this entire show is about two people having to make a cocktail with a secret ingredient stupid ingredients I love stupid ingredients I have no idea what it's going to be because I haven't been told yet it's going to be surprise for me why don't you go ahead and check the fridge please tell me it's not fruit Quake I we're going multiple choice this time multiple choice you remember I do remember these come I love Christmas you you guys will be able to pick from these liquid ingredients and also at least one of the ingredients from this sack oh wait there's an Elf on the Shelf cereal unfortunately oh okay this is good this is good I was thinking that might be an ingredients uh let's see here oh no El branded maple syrup and then we've also got oh classic for cocktail cinnamon sticks not bag crushed candy as Stephan said use one of the drinks and one of the physical ingredients and make a delicious cocktail the loser dies [Music] cool hey I think I'm going with that cranberry Sprite like it doesn't really mix very well with a bunch of the additional add-ons but I think I have an idea to make it work okay I think I think chocolate will be the way to go still under budget here you go we're back we got our ingredients Jesse how much did yours come out to mine came out to exactly 50 because we got the ingredients we needed we made a stop at Kroger and then they were doing a charity thing for Christmas and we donated the rest to charity a that's charitable of you I was a cheap ass uh I I did not donate to charity I came out to like just around $45 something so I got Bailey's and I've got two little things of uh peppermint RumChata I also stopped and we got Hershey syrup cuz they don't sell Hershey syrup at specs that weird right yeah you think they would what about you right I'm going in a different direction uh it sounds like you're going Cola I'm going Cola I'm I'm going Citrus I got myself some Gin and I too stopped off at a Kroger yeah to get myself some cranberries oo and some Rosemary wow okay going full very different direction yes very this exciting May the best man win thank you but first I need to give this gin a taste make sure I'm I'm not much of a gin efficient a so I got to but I know it'll go well with what I'm doing where the straws myself a little sample of what I'm working with just so I know what my base ingredients are doing together they [ __ ] welded this thing shut do you want me to do it Jesse I will give it one try wait there's a seam there I don't think you need it hold on there's a seam but it wasn't going so you got to that was yes I loosened it for you you loosened it for me look I got them gains all right like don't don't don't feel bad I'm I'm twice your size I don't feel bad why would I feel bad okay this is this is going to work this is going to work well it's so good now this RumChata the peppermint isn't super in there so I'm also going to just shake it with the actual peppermint oh where's that little what you need uh strainer oh a strainer yeah sure everything is in front of Nick Nick has access to everything if he wanted to sabotage you he could but I don't want to do that it's not like look fine winning fair and square Sports yeah honestly I'm probably the most competitive person in this fuing office so like if you put a competition up there I'm going to win you put me in a sucking competition against Kaiser I am going hog on those Hogs going to make them Piggies squeal make that piggy squeal I I I hated the energy of that actually here you go Jesse thank you the candy let see what happens if I Infuse these for a little bit just try to get a little bit more cranberry flavor in there yeah what happens Jesse would you like a cranberry he feels like I ate one of those forbidden berries that you find in the woods as a child and your mom's like don't eat that is this one poison you're talking you're saying that like that's a like that is a relatable thing to do everyone knows what I'm talking about yeah what we find forbidden berries in the wood but you're not going to find these berries in the woods these are swamp berries this is the most alcohol I put in my body in like months by the way and this like I'm not I'm not even using full jiggers Alchemy Equivalent Exchange Nick say oh yes finally grapes ah yes finally grapes cranberries whatever like what yep that's a win now let's try it with the tertiary ingredient soz I need to because not only do I have to use a base ingredient I have to use at least one thing from the grab at least one you're allowed to use more than one you don't have to I intend to I I I have some ideas for like garnish but that's more presentation than less about Flavor whereas I feel the uh the spirit of the challenge is using it for Flavor now theoretically with something so herbaceous probably cinnamon question is do I use a microplane or do I just go with the full damn stick cuz I did bring a micr plane cuz I'm that sort of cooking nerd so Jesse I think like you and I are the ones in the office that actually went out and took a bartending class at some point in our lives yeah how did yours go uh good it was like it was a lot of like studying and [ __ ] and I was I was top of my class even though I was 19 and I couldn't drink at the time same actually I like uh my dad was between jobs and he started doing the exact same thing and I had dropped out of college so my parents were devastated worried that I was never going to amount to anything but look at me now Look at me now drinking on the internet H I'm so proud of you Nick thank you Jesse I'm proud of you too thank you what's it called when the penis goes in the penis docking docking why do I know that both of the straight guys immediately went docking I don't even know if 100% hetero is really a thing honestly sexuality is such a spectrum in general so woke I can't believe team Forest Stars ruined because they're woke yeah we' ruined the the the government mixing in there too much yeah oh I haven't I haven't eaten today so I'm drunk very fast I'm going to use that elf syrup so you can put it in the thumbnail elf syrup it's mostly for a garnish but it's there oh yeah you used it that means we get to be like oh in the thumbnail we we'll we'll pose with it oh elf syrup there we go no yeah yeah do that to do that do that Tyler's hold On's we you're one of oh damn that's beautiful what the darn hold up hold up it that ain't the part of it you landed on fire I am what the beans I was joking all I needed to do is smolder I don't smell like this what did you do what did you people do honestly these look really neat um oh okay look like so at first this is not bad and I'm so glad I don't know like if if if using this as a garnish the crush candy cane A+ whoever this was love that candy cane tastes like peppermint I'm guessing hints of peppermint in the peppermint little bit of chocolate oh the uh peppermint really does parallel with the cocktail itself I'm getting lot of chocolate oh wow yeah okay so if we're going Christmas this is Christmas morning or a Christmas party where I got way too drunk and made out with Santa yeah honestly that's just genuinely solid I can taste the alcohol but it's not overpowering wow I I couldn't tell you exactly what's in that but that's delicious and all right heads up like in terms of uh presentation hey plus I love it and oh okay wo that garnish around there okay this this is going to be a very different piece from that and I like that already cuz that's a that's like the Chocolate and Peppermint this is cinnamon okay so I know this was yours unfortunately uh because you gave away one of your ingredients to me sir oh did I yes you did it took a lot of alchemy to F that work yeah um oh oh my God that's so smooth I don't even know what's in here but this does not taste alcoholic at all youd be surprised yeah no I'm I'm sure that this is a sleeper I'm sure that this is going to like this is one of those things where halfway into the night I just finished this and I'm more [ __ ] up than I planned to be oh yeah and the cinnamon the cinnamon garnish around here is bringing a lot of the um so we where again the actual drink itself is really subtle with the with the Sprite cranberry that cinnamon is like able to breathe I I I just call that the winter wonder [ __ ] yeah so that one's got a lot of complexity to it but it's also like I love how subtle it comes up on you whereas this one is just in your face like that one is just Christmas all over it's just a genuinely fun drink and I could definitely see this being on like an Applebee's cocktail menu for Christmas ouch the highest compliment but those dollar ritos will [ __ ] you up but this one this one feels like I'm like at a place that specializes in cocktails and it like hey yeah they're using a lemon lime soda with cranberry and that just works really well I got to say I the two of them I would order this one often I'm sorry Jesse that's hey I will again I'll say that one is tasty I would absolutely drink that if you handed it to me oh yeah but that one's just yeah I I haven't tried yours yet which uh what would you call Yours by the way like Santa's sack yeah I can definitely tell it's a it's a heavier pore than I used you can hardly tell that there's pilk in it though so
