Thurman's former opponents like Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia have been clamoring for a rematch with Thurman and over the last five months he's been holed up in his Tampa home with a singular focus to take down Manny Pacquiao I'm excited to face a legend man he's excited to get a new world title and the fans should be excited because this is going to be a great fight I plan on outperforming and making it more exciting than the last fight that he had I'm gonna come in from the opening rounds and see how bad Manny and Freddie Roach really wanted to feat Keith one time Thurman in recent months Thurman has promised to send the 40 year-old Pacquiao into retirement a task many before him have failed to do Manny Pacquiao only has two options in this fight we got Mike Tyson right here but down does that change this from a business a sport to personal for me like I said all those words that I heard give me more inspiration and determination encouragement to work hard believe me but not personal not impersonal I've been in this business more than two decades so we're gonna do our job in the ring this is my moment and this is my fight he's fighting for my belt and yet it's as if the world has forgot so I wanted to wanna stab him a little bit hit him where it hurts cuz if he didn't feel it oh his family felt it oh when I said I'm gonna crucified a man who they say who ah it's almost as if they had a crown of thorns on them themselves they felt it now we all know that Jesus Christ was resurrected but not to walk this earth again he was in spirit he gave messages he gives guidance he is forever loved and maybe Pacquiao when he retires he too will be forever loved man he's getting biblical on you we talked about maybe crossing that line how do you respond to that well I give me my child to him talk they may first talk in the ring or let his fists do absolutely nothing when I dodge everything you know deep down deep down Manny Pacquiao saying I'm gonna but he doesn't want to say it deep down he's saying I'm gonna knock you out too but he doesn't want to say it but at the end of the day I just believe that hourglass is almost finished he doesn't have much left go play basketball Manny you say you like to play basketball every day go shoot hoops with the guy is bad after 20 July 20 this guy's a rock is any of this penetrating your defense here nothing no words don't penetrate defense offense penetrates defense Manny Pacquiao is one of the few fighters that knows that best all right Keith there's there's a devil's advocate to this idea of what's happening it motivates I hope my words motivate him to fight harder fight because for me is just gonna make it easier night I get the feeling he's trying to set a trap for you you know you know I'll say this base of my experience I've been like I said more than two decades in this in this in the boxing I experienced all those hardest fighting in life like when I fight De La Hoya I fight Miguel Cotto I fight Morales Marquez hot on Margarito which is much much taller than me nobody it's impossible I can see it you know but that's because I'm a champion too right it's just a fight it's just a fight Keith Thurman on the ropes against hos Osito may be on the verge of getting stopped it's he still in your eyes the same fighter that walked away as the number one welterweight 2017 after he beat Danny Garcia as a boxer I understand of what happened to him two years in India for boxing that it's hard to come back right away your your style but it's good good for him because he served by the the last fight but I'm sure I'm pretty sure that it's different for this fight because you really come back and and he will work hard he work hard for this fight I know I know he's he's focused in thinking that he you need to talk really hard to make sure 100% condition it's been a long time since we've seen many Pacquiao severely hurt and injured in that ring I would love to be the man that destroys Manny Pacquiao he could have picked Shawn Porter he could have picked Danny Garcia they got Mikey Garcia you got Errol Spence I don't think any of these fights the critics speaking like a critic would say Manny Pacquiao beats every Walter wait in the Walter Wade division today he at the age of 40 I remember at the age of 45 Bernard Hopkins won the World title he wants to be a champion and prove that age is nothing but a number that some athletes our special and that they can achieve things that some people can barely think is possible I believe that's what inspires him to step in the ring with me come July 20 I mean that what that was poetic I'll give you credit but can you stop this man of course he's like this big you know he's this big my punch is this big you fill me Manny Pacquiao improbable title and will this bout live up to the predicted fight of the Year candidate but for now these are the final moments the two men will spend together before they go toe-to-toe in a Las Vegas mecca fight all right Manny when you're breaking this fight down it gets fans excited it gets critics excited because of all you both have accomplished all the skill you bring into the ring there's got to be a weakness when you look at tape of this fighter that gives you that confidence what is this man's weakness inside the ring I saw some witness but I will tell you that you can you can whisper it right think he's found something no he sees weakness and me I see weakness in him not in the fighting spirit of course you know this is nothing new for me this is nothing new for him I can't wait I wish the fight was tomorrow give us a little teaser here Manny what is this flight going to look like inside the ring when you two touch gloves July 20th letter bomb what I can say is I'm more option a lot of boxing in the ring gonna be a war in the ring it's gonna be a lot of boxing you can put that on the poster and Bam Bam Bam Bam that's what you can expect all right let's talk about how you specifically match up if I throw out a category and I said who's got the advantage here speed I think my speed is underestimated I think Pacquiao is fast but what makes them so fast is the is relentless this hand that had you know and then the combination you get to see it just continuously come out as fast as he can let him fly I don't know if my combinations look that fast but when I'm in the ring with people I know that I get right in between right in between and those special moments and it's my speed that opens up other opportunities in that ring the Great Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach was here he might say he can't handle your speed son you have that advantage in this way I think what I saw in this fight is some the speed I know and you know the fact that I'm faster than him we know that all right what about power I mean not else you got many yeah so many fights 40 40 tremendous tremendous respect look Manny Pacquiao is great he will forever be great and it will be great to defeat him July 20th I'm truly looking forward to it all right we talked about what this fight will look like now I want to know how this fight ends July 20th Las Vegas Manny let's start with you it's gonna be a lot of oxygen good fight more oxygen in the ring this is a prediction could fight I mean both of us were working hard in training so we will use that enduring what about you Keith prediction time I predict a great fight just like Manny Pacquiao I predict that he will be broken down at some point in the fight and ultimately when that final bell rings the verdict will Manny has heard it all before, I’m gonna do this Manny, I’m gonna do that, he’s too small blah blah blah. It’s easier said than done. I know boxers have to talk up the fight to sell it etc but it’s kinda reminding me of McGregor vs Khabib where Conor chatted so much shit trying to goad Khabib but it didn’t work and eventually McGregor couldn’t back it up. Can Thurman back up all he said? Pacquiao maybe 40 but unless he gets old over night I’m still backing him to pull off the win.
