember listening to bishop jake say something it was in an interview this was a while ago and he said that many times that the problem that he has seen with chris some christians is that they're praying for god to do things that god does not do and what he was talking about he gave this this example of a person praying god just bless me with a chair give me a chair give me a chair give me a chair and god said but i gave you a tree and i gave you a brain now you got to figure that out that sometimes we're asking god to do the things that he does not do because he has already given you the things that will cause you to manifest what is connected to your life but it is his presence that brings you into the understanding and activation of your capacity there is something about the presence of god that is why if you've ever experienced that you may be feeling down and out but the moment you begin to worship all of a sudden you're you're full of strategy you're full of creativity it's the same you but then all of a sudden you're like no we can do this actually let me get let me call this person let me write this down because all of us because now what in the presence of god your capacity is activated you're like god i'm going after this thing with everything in me you see if there's something that i would advise you to do and it's also what i'm advising myself to do in this season throw yourself at what god has called you to your whole self not parts of you think about it like jumping into a pool you can't say you went swimming if only your foot was in there doing a little wobble to actually say yeah i had a good time having a nice swim all of you was fully immersed in the water throw your whole self at the things god has called you to do and recognize that when he called you he called you according to your ability and it's so beautiful because when you shock yourself with results because many times that's what happens when we have results he's like oh my gosh i really did that you're seeing what god has already known has always known and when you shock yourself with results when he entrusts more into your care is because it's also showing you now your capacity is also expanding it's so interesting because in that parable the one with five talents gave back a hundred fold the one with two gave back a hundred fold but the one with one buried it didn't do anything with it and i wondered why because when you have never allowed yourself to bet on who god says you are you give in to the narrative of the enemy over and over again the one with one had never experienced what it meant to bet on who the version of who god says he is the version of who god says she is and so it's easier to throw in the towel it's easier to say you know what lord you can have this back the same way you gave it to me you could have it back but let this be the time that you change that narrative and you change that story because as you stretch yourself the one with two talents didn't just wake up with two talents he must have had a story where there was something entrusted to him and he knew that okay i'm gonna give this a shot i'm gonna i'm gonna risk something today because even what when you think about oh i don't want to lose i don't want to fail you never lose i love what our pastor says that being that do not confuse losses as make as that as you being a loser that a loss does not make you a loser and it's so simple yet so profound because many times we identify ourselves by the experiences of laws but it's never that because even if you felt like man this was taken what i wanted didn't work out it worked you out it developed you it built something in you it produced a version of you that you had not yet met there is no loss in god but i'm here to remind you you watching this listening to this breathing right now it is a sign that god's hand is still on your life and there is something he has called you to do in this time in this world that would reveal his glory in a very unique way you see we all carry unique expressions of god's glory the way you would do it is not how i could do it and so we need you your breath is a sign that god is in partnership with you over the things that he has purpose to do on this earth even when you think about how we came in to be the father says let us make man in our own image after our own likeness and all this good stuff then he forms the man from the dust of the ground there's a connection there he forms the man the man has a connection to this world but when man began to live was when god breathed into him and he said when god breathed into his nostrils that man became a living soul a living soul you what what gave you life has always been the breath of god and it is the breath of god that reminds you that there is a collaboration here i formed this from the ground i have have need of you on this earth i have need of you in this world i formed you from the ground because there is something i want to do with you here but it didn't start or end here because you only began to live when i breathe into you i released that life into this body let's collaborate let's work together don't end what god is saying hey i am still here i'm with you whatever lies that the enemy is feeding you don't give in to it don't give in to it i don't know who this is for but i see someone you're already planning how to write a suicide no there are things you've already bought and you're planning to do and i'm hearing the lord saying i am still after you i called you before you ever got into this world i knew you i know your name i know what you're doing right now i see everything concerning your life and there is a purpose attached to it and it would reveal me in a mighty way focus on knowing me don't give in to that narrative and i want to pray for you my assignment today is very specific [Music] thank you jesus if you feel like throwing in the towel if you feel like giving up and you might be watching this and that that that's not you then i want you to intercede right now on behalf of our brothers and sisters you see jesus said that i would leave the 99 to go after the one i would leave the 99 if there is one there is one of my sheep that is missing from this flock i would leave the 99 and why would he do that because he knows that they are okay but he says let me return the one that is missing back to this fold if that is not you i want you to intercede in this time and intercede for those who are feeling like they're in a place where they just don't know god i don't know how to take a step further i don't know how to move forward from this place that i'm in god is with you his purpose is still with you god has a plan for your life that will go beyond anything that you have ever imagined your life will be marked by his purpose it will not be marked by tears it will not be marked by confusion it will not be marked by disappointment you see there is a saying that goes in culture check on your strong friends hey strong friend i'm checking on you right now this is a check-in moment how are you doing god sees you god loves you and he sent me to bring this word to you that his purpose for your life is still on you may be hidden but you're not hidden from him focus apply yourself commit yourself to knowing him and you will not be disappointed he would reveal who you are and as he does like i always say believe him because god is not speaking to you outside of what you have the ability to do he's speaking to you because of what you have the ability to do but as you get into his presence you activate that capacity things just start to click it starts to make sense the strategy is made clear before you because of his presence and so family let us pray heavenly father we thank you we thank you lord for what you are doing in the lives of your sons and daughters lord i commit them before you i'm reminded by what you said lord jesus that those that the lord has put in your hand that no one can snatch them away from you lord i'm praying right now for anyone that is feeling suicidal in any way that lord god they will not be snatched out of your hand that the enemy would not have the final say over their lives and the lord god i'm praying for dreams that looks like it is the end ideas that looks like nothing can happen with it that your children would know that you call them actually according to capacity you call them because you saw that it is within them to do everything that you've said about them but i thank you lord that we would give ourselves to your presence we would give ourselves to knowing and growing in the knowledge of who you are because the more we see you we see us the more we see you we believe in what you say about us and so heavenly father i thank you i pray right now for those that don't know you they stumbled on this message a friend invited them to watch lord i thank you that even as you are knocking on the door of their hearts they can't explain it but they're like i need to know this jesus i need to commit my life to him you know what i just thought that this was the a religion the thing that my grandmother used to do the things she used to talk about but i'm experiencing something right now in my heart that i can't even explain that is the holy spirit knocking on your heart sometimes it happens when it just feels like something is burning on your chest sometimes you're overwhelmed and you're moved to tears and you can't even explain it it is the holy spirit knocking on your heart you know there is more to you but you can't figure it out it is because you need the presence of god you need his presence because it's not just about doing things it's about doing things that brings him the glory we were created for his glory and i thank you lord that your children would have an encounter with that glory they would know you they will grow in you and i thank you lord that they are choosing life in the mighty name of jesus they are choosing life lord by your supernatural power set anyone who is bound by the lies of the enemy set anyone who is being held captive by the lies of satan loose them right now in jesus mighty name lord i speak joy i speak gladness i speak lord god that your spirit will just come upon them in a way they have never experienced lord that some people will just start laughing they don't even know what is funny but lord god they have not even smiled in months and i thank you lord jesus that this is a moment where your spirit invades their space this is a moment of god where your glory would encounter them wherever they are that they would know that your presence is tangible in the mighty name of jesus the enemy is scared of who they are truly are and they don't even know it they don't even know that what's on their life would change a generation it will change a nation it will transform culture and i'm even seeing people that god is calling and what is on your life will change even the laws in a country but the enemy is afraid of you but you don't even know it and i am set here to remind you that the only reason you woke up this morning is because there is something that is not finished that god called you to finish it's in you it's on you and god will have the final say in your life thank you lord thank you lord thank you lord jesus thank you lord in your own way family wherever you are
