we're counting down the top 10 of best secrets to becoming a million at this hour folks this is going to be really really helpful I over to a lot of people my next guest spent part of his teenage years living out of a beat-up station wagon with his family well now he's got 13 million dollars in collectible cars three homes and he says he's worth over 130 million bucks here's ya here's Manny story check it out hello everybody I'm Manny Kotchman welcome to my home I'm a fortunate man to live in this house and it wasn't always easy to get to where I am today I was born in Iran and when you reach age of 14 the government drops you to the army by force so two weeks before my 14th birthday my dad decided to flee Iran and come to America so when we get to America my father thinks he has a job but that fell through so here we are six of us we're forced to live in a car that just you know give me pure motivation I wanted to get out of that situation by any means I made my fortune in real estate I started flipping homes and I moved up to apartments and then 22 plus years and I've probably flipped over seven eight hundred million dollars the real estate and I found my niche let's go to the kitchen where the most beautiful thing is of course my wife Leila you see Dina Deal or No Deal briefcase model number 13 so I used to see her all the time on the show I got a close on that deal of all my accomplishments she's the greatness Oh have you shown that and this is my man cave where I keep my favorite toys and also where I do my business so I have about twelve thirty million dollars worth of course every car I purchase is super limited production and is a great investment I knew I'm going to get successful at some point in my life I just know I'm going to have all this you can't have a mansion without a home theater right we've got under 1080 screen $50,000 projector it's super relaxing to be here and I love it it's one of my favorite parts of the house let's go to the best part the bar and the game room I love playing poker and I used to have weekly poker games at the house I usually sit here have a cocktail and watch the news in the afternoon and here is the BART is what you need to keep the party going you can beat this view this is what I work so hard for is the American Dream and with hard work patience you can have that many contrary playbook please welcome any cost you started off in a car your family had nothing where the K was cut nothing and so you must have made some mistakes along the way how'd you deal with everything that has happened well of course I made mistakes I mean I'm human and I trusted people too easily I got conned you know at age 20 I lost all my life saving to con artists that promised me to buy me a gas station but through it all you know you know as when it comes to friends and colleagues you have to take it as a lesson and move on you can't let that let that bear you you have to move on and and as far as ventures I've learned to diversify and not have all your eggs in one basket you know it's been great but it was it was hard it's been hard you know and it wasn't easy getting here the first 20 years I would say it was like hell what would you say the folks who think of you hear people say that they can't achieve the American dream well first of all think at the word can't are you Academy you have that a mindset that you can and you will achieve the American dream you know and it may look at me I came here at age 14 I didn't know anyone I didn't speak the language I lived in a car I was practically homeless I went to college for only two weeks because I was eager to make money and everybody was goofing around you know and I paid them on your show on national TV about helping people out there who watch this show understand something success is hard but it is doable number nine what's the biggest secret for viewers who want to become millionaires I would say be a sponge you know absorb knowledge knowledge is power surround yourself with like-minded oriented gold people and get out of your comfort zone you know Wow challenge yourself Wow unless you challenge yourself you don't grow you have another tip of the countdown or what you give us nobody stay in the game no matter what you want to fail is just given you know in the process you know I call failure process to success and you just have to study their failure apply to your game plan make corrections and get back in the game yeah never give up that's my model it cannot quit yeah it's not an option you know don't ever give up I think that's big manic I love you story
