They have a nice symbiotic relationship. The meerkats get to stand on the humans to look out for predators, and the human get to profit off of their adorable and drama filled lives.

there's a meerkcat cafe in the city i live in and you can go into a little pen and hang out with them, and i will 100% confirm they are cute as hell and get all over the place and inside your clothes if they can. they also get a little bitey, but not in a mean way.
