18k and he glues wallpaper all over plywood
Why the heck does the arm cost 10k by itself jeez
I wonder how it compares with a well set up Linn LP12 set up...I remember many many years ago seeing a review of a $30k German turntable, which, while very very good indeed, still had a bit of "cogging" compared with a well set up Linn/Ittok turntable/tonearm at around 10% of the price.
I was wondering how it could cost 13 grand but then I saw the sheet of plywood in the first second so it makes sense
Does it turn in a special kind of way for that money?
... and it's an idler wheel model.. Just shows that it's not about performance. Rather, spending $$ on a thing because no one else would.
But does it play Stairway To Heaven backwards??
I'm a little surprised he doesn't have a C&C setup but some great woodworking.
At least 13,000 pounds. What a neat process.
