all right we're on it's Bud B time I am ready to make these bowls I'm super hungry super excited to eat it I'm super excited to show you this Greek tofu too um right so I'm a little bit late I hope people still come on but the show will still go on no matter what all right here we go so the first thing I want to show you guys is um the marinade I made for the tofu and I did this last night oh smells so good so this marinade right here has um almond yogurt it has oregano it has calamada olives has a few other seasonings so good has tahini has water all right and so that's that I'm going to make some Greek feta cheese some cashew feta cheese and I'm really into Buddha bows lately because they're so easy they're so delicious um super easy to make so all right so instead of eating cheese um we're going to make cashew right so I have a cup of cashes put that in the blender and then we're going to add nutritional yeast so I have cashews in the blender I'm going to do a tablespoon of nutritional yeast so a lot of people think oh well I have to be vegan to make some of these substitutes and and you you don't have to be vegan to make any of these substitutes some people just feel a lot better when they eat more plant-based stuff so let's see I got some oregano in here about a teaspoon of oregano and this is going to make pretty good cashew cheese substitute I have red pepper flakes and I make this a lot it's super good and super easy so I just put it in the blender let's see I got nobody on Facebook watching nobody on YouTube watching I got nobody on Instagram watching so I'm literally on here making this by myself all right here we go garlic powder I'm going to do um where is my vinegar apple cider vinegar in here and that's going to give it a delicious Tangy feta taste so I have a plant-based Greek course do about two tablespoons of this plant-based Mediterranean Greek course that will be May 18th and that link is in uh the description in the show notes on YouTube and on Facebook looks like I got one heart so someone might be watching it cool all right so the show goes on and so I'm really excited to eat this full so here's my Saturday plans it is do this I just I completed the course so now it's up for sale because remember as an Entre preneur a lot of times we we stumble over like oh is this perfect is this done is this perfect and get that cash finished is way more perfect than never getting it done so I finished that Greek course up it's up for sale uh and in the Greek course if you missed the plant-based leonese course you get that as well so I included it in the same oh yum I love this in the same package if you've already gotten the Lebanese course then I can't stop making this better up so in the Greek course there is so many delicious recipes I have um musaka I have spinach pie baklava Turkish coffee cucumber bite stuffed cucumber bite I mean I think there's like 12 or 13 recipes there's so many recipes in it I'm doing it with my mom it's going to be super fun I have nacho Greek fries so those are kind of like here's the feta this feta recipe is in there I just want to eat it by the Spoonful but I'll I'll control myself in Behavior so this is going to be a topping for our our Buddha bowl so that's ready and you if you wanted to make it more fine you can make it more fine whatever you want the flavor is amazing it is dried mint garlic oregano it's got all types of stuff all right and I'm going to show you oh and uh in the Greek course there's tofu svaki with red sauce and rice which is super good so this is the tofu marinade this has calamada olives in it I'm going to get that going on the stove I've been eating a lot of tofu lately been eating a lot of tofu um and the way that I slice this is they're not perfect because I want to replicate like if you were to um go to a middle eastern place and and they're cutting the the meat off of the like the Shawarma off of the or like what is the Greek meat called um I forget what it's called but if like guo meat so if they're cutting it right off of the thing it's like always weird shapes and kind of not super even so I make sure that the way that I set the tofu up is the same like it's not super even it's so then when I crisp it up when I cook it and you could do this in the oven too just going to do it right on the stove top because to me that's a lot easier um and I wanted to show you guys it beforehand so I didn't want to put it in the oven all right I'll show you guys what it looks like in My Pan and this marinade I did it overnight has I mean it just smells so awesome looks good too all right so I'm just going to let that brown up in this pan just going to let that happen over there keep an eye on it I'll I'll just I want it to get brown and crisp so this marinade has some tahini in it it has almond yogurt it has calamada olives has a lot of really good stuff and these recipes are in my plant-based Mediterranean my plant-based Greek course that I'll be teaching with my mom so all this stuff is in here all right let's get down and dirty with the Buddha bowl I feel like this Bowl's not big enough cuz for the amount of greens I want to put in it so let's get a bigger bowl all right so I'm going to put um and My Tofu is cooking over there so I'll keep an eye on that I'm going to make a base of spinach and this is super easy so you can make this take them to work make meal prep with it and it has all the necessary components so if you're making a boota Bowl you're going to want to make sure you have all of the necessary components so you want to have some greens on the bottom you want to have um guess I'll just put this right back in the fridge you want to have veggies on top you want a carbohydrate you want your rice all right so let's do this going to chop this spinach up roughly and I'm going to make two bowls if you're watching the replay let me know I know it's like Saturday afternoon the whole world might not be on Facebook right now all right chop chop chop all right so let's get the rice down and I'm just using white rice going to do about half a cup to 34 cup of white rice in the bottom of this a lot of people don't like white rice they have like a um kind of a that's a lot they have like an INX against white rice like it's like the devil or something but I want to assure you it's not all right and then I got my greens right here I'm going to split this I'll make two bowls tofu sizzling back here and you could really do this with any flavors you can use any vegetables you can make it corn you could put um whatever you could use beans you could add hummus to it all right so we got the bases done let's see what's going on with the TPU over here right now let that I really want that brown color y it's happening let me let it have its process mixing it yet but it's all browning over here all right cool I woke up so early today I was up at 400 a.m. and I wasn't happy about it tofu's right there I got my base right here but I'm in pretty good spirits sometimes I wake up at 4:00 a.m. and I'm like a like a wild not happy woman all right so the toppings that I'm choosing for this I have um cucumbers and I have tomatoes just keep using this tablespoon so I'm going to add tomatoes I'll do two tablespoons of tomatoes cucumbers we do two tablespoons of cucumbers and like of course you can do more the more veggies the merrier maybe you like U bell peppers you might add bell peppers do what you like there right and then I have these are called These are called um Easter egg radishes I mean they're so pretty I had to buy them so I'm going to stack some of these on some of these Little Cuties in here and then of course Red Onion I'm going to do two tablespoons of red onion that's a lot I'm just going to sprinkle it on this one here we go and then I also have parsley I'm going to throw parsley in here so you really can do really whatever you want um in the Greek course I have a suiki sauce that I add to the Buddha Bowls which is super lovely yeah it's Saturday I just got I got a couple people on here now cool what do you guys up to what's what's going on for your Saturday so this is what we've made so far this is right it's quite veggie dense right it's high volume low calorie I did use white rice because I love white rice all right let's see what's going on with this tofu getting some color beautiful that marinade phenomenal like I said it's got some tahini in it it has um calamada olives it has um yogurt Greek no not Greek yogurt it has almond yogurt all right and then I'm going to add calamada olives to the bable so olives have fat so this is like it's quite well rounded it has protein once the tofu gets on here it has fat there's a ton of veggies um and pay attention to the olives that you choose because sometimes they're not in brine they're in oil and that's just like like to me I'd rather eat my calories versus like eat oil oil is just like not very nutrient dense and it's very calorie dense so if you want to gain weight or something that's a good good thing just to keep piling in the oil but it doesn't do much all right all right tofu is looking good so I'm not doing anything special I'm not like extra flipping it I'm not um just mixing it around and letting it brown up so that it kind of replicates like a guo meat style oh I forgot the lemon in the fridge I'm going to use lemon and I'm going to squeeze it on top of the bowl perfect I've been getting that or I just got um those like giant boxes of tofu they're not giant they come with for boxes of tofu from Costco o so good all right so to food's pretty ready turn that off all right let's let's do it let's make the magic happen Okay so I'm going to add the tofu to the bowls and I'll show it to you and then I'm going to eat it I forgot the feta cheese do the FED cheese too I'm making two bowls because this is like my take pictures of Bowl after I'm done and then that's my go to town and eat it on camera Bowl all right so we got the tofu in here let's add some of this Greek feta that I made out of cashews do like a nice little tablespoon of that all right let me show you so this is like it's a Greek budha bable it's exactly what it is we have our cashew feta calamada olives make sure they're in brine not oil we have our tofu here that has a oregano Olive brine tahini yogurt marinade there's some red onions we have radishes tomatoes cucumbers the base is white rice and I also have a lot of spinach in here so this is full of vegetables it's super nutrient dense I'll be teaching this among other recipes in my Greek course this is my eat eat in the camera Bowl right so here's mine I'm going to put lemon on top and I'll take some bites I'll mix this all up and I'll let you guys know how it tastes so I'll be teaching the Greek course on May 18 and with my mom live you'll get the recording oh wow this is beautiful you'll get the recording
