MALTA TRAVEL VLOG | A Week in Malta - Valletta, The Blue Lagoon, Gozo & more

[Music] [Music] delay [Music] [Applause] oh we have arrived in malta i'm actually in another country so we have arrived in malta it is just gone lunchtime and i'm really tired because we did have to wake up at about it was like three in the morning when we woke up we haven't had much sleep and we've already had a really long day of travel the room is amazing what happened was we booked a different hotel they ended up using that hotel for like government quarantining and we got upgraded to this hotel so i'm not gonna lie this is amazing jack's having a quick shower and we're gonna head down to the pool there was a lot of admin involved in getting here we had a few blips couple of forms we didn't fill out correctly but we're here now with a slight delay i'm just really grateful to be here and chillax and like have a rest i'm just excited to have a rest you know guys it's been a it's been a long busy year and um this is my this is my treat to myself quick room tour for you so we've got our fancy dressing gowns in here this is gonna be jack's bed and my bed i can't believe how much space we have um got tv then little seating area here desk and a kettle my favorite part is balcony this is it with the sea just there so yeah this is where we're gonna go in a second i can't believe it i just can't believe it i can't believe it at all oh can't see me anymore i'm so excited to sit out on the balcony and like just chill on the balcony i've never had a hotel with a balcony right i need to get ready to go to the poo on our first full day it was actually very cloudy so we decided it would be the perfect time to explore and we headed into valletta which is the capital city of malta [Music] [Music] come on [Music] [Applause] [Music] when we got home the sun had come out a bit so we did some late afternoon sunbathing i also managed to squeeze in some video editing because i'm a workaholic before we headed out to dinner on the beach in the local town which was so amazing because we were literally right on the seafront [Music] this is breakfast so we've got chocolate croissants from the shop and we've got what i've got orange juice and tea jack's just sticking with the water this morning i don't think jack's fully awake yet the storm hasn't yet cleared but we're hoping the sun's going to come out soon when you're looking for a town darling you caught the sun no okay but yeah this is our idea of saving money so you don't have to buy the breakfast every morning and it's working pretty well these are things that real men do after a brief storm the sun finally returned and we spent the morning making the most of the swimming pools and beaches by the hotel [Music] so this is my lunch we've gone we both got the same actually it's chicken parmesan avocado tomato we'd book dinner in valletta that evening so made our way back there for the afternoon just to explore a bit more and see it in the sunshine [Music] [Applause] [Music] hi guys i can't see you because it's really sunny i haven't actually spoke to the camera in a few days now but hello we are in valletta again and this time it is very sunny um but we are just exploring and then we're gonna go get some dinner aren't we we have just had gelato though which is really nice although jack had uh we're gonna make it back to my yacht later on oh yeah the super yacht just over there um how was your oreo milkshake it was good i prefer the champagne [Music] so [Applause] do you remember what's on it it's definitely got sausage on it potatoes it's pizza with potatoes i mean good morning we have come to is it oh yeah it is to be fair we did spend the morning by the pool but we have now got our exploring pants on and come to the center of the island is that right are we in the center oh that's nice wow so we've come to mdina or medina which used to be the capital of malta but it's no longer it's basically like a wall this is a wall it's like a yeah it's like a maze of buildings it's very beautiful so we're just gonna wander around it's it's lovely and shaded it's really hot today it's like 29 29. degrees about 29 degrees or 30. but you can't really tell here because all the streets and the roads and the height oh wow come on that's cool please ignore my very bad sunburn i'm really good with sun cream normally but i think i just went in the pool and forgot to top it up so make sure to reapply sun cream after getting out swimming pool isn't that right jack yes especially on your feet because jack's got burnt feet [Music] okay so this is past easy which is like a maltese pastry and we've got ricotta cheese in there and we've both got boozy pina colada milkshakes yeah guys the pastisi was lovely but the milkshakes were wonderful this is so as i was saying was lovely you definitely only need one they're only 65 euro which was 65 years 65 cents sorry anyway the milkshakes we ordered a boozy pina colada milkshakes and can i just say they were terrible absolutely awful weren't they jack yes what did they taste like pure reference pure ethanol it was like someone had put half a bottle of bacardi in with vanilla milkshake you couldn't taste any pineapple or coconut just bacardi and vanilla we left them we didn't even finish them and they cooked the whipped cream on top and the marshmallow is kind of nice the actual milkshake was undrinkable and we're not the type to complain so we just we just left them i would never normally leave a six pound or six euro milkshake but this time it was necessary any any words on that journey videos me six was gonna get a vanilla milkshake and then i ordered the boozy one and he was like go on there and i'll get boozy imagine how nice the vanilla milkshake would have been [Music] we just got a very long and expensive uber to st peter's pool which the guidebook recommended and here it is it's a bit treacherous getting down here it's giving me durdle door vibes oh my god people are jumping in oh my god [Music] he didn't end up staying at st peter's pool very long because it was honestly so busy i wouldn't recommend going on a weekend because you can barely find anywhere to sit and it's just too busy and we weren't really feeling the vibes good morning we are just about to head off on a boat trip it's a little bit early it's it's like eight in the morning although is it which is basically seven in the morning in the uk but yeah so we've had to get quite early for this boat trip but we are going to gozo and the blue lagoon um it's a seven hour boat trip so it's gonna be a long day out i'm hoping we can just chill on the boat so we're getting dropped off in gozo we're gonna explore for a bit and then we're going swimming in the sea i think oh don't forget to pack the croissants [Music] jack what have you gone for chicken oh there's a wasp what was it called in italian hollow pancetta hollowy pachetta lovely and we are in is it say georgia square is that what it was called because they're we're in st george's square the basilico's just through there but we're under some shade and we've got a great setup here so we're gonna dig in now [Music] so [Music] to look this good [Music] who's going down the slide again is that your over there [Music] on our final night in malta we decided to treat ourselves to a dinner in a fancy restaurant that we definitely couldn't afford and it was amazing everything i ate was delicious and it was just the most perfect end to a week away i did completely forget to end the vlog but i do hope you enjoy seeing we got up to on our week in malta
