MAKING WAVY PIANO LOOPS IN FL STUDIO! Road To A Placement Ep. 3

yeah so i just dropped the announcement video yesterday and i just wanted to say thank you guys so much for your support really really lifting my spirits if this face mask was my spirits then that's what you did for me right now it's 9 a.m sunday morning i usually don't film on the weekends but i'm really excited to get this thing going let me show you the weekend drip we got the old high school hoodie and we got the pajama pants okay oh wait i have to show you guys something oh there's a buddy of mine tyco made this so when i dropped the announcement video he messaged me i saw your vid as a little jump i'm working on stuff with little tj if you want to send me some little tj vibes we can work on them i'm also going to try interviewing him for the channel first let's do some research okay the no copyright song there's no copyright song yeah it's the no copyright song i don't like copyright on my videos okay so he's a pretty diverse artist i heard a couple drill beats here a lot of piano stuff nothing too dark or too happy there's a nice middle ground there so let's just try to make a nice chord progression or the second one let's make like a quick beat [Music] yeah so what i am a i guess i could say i'm a fellow youtuber like i was doing youtube for a little bit but i'm also a producer and um see where else why did you go with this uh that's good or not i work with like i think that's enough it's enough i was gonna always say like i work with like little tj french montana and like stuff like that tell me about your team and the workflow going on between them okay so like how we work here like this is a great team surrounding me um so like whenever i make something whatever i can use samples from like any like random producer whoever just sent me stuff i'll make a beat and whatever vibe i think it is i'd be like oh i think this is something that little baby could work on i think this is something like you know future could work on and we have our team with our anr's and they send it out to their management so then they can use the beats so you're you're waiting you're not just sending it one at a time you're waiting for an entire yeah i'm usually sending them in like both just so they have a bunch that they can go through because you never want to send just one because if you send just one and they don't vibe with it then they have nothing else to go off of how bulk is both we're talking right now like 10 to 15. oh how often is this i want to say weekly oh my goodness that's a lot that's a lot of beats okay little update for you guys i'm pretty dumb because i was thinking i had to start completely from scratch but i have two years of beats and samples just sitting here on my computer so i gotta wait for this youtube video to upload in the meantime i'm just gonna run through all my old beats and samples and try to organize them into something i can send out this one's hard that's kind of nice [Music] yeah gotta use this one wait if more and we'll send them a pack of five we'll bring back the twitch streaming today now that the announcement video is out there i want to start going harder on social media so maybe i'll think about matter of like networking sometimes they'll just like get completely ghosted no one will ever respond to you and like sometimes you'll just like draw up a hat they'll respond back to you and you're like whoa wait a minute they actually hit me back like that happened with uh cardo got wings yeah i hit him up i was like yo can i send samples and i even sent like a bunch of previews that's another thing you can do you make it like a nice sample or whatever one like send your favorite ones you screen record them you throw them in the instagram dm just so they know like what vibe you can create and like oh listen to it like that's what i did i sent a screen recording of like a really good like r b sample that i made i sent it to cardo he hit me back instantly basically i was like yo this is crazy you told me to please send so i'm like how am i saying it what am i saying little tj little to j [Music] tj i'm not sure about whole ontario in toronto specifically my neighborhood we're in stage like one lockdown again so any chances of me you know inviting a rapper or something to the studio is going to be very slim probably until next year you know what it's missing ambience some weird ass sound like this okay maybe that and then a melody on the [Music] piano live recorded acoustic guitar it might be possible be right back okay the last one was good all right two more okay i want your take on this then let's say let's say boy one detects you slides in your dms send me samples what are you giving him what am i i'm going to be giving them anything at that point like i'll have folders ready i have folders sitting on my desktop which is samples just ready to go at any time and like my best ones too like it's okay to send out like the same samples like people because they'll flip them differently i'll just send the link and we're all good so you don't care about like the vibe or the genre or anything you just send out something good nah usually it doesn't matter the vibe because like the minute you start asking for a vibe any vibe that they're already in they'll be like don't be questioning themselves be like oh right now so you never want to ask the vibe gotta be cool about it i don't want them to know that i'm a nerd it's funny because i never said tap in before to anybody or hit me up i don't talk like this and then i should do one for my instagram as well then right i gotta take a picture of the table and then i go placement season i'll do the hmu for this one and then new emojis i'll give the uh devil emoji the bicep emoji bam bam last thing we gotta do not only in the series am i going to be you know just making beats and samples and then sending it out i want to actually talk to people i need you guys to help me come up with a a nice heartfelt message that i can send to a bunch of people asking them for an interview hey what's up bro most likely a guy interview sounds like two that's too formal can you stop by for a couple
