O mm Rando before that starts uh mm hundo is being run at gdq tonight in six hours by me thankfully not by me by competent Runners it's actually going to be a relay so uh four runners are going to be doing it passing off the controller it's who is it uh Pope uh let me just get up the schedule by the way gdq after like 15 years of having a very mediocre schedule layout has finally made a good schedule that is even embedded into the stream page itself so I must give credit to gdq for finally having a good schedule after 15 years uh okay Marco Marco dope Pope and Morpheus are running mm yeah I have I have been a gdq schedule format hater for a long time one thing I always thought was super dumb that they only just now are starting to do with the new schedule layout is they never actually linked players twitch channels they always just like listed the name and then it's just like oh you have to go put in the name yourself if you want to go follow them but now they actually link it I I that dupes a lot of extra polygon like a certain if it overflows a certain number of polygons the like floor Collision can get super messed up and it can force some Collision to like change into load great it's Ganon [Music] floor is it useful uh it's being worked on right now it's there's like [Music] a there's a nonzero chance it could be faster for defeat Ganon no SRM uh a few things have to be worked I think people are working on it right now they're trying to figure out uh the fastest way to set it up there so there's an outside chance it's useful for defeat Ganon no SRM um it also could be good for Max percent child because so at the moment I don't think it would increase the item count for Max perent child but I had always kind of wished that maxent child could end on Ganon without losing an item and I'm pretty sure now uh maxent child can get an extra item without or can defeat genon without losing an extra item so I would like for Maxin child to now end with defeating [Music] um what runs have there been I like the Metro Prime 2 echo run oot obviously um I know there's more uh what am I missing uh Metro dread was good I like that um yeah the Mario Sunshine run was really good liked it a lot oh yeah Mario Kart Wii Mario Kart Wii was great uh yeah mm is tonight I'm hoping that I finish this Rando before mm starts if everything goes well ideal scenario is I finish right before mm starts and I can raate into MM Halo oh yeah I was going to watch the Halo run but I didn't end up watching it I might go back and watch that uh what else have you guys watched any good gdq runs this week the dog run was cool and cute for 5 to 10 minutes I yeah I caught a small portion of that it was nice at first oh yeah Super Metroid task was good although I the Super Metroid task is kind of old I actually saw it a while back but it is it's still a good test Halo fan confirmed I actually have only played a small amount of Halo ever but I have watched I've probably watched more Halo than I have played but I've watched a handful of speedruns at past gdqs and they're generally pretty good halo runs are generally pretty cool yeah not not much in the task block this year HP wait was there a Tony Hawk run if there was a Tony Hawk run I missed [Music] it yeah is Tony Hawk doing a run at gdq I can't believe Tony Hawk is a speedrunner now yeah the Mario Maker glitch exhibition I watched that that was good always love a glitch exhibition uh Ganon floor might be faster for defeat Ganon no SRM so like the the one that just does decry wrong work to Ganon Castle right now small chance uh like I my my initial gut feeling is I don't think it's going to be faster but there's a small chance it could be half of skull to the randomiz which half it it just means that 15 out of the but I actually am considering that I might switch to emulator because I have started to realize uh there might end up actually being more downsides than 64 than emulator overall cuz like I I was thinking about it recently and it's like play on N64 I have to deal with lower quality and I can't turn left and right because N64 sucks and uh I have to use a worst version of gz or KZ for mm cuz the N64 can't support the full version of KZ and lag yeah so yeah I don't know I'm actually wait I should buy from the shop first so I don't know I'm I'm thinking I might end up switching to emulator as Collision to turn into a loading zone which conveniently and completely coincidentally leads to the last stream of Castle escape [Music] yeah the the fact that it leaves to Castle escape just by pure coincidence is actually insane cuz like apparently the list of potential places it could lead to is actually pretty small and it just so happens that the first place that anyone actually got was just Castle escape am I trapped [Music] okay uh it's unclear if it will be useful for a speedrun right now it there's a chance it could be faster for defeat Ganon no RM but it'll be close and people are thing about glitch logic versus no l or like any kind of logic versus no logic that I think some people also might not realize is that um if you have any kind of logic any sphere zero items that means that like items that take no items to check anything that's a free check they will always no matter what if you are using any kind of logic they will always be the most likely to give the good items just that's the way the nature of logic Works where that's not true in no logic so like even if I use no logic even if I use glitch logic with everything on it's still by nature of the way logic Works going to be more likely to give me good items at the beginning or good items with checks that I don't need much for which is also something I need uh I want that I like about no logic yeah exactly like it's going to give you early hovering 90% of the time like if I do glitch logic I'm going to get a shield and bombs early all the time like not all the time all the time but frequently which is
