Making shot glass salami roses!

hi everybody it's paula today we're going to make pepperoni roses out of a shot glass let's get started making a salami or pepperoni rose out of a shot glass is so easy so we have our shot glass here right this is about one and a half ounces and then what i have is italian salami that is cut into three inch rounds and it's very thin so you can find pepperoni also that is close to this size so we're going to use this today and what we're going to think about when we're creating this rose is we're going to look at the rounds of pepperoni as halves what i mean by that is the very first piece we're going to put down into the glass we're going to take half of it that goes inside and fold half of it on the outside you can see right there half on the inside doesn't have to be perfect but half on the outside and then we take our next piece and again we look at halves so we look at halfway between where that pepperoni extends and that's where we're going to start the next piece press it down because what we're doing is we're creating the flower this way we're creating the petals so again we go down halfway right halfway so we're half in the glass half out of the glass and then we're also starting at a halfway point let's go around again and typically what i find with this is it takes about maybe 10 10 or 12 of these and so you want to make sure you're pressing down i can even do like this a little bit with some of it press down let's do a couple more and just remember to go halfway between where you see an area where there's half where they're together that's what you want to cover up so we'll do one more here these are just so simple and then we turn it over and there you go [Music] enjoy
