Makeup Tutorial!!

hello my beautiful ladies we are back we're gonna do an updated makeup tutorial today as you can see i have nothing on my face i'm very pale and i don't put any self tanner on my face because i break out very badly if i do so that's that's why i have a very pale face but maybe a little bit tanner of makeup you know because don't want to look too washed out anyways that's my little preface why did i feel that i need to say that don't know um but i'm gonna go ahead and put my hair up just for the sake of the video um also don't you love that these claw clips are back um i have this pack of four from amazon for ten dollars i'll have to link them on here but they are so amazing okay so just a preface before i get started that wasn't my actual purpose this is my actual preface um this is gonna be like my favorite makeup routine that i have i do have a lot of other makeup routines some that are lighter you know i like playing with different foundations yada yada but this one is my favorite go-to when i want to look really good this is the makeup look i'm going for so this is like all my favorite products in one video yeah and i haven't done an updated makeup routine for a while so i thought it would be fun to just have it in one place where it's not like a million frames on instagram even though it can be easier to watch on instagram sometimes i like that i can like kind of talk through it a little bit more on here but i'll still try to make it short i want you guys to stay here forever so we're gonna go ahead and get started i'm using my beauty blender today so i just went ahead and got it wet it's actually a knockoff brand from amazon that i like better from what is it i don't know i don't know the name i will link these i like them better than beauty blenders so i usually either use a beauty blender or a brush if i'm in a rush i use um a brush wow rhymes i like beauty blenders when i'm doing heavier makeup because i just feel like it lightens it up a little bit it's not as like dense i guess i don't know just things i make up in my head so gonna go ahead and get started my favorite ever foundation i've been using this since 10th grade i get to try so many different makeup brands and yes i love so many different ones but this one by far is still my favorite it's definitely on the heavier side that's why i really like um you know using the beauty blender with it because i feel like it softens it up a little bit but it is just overall amazing i use shade 2 and 2 buff never fails me it's amazing just a quick unpopular opinion i believe you get what you pay for makeup wise i have never usually been able to find drugstore makeup that i absolutely love i know that is like a very unpopular opinion honestly but i feel like i have never had the greatest of skin so whenever i try drugstore makeup i just it may be good for a little bit but i never find something that is like amazing coverage lasts all day i don't know just my personal opinion but i will say this concealer i found from my dear friend jamie it is from target it is um elf cosmetics and i think it's six dollars amazing like i'll give credit where credit's due like if i find some drugstore makeup that i love like 100 i am not above drugstore makeup i've just found that sometimes it doesn't work as well for me and i don't mind paint a little extra if it's going to give me like the best look so anyways that's just my preface this is incredible so so incredible um it's the 16 hour camo concealer i have a very light shade so if you don't want to go as light as me that's fine i really like my eyes i have dark circles so i really like my eyes being able to pop a little bit and kind of you know getting rid of those dark circles so i have fair beige in this and what i also love is that a little bit really goes a long way so amazing i'm just gonna put some right there using these contour sticks wow my skin feels very very dry today so just don't mind that i am doing the little nose contour that's been pretty popular lately um on tick tock and just pretty much everywhere honestly these contour sticks not gonna buy them again um i'm using them temporarily i don't really like them um i don't really like liquid um contour kits anyways so that might be another reason why i don't like them so just take it or leave it i'm just being honest okay next i'm using laura mercier um translucent powder i use it all over my face but i focus on my under eye where the concealer is don't want those creases um also i feel like i'm gonna get comments on like doing things wrong honestly i just do what i like i don't really care if it's right or wrong um and so i would encourage you guys to like if you like doing something that you found looks really good for your skin and that you personally like obviously like makeup is about making you feel and look good so do what you want whether it's you know the popular thing to do or you're doing it the wrong way whatever just do what you want that's my that's my pep talk for makeup wise because i'm definitely self-taught with makeup right and like to not say that i do anything the right way but i do love how my makeup turns out and i learn things on the way and i just enjoy it that way so hourglass bronzer luminous bronze light my favorite bronzer someone actually gave me a review of this the other day because they went and ordered it from my link and they were like oh my goodness i'm so glad i ordered that it goes on so smooth it really does again like i'm all for the drugstore stuff but sometimes when you pay a little extra money it just works even better and don't get me wrong i've definitely tried things where i've spent a bunch of money very popular brands like dior um and it's like terrible so you know you just have to kind of play with it and try different things out wow i really like to talk when i'm doing my makeup that's probably why i like always talk to my friends during my makeup routine but you guys are my friends today so you can hear me vlog you can turn off the audio if you want so i'm just i kind of like going in the three motion um you know and i really think it looks better if you contour right here on your cheekbone which is something i learned from tic toc yeah great um i think that looks better and kind of lifts your face more i used to do it down here um which i feel like just kind of drooped my face a little so definitely like that new little tip that i heard recently it's also really hard for me to see my makeup in this vlog camera but so i'm gonna like go back and forth and like kind of fix it back there where i can really look but this is generally what i do i really like doing a good sweep of bronzer on the jawline just to give me a more defined look a little bit on the chin i put a little bit right here and i'm gonna kind of blend that yeah here we go so now i'm just going to go back with my powder brush and i just kind of like to blend it in a little more i don't want it to look too contoured if that makes sense so just kind of making sure it's all very gently blended in together tartlette in bloom and i'm pretty sure it's sold out but i will look for it i got it from sephora from another instagramer actually i know who was raving about it and it's amazing it has just really good everyday colors i love just all the browns light pinks dark brown dark browns shimmery browns definitely you can use every color on this palette so and it's very blendable okay so i applied some dark brown eyeshadow and basically always the goal of my makeup is to make my face look like it's lifted up so that's what i did with my bronzer just to make my face look lifted um with my concealer i put it up here so that it makes you know my face kind of look you know fox like that the same thing with my eyeshadow i love doing like almost the cat eye look i just want that model-esque look that's kind of like this you know like kendall jenner just has i mean she does tons of things for that but you can get the same sort of look by doing your makeup a certain way so that's definitely what i try to go for with all my makeup so with my eyeshadow i'm really working on just getting that lifted fox eye look so that's what i did i left my inner um eyelid blank i like just having my concealer on there just to kind of brighten up my inner eye but yeah just going for that fox eye look okay so this is the blush we're gonna be using it's nars color is deep throat there you go fluff up this color though it's a brighter kind of pink um i just i have darker makeup so i feel like it just kind of gives my face a good brightness glow to it um it's not too dark so i'm just gonna put a little bit and i do not use that much just put a little bit right here [Music] yep then i love using a lot of shimmer not too much so you you don't want to look weird right but you do want your face to have a good glow so i like using a little bit of this powdered um shimmery stuff i should never be a beauty blogger or vlogger just literally don't even know the names um but this color is capri and it's beautiful i feel like the colors are not showing up that pretty on here but same thing with the cat eye just making my face look lifted sculpted i'm gonna put a little on my nose just because we contoured so we put the dark right here and you're making your nose look skinny essentially so you're putting the shimmer right here a little bit above my lip a little bit below my lip just to enhance those and then i'll put a little bit up here and up here so the iconic london drops i'm using original y'all these i get a lot of questions on how do you make your face look glowy this is what you need it is amazing it sells out a lot but i'm telling you i don't like liquid highlighter bronzer stuff like that i really just don't i don't think it like blends well on my face this though is so good so anyways how i'm gonna use this and again you want a good glow to your face you don't want to overdo it though so make sure since you're using that powdered shimmer and since you're using this liquid that you don't overdo it but it will give you a really pretty glow if you do it right um so i'm just gonna put a little bit on my nose i'm gonna try to get closer so you guys can see right here right here we'll start there i like kind of putting it on there fast the extra i'm going to put up here this will help make your lips look really pouty and pretty too next my favorite part of these drops is when i put it right here oh wow yep looks like i'm playing football right now but pretty soon here yep y'all are gonna be seeing the glow it is amazing this is definitely my favorite thing that i do on my face sometimes i don't do it because i don't want to run out of my drops okay don't smile next i do some weird things and i get my little washed all wet and i get off the excess makeup on my lashes i'm at it i did the same thing with the q-tip i take off the makeup on my eyebrows i just feel like it looks way better if you do this also for your lashes too you don't want makeup on there like foundation and then or concealer and then you go in to do your mascara like that's gonna be a wreck okay i don't think i'm gonna show this winged part but when i am going out i will do winged eyeliner or just cat eye eyeliner i don't usually i like just doing regular mascara with eyeshadow it's just more my jam it's a little less dramatic all my makeup going on here but we are going out tonight to like the special marriage conference thing i'm so excited it's wednesday i'm putting this vlog live on um saturday so we're celebrating valentine's day tomorrow but tonight we're doing this like marriage conference at our church i'm so excited they like talk about everything you can ask questions it's just like a great way to grow your marriage and like get talking about things we have very good communication literally don't fight all the time that we fight we fought last night we do fight quite a bit but like healthy fighting like we there's never anything that like we don't talk about so yeah definitely have hard conversations but anyways this is not even a part of the makeup video but i'm really excited so that being said i'm gonna do my eyeliner just because we have a more special night tonight i'm going to that conference so i don't think i'm going to show you guys but i really just um the hearing i'm showing you i kind of just do this okay i've been using this mascara lately it is the one by bite beauty i actually have been in love i've never liked a makeup brand so much recently usually i try them and they're like oh they're good this is like a clean beauty brand um at sephora their products are actually insane though they are so good um i have this i'm gonna show you guys actually this one the change maker by bite beauty wow changed my life clean at sephora it's like way better for your skin and covers so well which is rare i feel like for like clean beauty brands so anyways mascara i'm gonna try and do this about looking weird [Music] okay next doing my brows so i am using this brow soap it's a new brand so you probably have not heard of it it's actually local to arizona it's where i get my brows done and my lashes down arizona beauty co um but she created this brow soap she also does she also created products that are like at home laminations for your eyebrows really great i'm shocked at how much i actually really love this product and i do have a discount code for it too i use it every single day um it is great if you have a brow lamination already but you can for sure use it even if you don't i just feel like um you know my brows are already kind of being trained like to go up like this like the boy brow look so it's very helpful that i already have a brow lamination so this product helps with that um but you can definitely use it even if you don't have it so i got my little brow brush wet and then i put it in the brow soap and i'm just moving it into my brows and kind of forming them the way i want them and this stuff will stay all day trust me it's insane last but not least i hope you guys are liking this so far i'm gonna use my lip liner this is my favorite ever it is the kkkw beauty wow what okay there we go um it is nude zero so basically how i do my lips to make them look oversized but not like so noticeable if that makes sense i hate when girls like over align it way too much and you're like it just doesn't even look good so i just really try to do it just a little [Music] so you want to kind of over line it like up here but don't try to over line it over here of the accents and then here i like to overline it i kind of like to ombre shade it in so that again it's not like a defined you're wearing lip liner it's like a kind of ombre [Music] look and i'm going to end with the kim k charlotte tilbury hot lips lipstick um i also love kim kardashian's actual brand that's at ulta and that's the contour that i use the lip liner that i used um i mean i'm not i guess i'm not crazy about her face products so far but i do i have one of her eyeshadows i really like her lip products are insane i love them so much they kind of smell and taste like crayons which is like what's in this but it works so good she has the prettiest colors i gotta give her that i'm like don't know what's in this stuff but looks good this is so bad i go from like liking clean beauty to like this smells like crayon and tastes like crayon but like it's really cute so i don't know anyways this one is charlotte tilbury so you can trust it a little more i feel like um what prettiest color and there you have it the perfect nude this is the final look i feel like a new woman i feel great again this is like my favorite product makeup routine definitely on the heavier side if you guys want to see some of my favorite lighter products and just more of like a um you know everyday tutorial where it's not like so glam please let me know but these are my favorite products all rounded up in my favorite routine ever which i would say is like my main makeup routine because this is like my favorite one to wear so but if you guys do want to see some of my favorite lighter products um and kind of you know just not as a dramatic look it's honestly pretty similar i use a lot of the same um products but i would say some things that i do change up is using lighter foundations not wearing eyeliner honestly it's really not that different it's just um that i will swap it out for you know let um you know lighter foundation so anyways wow i can't think drinking coffee at home today so okay well i hope you guys enjoyed this little routine i will
