MAN VS BUG - Rimworld

so originally i wrote an intro which was going to talk about how many great things we were going to achieve but instead i we relived the nightmare which was cannibal village and we all know how painful cannibal village was well those who watched my twitch all right well welcome back i'm i'm gonna go with the assumption and i've done a nice intro for you which explained everything that i did in the last video because i'm nice like that so we're gonna jump straight into the action we're gonna go down and murder some insects oh no we're gonna deal with some mad guinea pigs okay one two three four five six actually let's let's be a little bit sensible here and gather some reinforcements here was my other melee guy there was two i made into berserkers ah this guy need some armor for him though oh we're currently making armor docsis what are you doing stop butchering get making armor we need armor for the boys before we go and start murdering all the bugs those guinea pigs were not exactly you know hard targets to deal with but uh horde of uh five insect chunks might be there might be quite a few in there so we're gonna be sensible i don't know why everyone's decided to have a binge party in the slaves room you know the poor guy is just trying to sleep but there's about 10 people in his room trying to have a party disturb sleep minus three i think there's gonna be a few more than minus three there buddy better news at least i'm getting a massive amount of uh hill route now which is good hey hey we finally got recon armor uh-oh oh for god's sake goddamn mech hives oh no it's actually got centipedes we might have a problem arising everyone hide in the makeshift shelter we've got aka the the fungus farm they better not kill my milk beetles otherwise we're gonna have real problems oh there that's not very cool of them maybe i can get this door open quick before they blast up nope they blasted a hole in the warehouse actually they're going through that way let's sneak around this way and kill them whilst they're busy blowing up pieces of [ __ ] in my base right get over there you cut down the whatever these things are probably shouldn't let that thing fire probably shouldn't let that thing fire that's probably more okay to fire ow kill them all kill them all gonna get the other side of that so it's just blowing holes in my face stop what are you doing all right the good thing is the swords are actually you know doing that we just gotta keep hitting those quirks and we'll be all right okay it looks like it's not actually doing that much damage to our armor which is fine go go go go go kill the ball kill them all ah there we go okay well that was slightly obnoxious uh great can you rebuild that one piece of cable that broke that wasn't the worst attack that was i'll probably rate that as the most annoying attack all right we're starting to have some real unhappiness problems now i think it's because the just mark got destroyed so everyone's really upset because of that and there's a few other reasons why but we'll solve them over time also we have another option as well to improve happiness and that's everyone go and eat some ambrosia and be happy go and take some drugs it will make you happy i promise go my children embrace the ambrosia become one with the ambrosia let the ambrosia take you i don't know some [ __ ] like that there you go everyone's much happier now give everyone that nice plus five mood buff i guess the good news is we are still alive which is always a good start for me as long as we get past like the living bit we're okay oh you son of a [ __ ] what why why have you got to do this to me all right let's send the soldiers out i'm sure they can deal with these all right beavers let's see what you can do well it looks like apparently all you can do is [ __ ] die yeah it's safe to say i don't think the beavers really had a chance all right let's do this let's kill them all oh jesus okay that's quite a lot of them that's a lot of bugs here guys you guys are coming out all right maybe there was a few too many here all right well that's all the bugs dead uh it only cost us uh some toes a thumb and the armor unfortunately looks like the feral merrell and this flak armor is [ __ ] but we got rid of a lot of bugs i think what we need is good leader speech please gray don't [ __ ] this up we just need one thing from you and that's a good speech [Music] okay uh that's fine halting full of awkward jokes and depressing stories that just sounds like my content [Laughter] in better news our soup has been made which is fantastic because we might actually have some happy people after they eat that fantastic lavish soup it's only taken me like two episodes to be able to make this quick everyone who's sad go and consume some even let the slave have some because i'm feeling nice ah look at that lavish meal all the way up there eight cooked insect meat eight cooked fungus [ __ ] spoil them i do all right well let's advance fabrication down let's uh let's grab marine armor because i think marine armor is going to be the one that we want uh oh go away cougar leave me alone oh no oh no oh no oh no god damn it you know what at least it wasn't the most important person in the colony that's actually just that's just just just annoying just just annoying that is we are all gathered here today because once again my stupidity and ignorance got another colonist killed i thought that cougar wasn't going to do anything and then it mauled one of us but now it's dead uh that's all i've got uh oh for god's sake it was lackluster oh why is this game being so horrible to me right i got i got an idea let's try and do a um let's try and do a conversion because then we might get the masterful conversion that will give everyone a good uh good opinion ah effective conversion ritual we'll take that that gives a plus three so i'm fine with that gas extraction researched for uh no reason no reason whatsoever all right get up your little bambi go take some uh go take some ambrosia and go and make yourself a set of eyes sir it's time you are able to see why am i such a good person mate making him make his own eyes that's actually going to cost us like all of our components but i think it's a worthwhile investment doctor's maze bionic ice uh let's give him both of them then and i'll do some operations put some eyes in this man let him see for the first time but i know he can't see but you know what i mean just let him like you know not be half blind i don't i don't like what it's done i don't like that that's very disturbing oh we're gonna do a celebration of justice we could do that actually for me boyd to get up from his eye surgery and then uh and then we'll do that all right let's do it celebration of justice get over there and have a have a good time play some drums slap some skins you know what it's all about oh for god's sake what's that like 84 i don't even i don't even i don't even know anymore i don't know what i can do i feel like i'm just a disappointment all round i i don't like his eyes some something's not right it looks like you seen a ghost hey man you don't know what i've been through all right we've got a trainer here at least though hopefully they've got something they could sell us oh they actually have some donkeys for sale i'll take both of them because i might be able to actually use them 76 components 610 steel oh some donkeys we're gonna be unstoppable oh [ __ ] oh a large infestation oh no oh no that generally looks scary we need to like bait them in and bottleneck them or we find a way to live peacefully side by side with the one of the two i generally don't know what we're gonna do about this they are very very strong i don't think we're gonna be able to take these things out we don't have enough armor to withstand their attacks like the mega feed still again the megapixels don't deal that much damage but the queen will go through our armor like [ __ ] butter all right all right let's uh let's just play it safe for a moment let's just build a wall there and we'll build a nice big blast door here and we're gonna pretend that this doesn't exist i think that's the best way is just to pretend it doesn't exist we gotta wait till we get our marine armor we have to get our marine armor and then we might actually be able to kill them come on roy dammit research that marine armor we might be able to withstand the attacks and be able to take these bugs out oh thank god inspired research we did a research command oh look how quick it's going up now oh we're gonna have marine armor in no time uh we're gonna we're gonna go with operation uh we're gonna kill them all uh this involves some very very high level plays you know what this thing is generally getting like bigger very quickly there's there's royal mega spiders now there's little royal mega spiders there's like giga lotuses this is this is becoming a real problem all right well here's the game plan we're gonna get marine armor to give our boys as much protection as possible we'll then bait them into this small room here which then will uh turn on the gas vents and the game plan will be to gas them whilst our boys will have their heavy flak masks on which will protect them from the gas so the bugs will get weaker and we'll be able to hopefully just stab them as they like sit around here and die that's the game plan at least but whether that's gonna happen i don't know all right we need 180 plus deal uh we have 94. in better news though we've ramped up production of plastic dramatically this is taking too long we still have we're still not producing our first bit of armor and they have grown significantly but don't worry i've also set up a blast door here with a door button so we can bait them all in and someone hits the button and then it shuts them in with us and then they all get gassed that's what we're going for here and if that doesn't work we we have to do a great migration i think all right excellent news we can start producing our first bit of uh armor we're only gonna be able to produce two bits of armor but that's okay um to be honest i'm completely waiting for the too deep infestation to be popping up here i won't lie i'm just expecting bad things to happen to me from now on greg can get over there and give him a work drive forgot about that they'll actually be fantastic i'm sorry buddy you're not allowed to sleep until that's built you're getting through all right maybe just pulling all night tonight and you might have that completed all right fantastic that's our first bit of power armor made we're going to give it to grey because grey's coming back out retirement we've almost got enough plastil for another uh another set of power armors to start construction and then we really need to go to battle oh really a [ __ ] infestation in the middle of my base what no that is so that is illegal this is completely illegal oh it's [ __ ] everywhere oh jesus christ oh my god oh my god oh my god no my type b or my cats oh my oh my god this is not good no my cat died oh oh i don't know what to do here um all right we're still in it baby oh his sword broke okay well he's useless it's just down to gray and morin i don't want to get too risky here lauren you stand there and you'll be able to just stab them as they come through note one tile back please and then gray should be able to hit him from the side here oh god they're [ __ ] out reinforcements look at these men look at them go oh no the that the royal mega spider is what will generally hurt we'll just get rid of the mega spider that's trying to flank us all right good good good go back to killing everything else all right royal mega spider that needs to die that will hurt that will hurt so much okay it's down okay good good good because the mega fees don't actually have much attack they're just strong oh god the queen i don't know how we're going to kill the queen though all right that's them almost dead all right that megapiece is going to bleed out anyway right let's back it up let's back it up a minute boys let's get back to base all right you can have the fun task of finishing off all these bugs now make sure none of them come back all right great go grab a warhammer we'll get get back out there all right my warriors need to take drugs they need drugs to keep them happy and then we're gonna have to go back into this hive and finish it off whatever the queen's doing let's get it let's jumper jump the queen jump the queen it's only cracking there we go all right we got a hit okay we got a stun on her as well from the here we go we might actually kill the queen all right we've chopped the leg off she's going to bleed out this is fantastic come on just hit her one more time shift oh [ __ ] come on no grace down come on maureen yeah she's dead all right can we can we finish off the queen just finish off the queen fantastic right uh we need someone to run over and grab our boy great uh right go and grab great rescue great maureen you're you're on a solo mission here right let's not get rid of these [ __ ] hives all right grow safe grey is safe oh my god we've finally done it we have defeated those pucks um i don't even know what to say about that that was ridiculous the fact that we got jumped in our base as well by even more bugs oh we need to get an electric butcher table set up and we will be and we're gonna we got a lot of butchering today this man has not slept for like three days and it's just running off i don't know pure memes oh man okay well i guess we played a game of uh tidying up the base now which is going to take a very long time but at least we pretty much have given ourselves an unlimited food supply as if we can get them all chopped up in time that is hopefully we will hopefully we'll get all these bugs chopped up and then we're going to have like 8 000 insect meat how's our boy with the infection doing not good [ __ ] sake that been left oh [ __ ] okay just remove his leg remove we took the leg in time before it killed him okay this guy roy has an infection oh [ __ ] me okay just take just take roy's leg as well just take his right leg as well we're gonna have to just take we're gonna have to just make more legs this war has cost us so much it's cost us limbs our own colonists man a poor slave had such a big job now to try and clean up all this mess oh oh come on no i guess we've just gotta accept that we're gonna be getting shelled from now on oh royal tribute collector oh my god randy is having some mercy on me oh this is fantastic thank you rowdy thank you so much oh really come on why is why why are you doing this to me tell you what let's fight these guys down here we're baiting through this little gap here where the gas was meant to be that guy has grenades okay well we had grenades all right now great god damn it don't fall to sleep god that's great you need to get up now oh my god i can't believe he's still alive i can't believe it also that guy needs to hurry up and die thankfully they dropped 20 medicine there right you need to uh can you like grab that medicine and like we you need to like tend to him now i can't believe he's still alive i just i generally can't believe we have survived that that was absolutely outrageous and he has absolutely no justification to be alive right let's get this base cleaned up let's just let's just let's just hope that randy doesn't send anything else off so we get this base cleaned and sorted out all right the good thing is we can make lavish meals now out of insect meat and fungus which is going to be super handy super super handy all right it's safe to say that this episode was an absolute catastrophe we had the idea of building a ship and maybe raiding some people but in the end it seemed like we were the ones that got raided and beaten back but we never surrendered we held our ground and we defeated our enemy and uh to show our enemy that we mean business let's end this episode with an execution we're sending them a message and to prove that we're not scared we will kill anyone that comes to try and take our promised land away from us human mech or bug and in the end all of them will die like this i rest my case
