[Music] hello I'm to show you how to make a nice looking terrarium in Unreal Engine 5. first you will want to make sure your scene has a sky atmosphere and Skylight component and then place down a few cubes making a studio-like area [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] next create a black material and place it on the cubes [Music] foreign [Music] after that you will want to bring an hdri into the scene to get some ambient lighting from the back of the studio make sure to set the intensity to 0.02 or 0.04 [Music] foreign [Music] now in blender model an excellent display case with all the walls being separate objects ensuring the UVS are unwrapped and all the materials are separated and labeled also check the face orientation to ensure there are no see-through spots on the model [Music] thank you [Music] now in unreal import the model and leave the default import settings they're good enough foreign set up the materials in the material editor [Music] once the materials are set you can start preparing your scene by placing a table and the display case and also adding all the materials to the case [Music] foreign [Music] after that add some wrecked lights to the same place where the lights are on the model [Music] now it's time for actually building the scene you should spend a reasonable amount of time on this because it's one of the main parts of a terrarium [Music] foreign [Music] once that's done you can add some foliage all around the scene making sure that the foliage scale is between 0.05 and 0.1 although it may need to be bigger based on the size of your terrarium [Music] foreign now you should go to the foliage Master material and turn the roughness down to zero [Music] [Music] to add the rain wet effect to the scene I will be using these rain material decals that I got from the marketplace there are many easy ways to make something look wet I use this one because it saves the most time foreign [Music] now it's time for the best part the post-process volume make sure to set both the global illumination and Reflections to Ray tracing and turn down the exposure to make the scene look even better [Music] thank you [Music] foreign and finally add the cinema camera actor to the scene and mess around with the settings until you get something you like once you're all set render a nice image and there you go you have a photo realistic terrarium running in real time in Unreal Engine have a good day [Music] all right [Music] thank you
