wonderful awesome telegram for all of this i don't know i use a june series if you're going to want to use microsoft as a tool known as like a um like a learning system or a learning management system you'll have to start with this session okay and uh i'm i guarantee you teachers know um because i also salute and i also admire how good how excellent this tool is that we're going to harvard today because i personally experienced that no although i was not able to master it for one year and these are grade one students okay so uh talking about teacher power talking about um um usage in terms of like um who can use it i'm telling you grade one students can use this okay so if the grading students can use this definitely your grade 11 or 12 students can use this yes a picture what are you doing oh actually um i've known this application we are on a microsoft series this june but i believe that the application that we're going to tackle today is the foundation no foundation are activated uh to access uh microsoft office 365. so definitely they will have this guru uh microsoft actually run an entire school year in distance learning in a full online distance learning using microsoft themes okay so we're talking about like practicality actual experience so you you meet now so it's not going to be like your theoretical approach but rather teachers know for today you'll actually see and know what works and what doesn't right so we decide to get into this um learning management system alumni and how to use it okay uh so teacher paul let's uh start greeting our session for today so let's not um any more delay no and um let's uh now welcome um of course now we'd like to inform everyone a session for today so did you do the honor of introducing our topic for today okay so our topic for today is actually entitled managing learning systems via teams no so our main point here or our focal point here is a learning management system no it's the learning management system being offered by microsoft now so if you are very familiar with this icon that you see here you might probably see that in your um computers already installed no um that's what we are going to um look at today yeah uh a certified session you're going to get a certificate certificates today your participation by the way um a certificate of um participation i always uh tell our teachers no features a certificate of achievement because uh expectation i mean is that since our webinars are for free you don't pay for it that we expect you to pay it forward okay this session we expect you to go beyond just mere participation maybe begin a step since i think speaker on how you can actually claim as well uh a certificate or a transcript of attendance uh from microsoft it's not themselves no uh from microsoft okay so uh one certificate today one from microsoft and one from teachers so without further ado no teacher uh franco i would like to um present our speaker no our speaker for today she's not new to us no in fact not new to our founder administrator very not new she's a faculty at assumption antipolo and she graduated m a mathematics education at the nanyang technological microsoft innovative educator trainer so teachers help me welcome teacher jessica and s adult teacher jinky welcome hello hello good afternoon everyone and stage let us know first no give us like an overview or um like a flow no what's going to transpire for this afternoon and what are our teachers going to get from your session for today okay so uh for this afternoon we are going to cover uh the microsoft team so i'm going to uh give you a run through of the microsoft teams so i'll try to cover as much as we can the extent of uh what it can offer to you um i've mentioned this uh last na webinar punate when we started using this the previous school year um but because of the pandemic now we had to do some trainings as well know to learn more about it it's a powerful tool but it's a powerful tool now but all throughout the school year no i think na proved in the manta laga know that it really is a powerful tool um especially because for the whole school year no in in our school in assumption antipolo we were able to make use of just the microsoft teams as our basis for the for an lms you know as well as uh with communicating to parents and so on so if it can do that you know for a school nah dinaman can be small school neba so it's a k-12 school so i think um it is very very um easy not to use kela and talagang familiar with it so dada towards the end no uh for those of you um who have a microsoft 365 account again so you will be able i will be giving you know an achievement code for later parapo nos a microsoft education center so that this will be credited you know as a training for microsoft teams so [Laughter] [Laughter] h will no longer keep our audience waiting now so teachers enjoy the session don't forget not take notes don't forget that teams no and um about what ms teams is so again it is an application in the which is part of the office 365. the tasman pushing different types no predicament a browser so you can open it as a browser merundin pushes a mobile desktop version now of course just like um any of the different um office tools punatin uh desktop no would be the one to give you the full experience browser parallel and then because i want to be able to show you what it looks like from the perspective of a student impressive browser so they they also used um ms teams no they are grade 1 students on a school year so they were able to navigate through it okay so i'll be sharing to you um my ms teams now okay uh what i would like to show you first would be what the interface looks like so ganito pusha to put in desktop version yeah no and then um i will be also showing you the different uh parts yeah uh showing you what are the different types of themes available so create put iron and team sodium time at the start uh join or create team team okay joint team with the code so para langdin pushing similar not to google classroom now when you come up with a team gagawa push and encode and then the students can join that team or uh the members of the organization can join that team que pero just like um what we did know so when we create a team yes different options so we can create a class okay this is the first team marine time class okay typical no no team the gaga meeting for um for your section for your subject yeah so d puyon plus plc is a professional learning community so it is an educator working group so in our case the plc uh let's say meron pukhaming team for all the faculty no mere programming team for all the let's say in my specific grade level latpun and teachers a grade level nan so we use the plc young staff no would include as well faculty no other types no humongous school administrations and all other announcements no need to push as a staff no and then other merundin pushan manga ibat ibang uh puede natangamitan for different clubs study groups after school activities so bhagit may ibati bashang types it will depend on what team you will create no for what purpose no but for your sake now if you are going to make a team for your subject for your section then of course in class team young default okay so let me show you uh an example yeah classes just to show you just to give you an example no these are the themes not that um are part or considered as class teams so this one is a school-wide team uh itap gina vietnam for this school year for november of course the grade 11 since i am in the grade 11 um all the grade 11 students and the teachers are part of this this is my section no specific section queen so young system that uh so that it's easier for the students to know where they should go to so hindi so and then this one so i'll be showing you this now the mother team the this is my uh gen math mother teamer the and then for staff and merun coming for faculty and staff club and also for the professional community so different announcements are made there and then for others again events not during the school year uh we had a fair may um um exhibit a legacy so these are all um teams hindisha school india class team okay pero meron dinpong students nito yeah so yoon puyong um classifications not no but of course we will focus on the um class okay so young class so for that one i will be going in mother team other team okay okay so let me yan so welcome to the general mathematics mother team okay so this is but for the sake of our discussion then today space versus the we space upon me um so the chat function is open for us um we decided this is for this school year to have it open so that it's easier to communicate you know with the students and and also to communicate with the other teachers as well so you have the option to pin specific people no usual no and then of course if not if they're not pinned then it will just follow messenger my current message nasa facebook so later no more on that one the teams okay this button will show you all the different teams that you have okay we have the assignments tab okay this is where we push no young assignments students even assessments among the students what we did actually not this school year [Music] and then you have the calendar okay so this will show you know a list of the different um okay let me click the calendar again so d to po option not to show the week day or work week if you notice a schedule this week we don't have classes anymore but let's see let's go back again and so humongous students now sometimes they just go here no case so that's why it's also easy to follow like my grade one daughters and then we also have option for calls of course um where we put files every time you upload a file here in the teams from here ishare okay put it in um carrying option to show an email and a download muna okay and then also for the cloud storage so yeah young files nothing and then going to the three dots now we'll show you even more applications again so it to puma different applications now available satin um these are all applications none available for ms teams uh some of it provided by ms teams telega some are third-party applications honestly depending on what you want is the category for education for productivity and for image and video galleries um domination in offer okay to connect it with the other applications now of the office 365 yeah so those are um the the parts now of the me space punatin so let me now go back to the themes so i'll go back here no and now we will start now with the um how do we go about you know coming up with a team okay so first part acting team case would be the different channel so every time you create a team yeah so you have here uh at start you have a general channel okay that's the first thing that you'll see that's the only thing that you will see okay so you have the option not to put things in the general channel okay uh for our school now we decided to leave the general channel empty okay this is a decision that you can make if there will be let's say a decision by the school not to come up with the um the different structures for the channels then it's an option uh in other places now that make use of teams sometimes they they create a channel no for the let's say for announcements and then they create a channel for meetings and then they also create a channel per topic so sometimes that's what what they do now for our case in our school what we did is to create channels on a weekly basis so that it would be easier now for the students to follow um the different uh weeks what week are we in right now and that is the week that they will go to so yumpuyun okay so we start here so for the general channel and then you now have an option not to create uh a new channel perhaps no so let's say we we are going to create a new channel here so i will be um clicking no this three buttons here okay and then add channel so when you add the channel so it says here create channel um you will put a channel name okay of course letters numbers and spaces are allowed so for example let us put here um teacher support webinar example you have the option to put a description and then here you have an option to show know what type of channel are you going to make now if it is a standard channel it will be accessible to everyone in the team okay so standard channel everybody can see it if it's a private channel it will only be accessible to a specific group of people within the team okay so the different uh channels that i have later know you know the ones that you already saw are standard channels okay when do i make use of a private channel okay for a private channel this is when you want to let's say give access only to a few so for example in my case when do i use this uh when i have a grouping okay that is going to be used for the whole semester okay i create a private channel for the different students in a certain group so each group will have a specific private channel so that when i make announcements they will all see it and when when they have to submit something or when they converse with each other whether through chat or through a meeting it will stay within that private channel now that's the beauty of the um having a private channel so let's say it's a private channel okay so next then it will ask you who are we going to put in this channel okay so let's say i'm going to put only francine so i'm going to put only francine in this channel there okay and then done so how does it look like now how is the private channel different from a standard channel it will have this lock button okay so again anything that will happen in this um channel no only francine and i can see it now what if there are other owners in the team if they are not part of the private channel they will also not see it okay so only those that are part of the private channel can see what is in the private channel okay so that's how you make a private channel no so just to show you the difference of a standard channel with a private channel okay so now let's try to look at the channel here now let me let's first use this fourth quarter week one so i'm going to show you know what or how we construct our channel so maybe to also give you an idea how we do it um so i create banners here and if you can see i have here four banners yeah and so we um this one the banner here uh this is something that i make in canva no um i edit this on a weekly basis actually the yeah so i zoomed it out so that you can see it uh the banner clearly so you you i just put this here and then i edit this every time every week so if i go to week two this will be week two already so let's say week four yeah week four so it's it's not required no it's just something that i also enjoy doing um so that it's easier now for my students to distinguish yeah so here we put first the learning objectives for the week and then the ilt the ilt here is independent learning time so we tell them know what they have to be able to accomplish during their first ilt okay and then during their second ilt we color coded no even uh in the lower grades um it's color coded so that it's easier also for the students to see now uh for today it's color blue for the second period it's color uh orange so that it's easier for them yeah and then the discussion board as well so let me show you how to do this so when you start a new conversation here so if i just uh type away already you know hello let me make it bigger again so if i type just hello how are you doing and you send enter okay then it will just be like this no it will just be like a message no that you sent okay so there's there will be nothing more to it okay so how do i come up with those decorations and all that so let me edit this and click this one this is a format uh button now if i click this format button then it becomes a a post wherein you will now decide if it will be a conversation or it will be an announcement so in our case um just so that it looks neat the bus so we always make it an announcement so we type a headline so here we can put here let's say june 5 20 21. so let's say i can do that i have the option to change the colors with what i want okay or to even put or change the images so choose an illustration there are options here already no it's not required that you know how to use canva or to know how to decorate so you can also choose from what we have here so let's say for example it's an art class so they can choose this one there okay so and then hello how are you doing okay so we can continue on with our uh way of typing the conversation to give our announcement so let's say let me change this now okay so let's say [Applause] things to accomplish for today yeah so and then let's say i will i can use not numbered uh or bullets no it depends on what we need okay so let's say for number one listen to the webinar number two answer the evaluation something like that okay so you can you have the option not to change put it in bold or italicize it or underline it so same things you can only do this if you click the format button okay so very important that you click this you can actually only press enter and it will go down no if you put click the format button if not when you press enter it will send the conversation so uh sometimes uh the start of the year no my students struggled with this no i asked them to answer something and then i'm wondering how come their answers are a bunch of um words not they are not even entering to a second paragraph something like that it's because they did not know about the format button at first okay so there's also an option to strike through uh you have here different um so let's say i yeah so i can highlight okay i can also change the font color yarn okay even the size no we can change the size make it large so this now also becomes easier now for the younger students now of course their texts are much larger especially if they're having difficulty to read at first no and then what if you want to put everything back to its original so then we just erase yeah so babaliksha to what it originally is may indent okay there's also option for that um this one not yan so if we put this no it's saying that this is coated no from something so let's say you copied something and then you want to put it here then you can click this to show that this is a coated uh announcement or a quoted message yeah so you can do that and then one more thing that i like here is uh the link okay so what is this link um if i click this i you cannot see it here now you can put a text to display so let's say we will put the evaluation form and then here you will just input the evaluation form so that they don't you don't need to have uh a bunch of um letters or a bunch of documents there or for example i'm going to choose no uh youtube let me choose youtube so let's say we're going to watch i'm going to ask you to watch the youtube or the webinar so ms themes webinar so if i try to do this it will go in like this now msteam's webinar okay and then you can see this is the webinar that we are in right now now you have the option to just remove the preview yeah so that it's not messy no so it it just looks like that but when they click on this link it will go directly to the um to the to the webinar not to whatever link you put here yeah so those are the different things now that we make use of no and then you can attach files no it's either the files are inside the themes already it's from your onedrive or it's uh uploaded from your computer you can attach it there so what do we put here sometimes we need to put pictures or images so you can also do attachments uh there are also um emojis now that we can use uh gifs that we can use as well and also stickers say okay so that's uh the different ways no on how we put okay so let's see how we of course in in my case in senior high um i seldom know use the stickers more the emojis and the gifs they they appreciate that more it will depend of course on the age yeah so those are the different buttons let me zoom in again okay and then here now we have here the stream okay the stream um i think this is something that will also be discussed now within the month now this is the tool wherein you can put uh videos now let's say you have a video lesson and you can put it in stream and then you can just paste a link for this theme here and then this one praise okay this is something that i also uh like now that we did not know about the previous school year so we can select a badge no and give to the students so let's say you want to make an announcement now let's say you want to congratulate them for um let's say for their growth so let's say it's going to be growth then you can add the personalized note here okay so congratulations and something you can type and then you can type a name so let's say francine only those in the team now will be able to uh will will have no the only those in the team are the ones that you can search not to give the praise of course because if they're not in the team they will not be able to access it and then of course i will also put marco yeah so let's say i put both of them and then congratulations for finishing grade one so it will look like this no and then it will get sent to them so you can also do that now it's an immediate feedback not that you can do and it's also nice because here if it's posted in the conversation or in a standard channel everybody know we'll be able to see it so sometimes as easy as uh simple as thank you for submitting on time no and then you can mention all the names of those who submitted on time at least it's a positive uh feedback no as compared to um putting let's say please submit your at all like let's say please submit your project already and then you tag the name so it's at least this one is positive no reinforcement yeah if i send it and so the whole announcement will get sent yeah so the announcement look at this now the announcement that i have here is not part of the praise but the praise yeah is already awarded the jinky sent praise to francine and margot and they have been tagged already yeah magandana they are tagged so they can see okay um uh the announcement or the praise that that they received so what other things that we can put here again so we also have youtube uh bottom now you can of course enter or search uh put a search term let's try franco hadoon webinars up now with what we what you want to look for now so putting search button and then automatic bypass of the push so let's say you want to click the google versus microsoft yeah sola la basiandito yeah so young google versus microsoft native okay so those are the different things that you have here um this one not the poly is a tool that we use for poli for creating a poll again so for giving simple pulse no but i'm not sure no if i think um okay let's continue so sometimes if you have a question that you want to ask your students and then they will answer so you have the option here to say um if they can vote just once or okay it's taking longer so this is an example of an app okay an application inside um ms themes that can be used so you can create a poll a simple poll now you can ask one or more questions by the narration quiz no but this one uh the with paulie since it's a free account it's limited no you cannot always make use of this now what would be an option that is always free you have the ms forms now you can also put no an ms forms as a bot okay it's like a it becomes a bot no when you put it in the ms teams so but it will also do the same thing so let's say you ask one question and then it can be answerable and you can enter your question you can enter your choice you have the option to allow multiple votes the audience can add choices uh will it be public no will their response be public will it be anonymous uh will they know the results visibility will they know it um in real time or will they uh will it only be shown after close or will it be completely hidden from the audience so let's say you are um let's say it's an election now you're going to vote for the president of a class so it can be hidden uh it can be shown after close something like that no so and then you can create know the different poly and then it will also come out in the in the specific channel that you enter it in so that's a poly for you so let's say i finish this no when i finish this though it's when i check okay when i do check this one yeah so this announcement will come out so why is there this because i added the the youtube what if you made a mistake okay oh that should not be there i just click edit and i remove the link there and then i can continue on with this simple announcement so that's um how easy it is not to make an announcement now um so you might be wondering okay you did it in your mother team so how do you give it to your classes no how do you distribute it to the class this is what we do so of course i edit this again okay um here there's an option to post in multiple channels so i click that and then i select where i will post it so let's see i also put four cue week one so all the teams that will have this four q week one you know will will show up okay so here i have the one for section one for section two for section three for section four and then update so if i check this then this announcement will now go to all the other four sections so that's how we do it now our process in our school is that the mother team is the one checked by our subject team leader or our department chairperson okay um just to to show her that we are doing um things correctly based on our plan okay and then from there we just deploy it we call it deployment no we just deploy it to the other teams so that's how easy it is to distribute to the rest of the team we don't do it per section okay so why do we have teams different teams per section because if every section um meet at different uh times of the week now it's harder if it will just be one team for the whole batch now so we do it per section okay so but i will not of course no i will not check this because it will get sent to them my students will get notified with this and they might do it even if it's already vacation so i will um cross out yeah so i will cross them out there no but just to show you know how to do it now here no uh this button everyone can reply i hope you can see it everyone can reply if i click this there's an option wherein you and the moderators can reply so if the you and the moderators can reply is the one that is checked only i no and the whoever are owners of the team or moderators of the team will be able to comment okay or reply to this post now why do we do this now why is there a need for you to do this sometimes you have announcements that you do not need your students to type in to respond to okay so for example what announcements are am i talking about let's say the learning objectives okay they don't need to type anything here so this is restricted such that it is only i and the moderators will be able to reply okay so where can my students reply what if they want to type something where can they reply then they go here in the discussion board here now they can reply to this post okay so everyone can reply here no in this way uh the teams become uh very neat okay it does not become uh messy okay and one more thing um you have the option so let me check this first again okay this new conversation bottom now this became a problem um at the start of the year for us because we did not know yet then okay so because when students come in and then they cannot answer here they cannot reply here they cannot reply here and they want to say something then they click the new conversation and they type now they don't know what it it's doing to the whole channel no so how can we prevent that from happening okay you also have a way to yeah to manage the channel okay so permission anyone can post messages okay let me go to the week one so that you can see it here yeah so set channel moderation preferences if the channel moderation is on okay so who can start a new post only the moderators and then the students now will be able to reply to channel they they have the option to pin so unless i uncheck this so that's the beauty as well now of moderating the different channels so okay um one more thing though that happens when you moderate a channel here if you notice on top yeah so here we have and i'm zooming it in so that we can see here we have a meet now button okay so if we click this the meet now button then they have the option to meet now or schedule a meeting if the channel moderation is off anybody can do this the students can create a meeting inside the channel now without the control of the teacher so but if the channel moderation is on only the teachers now will be able to um click this meet now or schedule a meeting function so that's how important it is to make sure that your channel is moderated properly now that uh the settings of the channel moderation is is fixed no so that you do not prevent let's say sometimes no um if you forget to put a moderation uh sometimes you have a meeting and then another student created another meeting no and the other students entered that meeting instead so something like that so it can get messy you know if it's not moderated okay so that's how you create no uh the different uh channels not and how you look at the settings in the channels yeah so um let me unzoom again okay so that's how we do it no per week and then if you notice here you have the option to hide and so you might be wondering no uh why is it only week one to six because this is just for the fourth quarter uh the other hidden channels that i have again let me go to the general channel so that you can see i'm sorry here paula the managed team okay so here now let's look at the manage theme this is the three buttons uh microsoft no loves um the ellipses now madame my ellipses now that you can just click and then more options now will be um coming out okay so here members so you have to if you have to add members then you can put them here you can change the role of the members no owner basha or membership in again in this case now i said i added my two daughters in this account so if i want to make them an owner then i can just click owner yan and then my ghost name will come up here oh my i made a mistake i put them back to member then remember okay they you have an option to mute hey if you mute the students here they will not be able to chat now they will not be able to type in any of the channels okay so if i hope no there's no need no one for you to do that no but uh yeah there is an option to mute them not to so that they cannot uh type in any of the different um announcements or banners or conversations that are ongoing okay so that's the mute pending requests no this is when you give um the join um code okay so this is um um where you will have to add them so but again in our case no there there was no need for us to have this and then the channels okay so you will see here the different channels yeah those are the different active channels the third quarter ones are also here then show for me okay if i check this this is these are the ones that will that um will come out so if i remove all of this uncheck these then you can see on my left on the left side that they are slowly um getting smaller okay if i remove the group a and group b meetings and whole class meeting then they will also um remove get removed show for members again so if you if i also uncheck this then it will also become hidden for them okay so from their view what can they see only the general channel because i removed all of this but everything else is just hidden okay so it's just hidden unless you deleted it all right there settings so what are the settings there you can also pick a theme here now this is where we can change know whatever design we have so there there are pre-designed or um pre-made images now by microsoft depending on the subject so let's say it's a pe subject then you have these options science you have these options okay why are these the decorations that we have no um again these are just made by microsoft now if you want um to make your own or to upload your own you can edit it here sorry i think it's outside no maybe later no i'll show you how to change this one no we just decorated and then um we put here okay okay uh member permissions yeah so you it's up to you know what you want to allow your students to be able to do so here i allowed them to owner can delete all messages give members the option to delete their message so if you uncheck any of these no or check any of these then you will be able to make sure no that you you are able to manage your team more and then guest permissions what are guest permissions okay uh a guest no can enter a team okay so let's say they get called in a meeting no then they can enter a certain team here in this case um i am not allowing any guests no so we we do not have any guest permissions um given here next at mentions so at mentions so show members the option to add team or add team name and to and then they can um easily communicate now so in our case every time we make an announcement no we just press or we just type at team okay and then the all of the members in that team will get notified if you press at and then francine then only francine will get notified of that announcement no but they can all still see it team code yeah so this is the theme code yeah it's a generate so this is what you share no example only you know this is what you share if you want your students to enter through a team code and so similar then with the google classroom fun stuff so you want them to allow to use jiffys you want it to be strict moderate yeah so of course it's in the strict setting and also uh allows content rated young audiences yeah so they can input this my students no enjoy this let's say during the morning and then i ask them okay type in a gif um how are you feeling today so they can choose whatever they like and then the onenote class notebook and so later now we will be setting up the class notebook for this channel for this theme so that you will also be able to see how you manage the class notebook and then tags so the tags are managed by the team owners what are the tags no it's just a simple way of dividing the class so let's say you can put tags here example the members yeah and so you can see my tag detail now we can tag them if we want okay so let's say this is group a and then this one is group 3 so something like that not so that it's easy to see who are my parts of group members of group a who are members of group b so that's the tagging part now that's how we uh manage you know the team okay so i hope that you're you're able to um uh gather no already know how you manage the team how you create a channel yeah so um sir franco or mispa would there be any questions first no specific to the creating of the channels so that we can address them before we move to the other parts of the ms team can you add someone with a different email subscription like gmail or yahoo mail or any other email can you actually add them into your ms teams to a team actually i think no this is one if it's going to be an open theme i think now they can add uh i haven't tried it personally no but uh i think you have an option to add others because if even if those who do not have ms 365 accounts or the office 365 accounts they can download this themes option or they can open a teams app they can create um an account no a microsoft account okay so that they will have access to this but of course they will not have they will not be able to create something like this no so that's uh one um i think one uh functionality you know of of having the subscription of the office 365 but can they enter yes okay they will be able to enter especially in calls now especially in meetings now you may you will be able to uh add those who do not have the office 365 account they can enter a meeting so that's uh something that the that can be done now as for them let's say if your concern is what if only the teachers have the office 365 account and the students do not have no or will they be able to create a team now that's the ques that may be a question no um i think no maybe through the join code they can do that but i believe the access will be limited no same analog similarly only of course those within the same organization will have the full functionality now so my understanding of it now you can add them up you know but um they will not have full functionality of the whole um ms teams experience yes and i think there's the value talaga no teacher pow uh and miss nintena your your your class subscription belongs to the same account no sign in um capabilities pair organ teachers no you're subjecting your classes to i don't know the account okay office 365 so our students actually can sign up for those okay and i think again um um uh my accounting there's another question here they're asking what applications are actually embedded in ms themes on what application can you do inside already okay um [Music] um yeah no i we will go there no but um when they look at the files now they can actually already create you know a document um [Music] but they can create a word document excel of course all of them would be microsoft i know microsoft applications now uh word excel powerpoint um and then onenote and then they can also create forms already new new ones they can create it inside no or if they upload something inside no they can open it inside as well so they don't need to go out let's say to the desktop app or the or the browser um app not to open a word document it will open inside the ms teams already so those are the different um ms applications that are already embedded in now so yunyung ginagamet now part of the office 365. uh microsoft team so based on your experience uh miss jinky um do you require high bandwidth for msps um i don't know the specific like uh number you know i know bandwidth but uh it is accessible the desktop one i have a co-teacher um who was having difficulty know with their internet and would sometimes just use data and they are still able to access not just the teams no but also enter meetings no but it is sensitive though um if your internet becomes unstable it will tell you now that the internet is unstable or that there is no connection so it will it will show no so let's say you have students who only have um phones and using data is it still possible for them to access this yes no hindisha free like facebook no perro they can still easily access the data here the different information here oh no [Music] recommended c um desktop for less bandwidth bandwidth materials are third-party applications free for premium access um in the the one the ones available inside the teams yeah i believe most of them are free no but uh sometimes of course it will depend on the application now uh it's free only for a certain number of uses so it it really is an independent on the different um providers or the apps sometimes it's really free the whole time no sometimes it's a free only for the first let's say the poly that i showed a while ago i think it's free for the first 25 polls that you will be creating no and then after that you have to get the premium account something like that so but there is really no need no to to do that for example me uh what i do if i don't want to to go use a third-party app um if i want them to come up with choices and i make use of the reaction button not that simple no i tell them okay um let's try to vote for this um press heart if you do this and it's easy it's easy to come up with a simple poll like that so the different applications um yes it it's um mostly i think if not all the free talages option forever from our audience okay this is one this one is from maria cristina can we have two ms teams in our unit okay one with office 365 and the other one with gmail i think that's a little bit problematic anyway in in the unit um but in the same laptop perhaps here talks about the group okay like a department maybe or a grade level unit um and then there they want to set up an ms teams for uh opposition but i think um to be able to fully maximize uh because i i did it before no when when i had the webinar on um the teams meeting now you remember uh i created a teams account i created an account for my gmail microsoft account so very limited parallel if you already have the ms365 then stick with that one no it's it's a a lot easier to do a magnet let's say what if you will be managing more than one account no i don't know um if that happens in your case but for let's say for my case um in my uh and it's easy to switch to the different accounts now so in the case of the question puedima may gmail dinah puederen in the same unit puederen so you can switch that but then you will see that the functionality if it's not uh an ms365 account will be very very i know different you know the one catalog account for that so pero puede pusca dito pusa desktop ma an uh why do i access my daughter's account just to make sure assignments agree know a post here this is the post part if i click on the files okay so the files now you have here a class materials folder so what is the beauty of this glass materials folder okay i don't know if you can see it there yeah anything posted here is read only for students so if you have to post class materials it can be documents presentations now that you want your students to have access to view but not edit you can put it here okay so uh this is one way for you to share your uh materials to them now and uh make sure that they will not be able to change or to delete it no so you just put it in the class materials folder now the other channels let me pull out a hidden channel here okay so let's say we go to this one instead and then i go to files okay so here it will not have yet not the automatic class materials uh folder now uh that means if you create a folder so let's say this is group a folder if you create a folder like this then everybody will have access to it they can add to it they can delete the folder no unless you change the setting okay so how do you change the setting here um you'd have to go to the sharepoint no so it is a lot easier okay um to make sure this is a different webinar okay so you will go to you will go out now of ms teams not to be able to change this so let's see let's click on properties yeah so it doesn't have any of the access points there so here no they can easily change know what you have here so it's safer a lot safer to put it in the files no general channel files class materials personally for me i don't use this anymore okay why is that uh because as uh i showed you um we have more than one section i teach general mathematics for four different sections so if i have to upload class materials i have to upload it per theme now so that would mean doing it four times no so what is uh um another way to go about this no is to make use of one drive no um what i do let me try to open um my first channel so that you can see it yeah so what i do instead is to come up with uh this one no it's a link to a shared folder okay so this is in one drive no uh and this folder and then this is my message this folder will contain files that are shared for the fourth quarter it will be updated appropriately so every time i add something i tell them that it is in this file now similar to what you have let's say in the google drive that is what will happen now you are putting a link into the one drive and that one drive now has the access that the people in the organization have the option to view only so therefore i'm sure anything i add there they will not be able to delete they will not be able to add anything to it okay so i am secured now that they can do this and what's beautiful about this is that this folder can now be shared to all four sections since this post is shared to all the different teams then they will all have access to the same folder so i don't have to worry about uploading it per team no but again if it's something specific to a certain team now then of course you can still make use of the files tab here so this is just uh something that we got to uh know kumbhaga hacks now how will it make our life easier now before we do it per channel paso let's see week one i will post the file for the powerpoint here and so on but it becomes very um time-consuming as well no and of course we want to be able to see know how we can save time not so that we can focus uh more no on the different aspects of being a teacher yeah so wayne on a puedonating away okay so in the files uh this is the question a while ago no you can actually create uh different documents already inside so let's say i'm going to create a powerpoint presentation so that i can already create the powerpoint presentation here so for example um june series 8 so then that would mean the power point will open inside the ms themes and so it's just uh taking a while to load this is the first time i did this by the way because i don't uh create now but it is possible again so it it looks no um how it would look in the powerpoint uh most likely the one in the browser now it would be closer to the browser of course there is still an option to open in the desktop app now for full functionality put io then make it outside no and then you can just upload it here no but if you don't want to go outside your teams and you want to create it here then it is an option so you have here the different uh design options and then this becomes a powerpoint that can also be for collaboration already since everybody is in this team node will also be able to see it they can also change so if you want to um let's say ask your students to create a powerpoint um inside their private channel note and then one slide per student they can already do it here at the same time now they have the option to copy the link okay they can have the option okay so yeah one moment while we create the link and so this link now people in your organization can edit so if you share this now then they will be able to edit this even if it's not inside the ms team so it now becomes really no a powerpoint um link okay so yeah so let me close that okay and then you can also have the option to present it already make comments conversation in the theme so you can communicate as well yeah and so most likely no most familiar that this is done with the google workspace um google slides not then or google docs so it's very very similar in approach so they can also collaborate here so let me close that now and so it's already here now you can already you have uh you can see it already in the uh files here okay so you have an option to upload okay if it's something that you created in your um computer yeah so you can upload files you can upload folder you can copy the link if you click copy link then it copies the link of this whole channel yeah the different materials in this channel that's what you are copying and then of course you can download the different materials that is also seen here no so that's uh the files part now what i want to go to actually is the assignments tab okay so the assignment again is where we push no assessments uh formative or summative assessments okay that the students will be able to see so let me show you know how we do it so let's create one okay so when you click create you zoom it in again when you click create you have the option is it an assignment is it a quiz now just take note when when you click quiz this will assume that it is a quiz using ms forms so if you are going to give an assignment uh if you're going to give an assessment let's say it's still a quiz but it will not make use of ms forms then you will still choose assignment okay so let's say we choose assignment here yeah so these are the details that we need to encode not the title of the assignment okay so let's say this is hands-on activity number one and then you give your instructions you can add the category the category no um you can put the quarters if it's a pt if it's a written work if it's a if you have different ways of grading it it's easy if it's categorized now so that you'll be able to um manage it later now when you see the grades uh you'll be able to see okay so enter instructions the necessary instructions so you can just copy paste this let's say you have uh the quiz already in your document you can simply copy paste it here add resources what resources can we add so you can of course add um yeah so files in your onedrive you can open the files in your onedrive already you can add something in the class notebook no but in this case notebook detox or you can add a link so let's say it's a link it's an outside um link now you can also put it here so puede punati indian govindito or you can upload from your device so let's say you have your document your pdf in your laptop so let's say pilitaio [Music] solutions yeah so you upload something yeah so then they will have they will be able to see this no and then what do they do with it and so here if it's a pdf and then what if you want them to be able to edit you know or answer something and you want them to do it in the pdf it's best that you have your onenote open now your class notebook open because it's easy to do that no or another option is you can put a word document here so let's say it's a new document that you put so let's say answer sheet yeah so you have the option students can't edit or students edit their own copy odiba similar langdin google classroom so students edit their own copy then they can answer it here so again you can upload the document and then students can edit their own copy puedi puyon no hapagi nila gaining in uh students can't edit then it will just be something that they see you can put points okay um or you can add a rubric if you want no i uh csv and so example here no i created the rubric before let's say if i add this so here in this case now the feedback will be also easier for you to do assign to yeah and this is the beauty again no um the mother team is here but then i have the option to also assign it to my other teams uh assignment not the same assignment so you again only have to do it once so time saver then push yeah so pretty poor nothing and go in but again i will uncheck so that they will not get announced or another case now what if it's not it's an assignment that you will not uh share to all students okay what if it's an assignment [Music] student began or let's say it's an assignment student you want to give them a chance so then you have the option also to choose in this case students then you can select who will have the assignment who will see the assignment in their um assignment tab so who will get notified as well okay when you put an assignment they get notified by it as well next the date due and the time ju no date the date and time um but this one the edit button here no is more powerful because here you can see um if i check this then it's scheduled to assign in the future then i can select when it will come out to them so let's say june 7 no so i will choose june 7 and if the time of the class is at 11 a.m and i only want it queued in during my period then i will choose 11 a.m no and then the due date and the close date are two different things if you set the due date so let's say june 7 until june 8th so then june 8 let's say only until 4 pm so if it's just due date 4 pm assignments will post on monday due on tuesday 4 p.m late turn-ins allowed so puedi papu sila mag submit after 4 p.m but they will have a tag that they submitted late okay so what if you do not want to allow late turn-ins then you click the close date okay so what will be the close date so let's say you will allow turn-ins but only until 6 p.m of the same day so then i will do that okay so you will the actual submission is 4 pm and then you give a 2 hour leeway and then after that no more submissions then you put a close date so usually for us if it is a formative assessment there is no closed date no so that the students can do it even if it's late okay but uh if it is a summative assessment no it's a graded assessment then we put a close date so that they have to follow the deadline so that's how we differentiate now when do we use the due date and the close date so there okay next this one is a new thing now for assignments i think it just came out last month perhaps add assignment to calendars this is very nice no so you can set it the students and me or students and team owners of course for me um i'd rather that i just set it to students and me because if it's a team owner then my department chairperson will also get notified of all the assignments of all the students so that would be very um messy also for her so students and me so what happens here is that the students will also have the assignment in their calendar so they do not just get notified inside the team okay but they also get notified um in their calendars now so later we'll see know what the calendar looks like now post assignment notifications to this channel so the general channel is the default place where the assignment is notified now if you want to change this you can input know which channel you want the assignment to go in so let's say you want them to you wanted to enter in the week uh let's say fourth quarter week one okay but what is not the limitation of this if you want it specifically to be put in a certain channel then you cannot assign it anymore not too different okay this one no different sections or different classes and then what happened it it got back to default the general because if you have multiple classes it will just stay in the general channel now for me uh personally um when i started the year let's say the first quarter second quarter i always wanted it on the specific uh week no but then uh i realized as well know that the students it's easier for them to see the assignments if it's all in one place not so putting it in the general channel is actually a good place because it's the first thing that they see when they open their team so [Music] or if you want it on a specific channel you cannot have it uh multiple teams so gagawin specific different teams so let's say i will schedule this assignment already yeah okay so now i will create another one this time no but it's a quiz so if it's a quiz automatic the pop out will be the forms so what will come out here would be the forms that you have created already before okay or you want to make a new quiz okay so let's say i'm going to make use of this quiz that i have so i just check that click next there and then i go back here again okay so as if i will post this okay i will post this in the calendar and then i will not schedule it now instead i will make it come out immediately today so if i will assign this already yeah so you can see here there's a scheduled assignment uh this one uh is an assignment that i made before no but of course this is the mother team and then i shared it to the other team so nobody's turning it in here and then this is the assignment that we just created if you notice a notification came out now there's a one here and a one here okay so that means if i click this yeah so general mathematics assignment mention general mathematics so if we go back to the general channel assignment if i click this the view assignments okay so this is the teacher's view okay not turned in that means they have not yet opened the assignment so what if any of these two opened already the assignment but have not submitted it yet now then they then this status will change to viewed okay so that means you can already see so when we give an assignment or a quiz during the period and then we tell them okay you may now open the assignments then we can see who hasn't opened it yet so we sometimes give them a reminder if it's during the meeting we call them or we ask for their names and then tell them now can you please open the assignment now or if not then we chat them privately and tell them now please open the assignment already something like that okay and then once they have turned in or meaning they're done with it no then this status will change to turned in yeah so that's um um how they will how you will be monitoring them and then feedback because you did not make any notebooks yet yeah so the mother team will have the following the collaboration space okay this is a space where in both the teacher and students can edit content library the teachers can edit and students can view teacher only our in the teacher can edit students cannot view and the student notebook of course the teacher and the students can both edit but the students cannot see the other students notebook okay so let's check that and then here now what will the students have in their notebooks so this is where you can um stick with what you have here or change so let's say i will not need the handouts here class notes is for their own notes homework quizzes okay so let me add something here for example i have i want to put um for example bonus exercises that they can um put in so you can do that okay and then press create yeah so it's already um setting up our class notebook and uh what will happen here that the class notebook is a very very powerful um tool no the this is part of the office 365 that's the one note now that when it is um incorporated in the themes note then it becomes even more powerful because this becomes another way you know for you to do your discussion to come up with your um give them the space that they need as well again so welcome to the class notebook yeah so nabangit konapukanina in different parts so let me open this uh different uh navigation button yeah so you can see here the collaboration space okay so let's say you can add here something or let's say you want to have a wall uh that they you want all your students to answer so they you can already put a page here and then they can all input their answers so when they do it simultaneously it will still work okay yeah so let's say this is uh example freedom wall yeah so they can all type in no but you will be able to see who is typing what okay there is what we call the um view authors no um no but there is a way now for you to see who is typing what you again anonymous now since it's in the class notebook now you'll be able to see who typed what yeah so and then you have the content library this is also another option for you to put in your um pdf or your powerpoint presentations that you'd like to share or some readings that you'd like to put nope and then here in the content library again they can view but they cannot edit it so what if you put a document here and you want everybody to have it may wayna man partner to distribute that to the different students but again it's a different um tool already okay and then the teachers only this is where i put let's say my assessments or exercises that i do not want them to see yet so you can put it in this um space no and then this one i can see both francine and margos but they can only see their own okay so you can access all these now they can input they can put their homeworks or put their exercises in their specific uh it can be by week it can be by topic it now depends on you okay so and then when you let's say no uh you want to cue in an assignment and you want it you want to get it from a page in the teacher only yes that's doable no kannina is assignment there's an option to add as uh as um one ad option punaten is from the notebook so puede natin dun kukunin from the notebook from the teacher only or from the content library and then everybody will have a copy of it automatic so the notebook will already ask you so if you put quizzes they will all already get a copy of that page so they will all be able to answer it so you you now have no a tool wherein you can see it all in one space in the assignment and the students will also have a tool to see it only from their perspective okay let's say it's all collected in their own small class notebook so that's the beauty no of the class notebook so again this will be discussed further no um along june so this is something that's also a favorite of mine especially when i make use of this no because here you have the function to draw so pending mcdrawden data you can um write down solutions math equations by the input so that's the class notebook so the class notebook will only be found in the general channel okay it's a general channel all right now um we are going now to the meeting okay so how do we create a meeting now so kanina uh miss paul mentioned know that um she only uh knew of the ms teams as a video conferencing tool okay so now i'll be showing you know how do you schedule a meeting schedule okay so let's see um here in in our school now we have specific channels for meetings now we um so that the students will always know where to go in case so let's say i go here in the group a meetings yeah so i have the option to create a meeting here yeah so if it's a meet now meeting okay if i click meet now that means we're meeting now okay it's not something that uh was scheduled again so it is uh something not that um the students will just enter up on the actual note so if it's a meet now meeting it will not be put in their calendar okay let me change my shared screen so that you can see the meat now for a while okay so again if i click meet now here hi meeting in group a meetings i can change this now usually what i do is i put in let's say fourth quarter week one and then learning period one i do that not so that it's easier for the students but if it's meet now again they cannot see this in the calendar okay in the higher grades they don't have any problem with it no so it's easy for us to do a meet now button so that's how you do it that's one way of starting a meeting i'm clicking the don't use audio not just so we don't have any interference but if you will have to do it then of course computer audio put io okay so let's click the join now so now you have options now how will your students know that there is a meeting ongoing so there are options you can copy the meeting link so you can copy this and send it out in the themes no or you can add the participants so you can type the participants or you can share via default email for us personally um they know they see that the meeting is ongoing let me move a bit no my meeting and you can see here in the channel okay that there is a button here no in here you can see it and then here in the channel itself now a banner showing that a meeting is already ongoing so they just go to the channel and then click join so i don't share any links anymore okay so that's one way for us to start the meeting so what is part of the meeting of course uh we have this now we have your um who are the participants okay so the different options of participants you are the organizer if you are the organizer then you are the only one who can share okay who can share in the meeting so these students not of course they are not in the meeting right now no so i'm if i will click request to join then from there end no it will uh they will get called okay but if you have students and then they want to share you can make them a presenter okay you have the option to to make them a presenter yeah tapos um chat function of course it's here so same thing the same thing with what i mentioned a while ago you can just type in enter or you can click the format uh button this uh the functions of the chat in the post part or in the post uh conversation of the channel no is similar to this so you can put pictures you can put gif here it will all um enter you can change the settings no it will all um come out here in the chat and then we also have these um buttons now that we have so for the race hand function again so young race hand yeah so you have here um the students um yellow border no they can then you can already see and in the participants uh you can also see that main character yeah and so the raised hand uh the hands are raised in the order of how they of the time that they raised so now okay and then we also have other um uh reaction buttons here no these are quite new as well so that students can also do reactions for these and then we have the breakout room let me unraise my hand now okay so the breakout room uh you have the select you can select the number of rooms you want to create so this is until 50 rooms that you can create and then you can assign students automatically or you can assign them manually so you have those options uh and then you can create the different rooms already so let's say i created a room okay of course since i'm the only one here no and i only created one room then there will only be one room that will be created okay so in the breakout room um these are the room settings that you can have automatically move participants to the rooms you can unclick unclick that one or um stay it on participants can return to the main meeting so you have the option to click this again so if you click this they they can go back even if they are not done with their activity so you may opt to um not click this no but they cannot go back to the main meeting unless you pull them out of the breakout room and then setting a time limit now is also good if it's a time the activity and then you will tell them okay after 10 minutes you will go back to the main meeting room yeah so let's say set nothing no no 10 minutes yeah so those are settings that you can do and you can change them each time okay so um and then going to the different rooms now is is actually easy and then assigning the different students know so if you have a lot of students here that hasn't been assigned then you can just simply click their name and assign them to a specific room so right now the rooms are still closed because there's nobody not that i'm putting here but if there is a name here then there will be an option to open the rooms already okay and then one more thing that i like about the breakout rooms make an announcement so let's say my students are in their group in their groups okay so i make an announcement to them that say tell them now okay you have 10 minutes to do this so and then it will all get announced there okay so it's easy to monitor i know that i'm not in all the rooms all at the same time but it's still easy to monitor them how do we do the monitoring number one we tell them to record the meeting in the room okay so we are assured that they will only do what uh the tasks that are being done for them so the recording will stay in their specific chats for that meeting okay the attendance okay an attendance report will come out after the breakout room is closed attendance report will come out as to who entered the room what time did they enter what time they left yeah so you employ mom again no and then they optioned in puttaya to recreate the rooms and to remove the rooms this is a pretty new anonymous it started i think late 2020 already no so it's a coming up with more developments as we go along um of course inspired by the breakout rooms uh they are catching up now with the development that is going there so um that's what they like as well know about the ms uh teams no it's trying to catch up with the things that are needed to improve the functional before when we did not have breakout rooms um we had to create several uh like private channels to serve as breakout rooms so but it's it's hard to jump in from channel to channel to monitor the students and to give announcements to the students as well now but here it's very easy to give your announcements so there so that's the breakout room for us and then another ellipsis again i told you it's the favorite no you have more functions so you have meeting options so when the meeting options here yeah and so this is where you who can bypass the lobby so in ms teams we call it the lobby okay so it's like a waiting room so you have the option to set it to only me or to everyone if it's everyone anybody can enter anybody who was sent the link no can enter your meeting if it said to only me then it only i will be able to open the meeting if the others enter the meeting uh but it's uh i am not yet in or i have i did not uh ask them to enter yet not then they will be staying in the lobby until i let them in okay so other things um announce when callers join or leave so you can click or unclick that who can present everyone people in my organization specific people only me so if it's set to only me then i can i will only be the one to to present so it also prevents you from students who will suddenly share screen debug or do other things that so to prevent them from doing that you it's better to set this to only me allow mike for attendees allow camera for attendees what foreign you are preventing bandwidth um let's say para hindi pomashado mabigax a bandwidth and you only want you yourself not to be able to do this so padding unchecked allow reactions but they did nothing so this once no can be changed um within the meeting so let's say after you giving a lecture and then you will tell them okay i will now allow the mics so then you can simply uh um click this back again so that you they they will now be allowed to unmute their microphones so that's the beauty no of the meeting options and then again so sadly large gallery and together mode the large gallery the maximum number of students that the teams can see now would be four as of now no it's just a seven by seven or 49 so if the meeting has more than 49 students or 49 participants only 49 videos will come out no um function shift to another page but hopefully in the near future we will also have that the together mode is something um a favorite of mine as well it's an ai environment and different um locations merengue let's say example in a classroom location and then you look like you are in a class yeah ganon pusha so there is um it and they did not do it just for aesthetic purpose no um based on microsoft it's done from a study now that if people see that they are beside somebody not then they are more focused than they are also more um they they they are more um they focus it's not accessible because um i am the only one in the meeting again background defects merundinputa young different background so what you see on my back of course is just one so predicting and so let's say we apply this but there is background nothing or putting no background at all you can also add backgrounds not depending on what they want so for example my event let's say it's a party so let's say this one no um this was done for us if you notice students so that's um how do we um have the different meetings so i hope i am able to show you functionalities specific and then when you leave okay if you just press leave here then this will not end the meeting so since you are the organizer you have to check this not the triangle going down or the arrow going down and click end meeting young meeting so if i click this end meeting this will end the meeting for everyone okay and this part no will also end if you notice it's no longer here in the um teams okay so you meeting um another way to start the meeting is through the you can look here schedule a meeting okay if you do that so we will not open the meeting anymore okay but let's say you're scheduling a meeting so let's say this is um monday morning assembly for example okay i'd require the attendees if you are in the channel already or in the team already there's no need for you to require attendees okay they will already be um have a notification of this meeting okay so then we can set this to monday so let's say it's on monday uh 8 a.m again and then until let's say it's just 30 minutes so you can do that if it does not repeat okay that means it's a one-time meeting or you can schedule it weekly so if it's weekly it occurs every monday starting uh june 7. okay you also have the option to customize so put it in you put a select uh you you put an end date so let's say it's only for the month of june so it will end by june 28th okay so let's say instead of mondays it's um an mwf thing so you can also do that so it's easy to um schedule your meeting in this case so this time i will change instead of monday let's make it mwf morning assembly yeah so it will occur every monday wednesday friday etc so i can put details here if i want no um it's an optional thing for you so if i send this this is what it will look like there now that i scheduled a morning assembly okay um can i make this or change this further so i can edit this post and make it an announcement instead okay so let's say mwf meetings and then i will check so then they get notified this way now that there's an mwf meeting okay um and then you it's scheduled already so if we go to the calendar and let's go to next week every week no until the end of july uh june no so this type of meeting no does that mean that the when it when there's a meeting like this um can they only go in on that date no no they can actually open the meeting no anytime so long as it's in their calendar so that's why it's safe that your meeting has the different meeting options so for example i will edit uh this series okay so the meeting options that you saw a while ago you can also see it here so if we do that again so a browser will come out so a browser will come out and then you can do the same thing that we did in the meeting so you can set this to only me yeah and then save so that nobody will start your meeting without your um without your permission yeah so ganon meeting and voila meeting from the calendar you can click the meet now here or you can schedule no a meeting here puederin webinar live event so those are different things but webinar my attendees register not for the webinar live event um that's a shared putin different functionalities pusha the difference of starting a meeting in the calendar is that it's not um for example i schedule it here so this one you can do the meeting here if let's say you are going to select someone from the outside franco no animal francophone he is being invited into a meeting in the ms teams so on requirement if mobile kailang and popmak download ms teams if nasa laptop and pusha then um he can access the browser and then he can attend the meeting even if he does not have the ms teams account so you know that's how you schedule your meeting in the um calendar yeah uh discard okay so that's scheduling the meeting and also of the features in a meeting the last thing that i would just like to show you actually know would be the view of the student now so how does it look like in our different subjects yeah so if you can see uh different color coded so the different teams know they are movable um i i remember arranging it in this order uh because cae is the subject that they meet the different activities that they had and then now they got notified of the two assignments that we queued in a while ago may number one pudito that means mehindi pasa so here they can reply no in the chat function is again on now for the um students so the puss ms teams now browser again so young different apps on microsoft 365 so that's the view from the students so and they think no that's it um that's the whole coverage of the ms teams um hopefully you were able to gather no as much as i was able to give you and so very i know um that time no talagang and nothing foreign the basic part suppose there are a number of um questions not that popped up and the others are first-timers i think majority of the viewers first-timers are independent 30 to 40 participants etc thank you okay yeah um by default no the gallery mode of teams will just show you up to nine students so if there are more than nine participants then the large gallery option no will view the bachanine gray if you click the large gallery then depending as the number of um participants with the videos turned on now to see the different teams perform less than 49 so the 30 to 40 ki yeah and so that means there's a work around caesar francois [Laughter] [Laughter] um that's also for any for any um uh platforms uh video communication um we are try that i think the the um the vendors are also trying to maximize us as much as possible as teachers we want to monitor them yeah all right so another question is jinki how to arrange the names of our students nasser named una just i believe in the case of their ed most likely puyon in their specific regions regional so administrators this is a problem actually uh yes no you can share screen uh oh i think i know why because i am sharing the screen already you know my gigging confusing show within the meeting um you have the option to share your whole screen why didn't we share non-specific window so open your window nothing but nothing to share um if it's a powerpoint presentation puerto puederin open from within not the ms teams let's say you want to share something and you want to be able to annotate then it's better to open let's say a desktop powerpoint presentation that's what you share that was from the within the desktop presentation predicament share or your favorite onenote that's the homework the drawing drawing and so pointing by the share screen option in ms teams bustabot desktop sha now uh there are two things not in ms teams there's spinning and there's spotlighting when you pin nope there was still no spotlight the teachers would tell the students let's say young grade one daughters please paint the video of the teacher so when they pin it the teacher but throughout the months now the spotlight came in so the teacher now have access to spotlight my own video or spotlight a video of a student nagustoren mugshare so puedinapushan magawa so it's called spotlighting if it's the teacher who will do it for the whole class puedenque [Music] and i think it's very annoying because your presentation is very comprehensive they they are going you know they're they're diving deep in possible possible name to the possibility of really improving it yeah so um i think um sharing screen will also um have the option to share sound no if if yes you would include share sounds include share sound um with sound or audio yes thomas is sir ayan so you can um if you have to use uh different bots it image you will not be able to use it no uh one of the bots would be for example young forms [Music] actually i haven't shown you the insights app no that's a tool know that we use now that one we have to add it talaga in our team now that's one bought a very uh galeng and it's free no so the insights app will give you access to um what's going on inside your team attendance of students um how often how long did they stay in a certain channel so that's also a third-party app that i um highly highly recommend then will take maybe after 24 hours no be foreign it will it will not be a real time yeah much move no non student or guess a team so you just go again to the uh managed team ellipsis nothing or three buttons so from there pugna so then you have the option to remove the members now just a reminder for those of you who are already using teams or plan to use teams shared meaning my more than one owner kaio please be careful know who you give the owner setting access to because there's a way especially with the help then of the admin if i'm not mistaken my way to put it back on leaving a team and deleting a team are two different things so um you may you may want no na um awareness there's an option to leave the team there's an option to remove somebody from the team uh [Laughter] [Laughter] the meeting is actually a conversation it's it's one conversation in your post no in the channel okay i give you this badge because this is a learning management system we want to monitor technical initially my learning management system is for control it's for control and then monitoring at the same time no yeah so we really don't have enough time no but again this is a
