10-minute Power Hour mmm bye [Music] doughnuts I never more like do not oh there you go welcome to 10 minute power hour I'm Dan and this is Erin and we're today we're going to be we are at cuties and we're gonna make donuts okay you got below the nipple on that yeah what about it well you're gonna get high nips what do you want we are here with willow and she's gonna be showing us how to make donuts today it's me it's willow and I'm very excited about all our combo Rebecca do you want to be introduced and also Rebecca is here what type of donuts will we be making today willow so today we're making a maple doughnut yes yes we're also doing a blood orange doughnut I don't know what that is a blood orange is a is an orange but it's different you heard it here first these doughnuts really lend well to fruit flavor we're also doing a blueberry doughnut so yeah normally we start with a high five but we all just washed our hands okay well you could wash them well if you're basically all hair bands then that means our hands are clean oh you didn't wash your elbows [ __ ] oh [ __ ] I just the paper I gotta wash my hand over all right come on you're really bad so the first step is I actually already did it we boil up potatoes what we boil potatoes from Preiser donut okay why we put a pound of potatoes in every batch we're doing a half batch this time though okay look potatoes yeah did you check them out iron are they are they legit potatoes yeah they smell like they check out and then we're using yaks milk right oh yeah yes yes we have a yak out back did you did you milk the Yak I milk the Yak ahead of time this is about a tablespoon and a half of yeast look at these critters they're all it's like a live right let's see you stir it is a lot yeah are you serious yeah yeah uses alive so if I were to eat one of those right now would be like you killed sleeping murder yeah oh yeah go ahead a little bit go watch some mass murder Oh how's it taste it's not great so the yeast is we're gonna dissolve it so in like in lukewarm water I just want you to know this is our list of to do things for to make these Donuts we are here and I am mentally and emotionally exhausted I'm doing my yeast job I mean what does that mean it supposed to be like best but I realize this sounded like least yeah you should've yeah you're doing the yeast amount of work that's where we're gonna skull the one and a half cups and milk okay this one's gonna be fun acting what body part whoa oh isn't it great how boiling milk sounds like the screams of the Damned like oh whoa whoa dude whoa okay and I've slightly scalded my head tiny cats burn Santa Katzman next we're gonna melt the butter I love how like the one thing that's like the easiest thing in the world to do you're just like I'll take care of it yeah we're all gonna have full beards by the time they complete no joke it takes me forever like three and a half hours why you really really have to go nuts for no nuts yeah nevermind this is very dangerous how's that didn't you hear about the woman who got her skin ripped off or whatever with the honey from the cover of that song the [ __ ] are you talking about of the album cover I know exactly coaster of love yeah there's supposed to be a screaming woman in the other room oh my god yes yarn told me about this but I had I thought you were making it up one batch is about 55 Donuts we're gonna be making about like 28 25 that's auspice no no no individual Donuts you think that's gonna make $3,000 you're doing great and now we're gonna do we're gonna put potatoes in there hmm yeah Mazel Tov a little bath putting potatoes in here feels like we're playing a prank on let's see how well wisten the potatoes are I think you'll be pleasantly surprised oh it's that we're gonna use this thing which is really fun why don't we just use that to begin with give me a butt plug whisk in here a freaking hand thing it's part of the craft yeah yeah bruza bulk how dare you she was beautiful I had a roommate in college and I think I found this in one of her drawers why it's so hypnotic now we're gonna put in the buttermilk I'm gonna grab the buttermilk real quick stay here don't move what the hell is going on over there sorry to break up the Tea Party then just throw it in yes you're living at the edge [ __ ] psycho okay yeah I'm good why would you ask an egg happy you know I could do that for you you would do that for me okay joke's on you it's your floor sassy in here in goes the egg okay wait dad no it's half a tablespoon of salt a little more than half a tablespoon is gonna be some salty nuts like a Jackson Pollock painting we can probably work on the glazes now oh sweet oh yeah what do you make maple glaze out of maple glaze is sawdust oil mustard which one you wanna make first I want to make blueberry please cool amazing she's so the blueberry one's gonna be really simple we want a 1/2 cup of blueberry juice keep going keep going and stop do you know like blueberries Nate no okay all right let's cool I think they're gross we're gonna put a teaspoon of lemon juice in it oh that makes it much better then I'll totally taste it that's a lot of knife no no hot dog hot dog not hamburger hot dog no do you really care can you play Led Zeppelin's lemon song while I do this oh well we're gonna do it the rest of the lemon you could suck it yeah it's sucking oh you're gonna know really oh god that's hard to watch there's another half are you actually gonna be alright put 400 grams of powdered sugar I'll take care of that how much 400 400 what the [ __ ] that's like more than there are blueberries in the world yes oh no 420 [ __ ] oh it did say 420 for the record we had 420 grams like powdered sugar in there I'm losing so much powder it's really not that hard well why don't why don't you show him how it's done you know you don't really have look it's getting everywhere it's okay that's because I already mixed it down for you it are we done it was that it yeah then that's a blue bag oh yeah let's make the blood org cluttered what are this apron is is simultaneously doing its job and not looking good Aaron thank you can you put it half a cup of blood orange juice in the measuring cup of course I can't thank you vanilla yep here comes the niller I barely met her it looks like barf Wow it actually really looks like Bar Boone epic dings ah what did you literally just drink vanilla that's just like poison no ally you were right don't you have a little milk of the poppy this is Erin not now I'm really going through some [ __ ] over here I think the powdered sugar phase might be my favorite phase trying to get to 400 oh it's really close yeah yeah ah yeah don't know if you ever had those like little ice cream cups and they have like a little wooden spoon and yes absolutely that looks like do you remember like the little ice cream cups it would be half chocolate half a million you get a little flat wooden spoon that's why we're just talking about so was I reiterating to everyone oh it's nice ting you can see it bubbling they're all in there like bone eat it hmm wow that's really good super good like juicy fog that rolls I know I want to just sit here and like eat that until I barf yeah can I get a normal-sized phone yeah let's make the maple it's so excited I reckon you know wait to do the maple okay why why would we wait for something so wonderful cuz we gotta get to the to the rest of the flower cool yeah into it and we'll be able to do the maple don't worry I'm [ __ ] starving you've been doing this for what feels like years we're turning this into the 10-minute flower hour haha Chris liked it it's starting to look more and more like the thing that Homer Simpson says Marge [Music] Joe fold it over on itself and make a [ __ ] pie I don't give a [ __ ] you want to do something yeah you're putting too much space in between them dan you're wasting all this valuable dough how could I fit another don't donut in there it has the exact same number as your life line of that was a strong comeback I feel like I feel pretty good about it well I'm stealing them you see in this I'm stealing them steal them all right look at that we made some [ __ ] Donuts can we make them now and eat them finally for [ __ ] sake we're so close to it gently placing these perfectly cut doughnuts yeah on this damn tray with nobody else's help do what I don't need help but do you want help yes I want helped you ever like right yeah it's like it's got some heft and yeah it's so like ah yeah what yep all right if it's ate the donut huh yep yep that's actually time to fry the donut amazing tres and the quad that wants to sink that one just race anko come back up hell yeah generally we give about like two minutes two minutes first side yeah it's gonna take us days to finish these [ __ ] Donuts it really is kind of pretty yeah they're getting old golden it's got like a butthole look to it let me see it these look done is [ __ ] they're not oh yeah okay these are [ __ ] done right I would generally how wouldn't you do it Oh master donuts thank you if you want to have that like nice crunchy outside and a nice fluffy inside and this way well in you explaining it it became that way can I eat it right now anyway whoa that's how you do it and the heat from the donut will push it back and push it back and also makes it like makes it glazed kind of plays both sides yeah lays the whole donut that rules okay it just mm-hmm and now flip enough flip look at you how's that how's that look that looks great I love it no it doesn't you don't love it I love it why don't you just be honest with me well you're breathing smoke up my butt what's the term blowing smoke up my ass okay Louis it's in everybody to a Krispy Kreme no Krispy Kremes got nothing on whoa easy now those potato oh [ __ ] huh how's that really good yeah come on ha oh yeah it's a little probably a little hot walk yeah really is it super good yeah you made those Arab that Oh a super good whoa yeah thank you oh man that makes me really happy that'd be funny if they were bad mm-hmm fun right I'm gonna need to [ __ ] up rocket into space trail of donuts behind me good oh this is good mm-hmm just such an enormous sense of pride right now Wow yeah yeah well sprang we are now about to eat the blood orange
