Madden 24 Superstar Mode! Episode 1 Creation, NFL Combine, and Draft!

so Superstar mode is officially back for Madden 24 and because this video is presented by EA Creator Network it is a work in progress build the game around a little bit early so thanks to EA for letting me get early access to show you guys what it's all about and for those who have seen my career mode videos in the past you know I don't use myself as the main character like I'm not doing a punter career mode I don't look in the mirror and see this guy so we're gonna do is we're going to take from a little series called Riverside if you guys watch the Riverside Royals many of you may remember that I'm gonna choose quarterback Adam Daniel he didn't get the career that we wanted at Riverside because of the series but here we're gonna try to revive that in Madden 24. all right welcome back Adam Daniel all he knows what time it is okay let's go he's got some crazy eyes though get that relax there's a number of different faces and customization options I'd recommend you check it out when you have it but I feel like what most people care about anyway is the hair and we can go a number of different directions here last year when I did Rashad Reese who just kind of is dream your kids with the Lions now I went with these kind of dreadlocks with the bandana thought that was a cool look but that's Rashad Reese he actually had that in Lions franchise Adam Daniel because it was NCAA 14. did not so there were very limited options he had like 18 year olds who were completely bald we're not going to go that direction I think what we will do we're gonna add a little bit of spice we're gonna go like the old school cam wake with the dolphins frohawk I think it's a decent look but what we could do to kind of get a little bit crazy with it is go like the Odell route and go with the bleach blonde and I think we're gonna do that and you know what as tempting as the Hulk Hogan let me tell you something brother mustaches I think we're gonna go a different way let's go with the hero because that's what we are we are the hero of our own career you can customize height and weight here height I think if you change that it changes your archetype so you get slower the bigger you get and uh you get faster if you are six two or below but we want to also be able to throw the ball you can see the core skill impacts we want to keep 85 speed out the gate so we're gonna go six three and 221 seems good to me although he's got my arms right now we gotta fix that in a hurry let's beef those up a bit all right here we go let's get after it that is so loud all right welcome to quarterbacks are in action here today and right on in front there leading the rest young CJ shroud the best Prospect Junior season with passing yard s 50 total touchdowns and over 600 yards on the ground there are still some code number one question where the cap is a day one starter in the NFL how things go today will definitely impact the way things play Chad Johnson yo what's up bro hey Jack we're gonna start with bench press how many reps can you do at 225. I'll tell you my number is zero um I couldn't get it off the the bar or the rack but expect the result 12 to 16 physical strength rating will affect the final result of your performance uh let's see if we can crush it lbrb is to build stamina left stick right stick to uh raise and lower the bar I think I think DTR had number one this past year Dorian Thompson robbed is under the Browns took I think he was like 18 19. so I'm gonna aim for that that is my goal and here we go massively hitting lbrb and I think you should let go of the bar a little bit earlier because it does you know go down a little bit uh after you hit it you know so we're gonna see what we can do I feel like we're crushing it so far it's all about spamming lbrb and uh keeping it in the green zone so we're doing really well so far we're at 12. I don't know if you guys can read that it says 12. really good at numbers I feel like I'm doing so much talking and now I'm screwing up I feel like I got into the red there a little bit that's no good we're at 18 though we're crushing it come on build the stamina back up we're at 20. come on lock it out let's go 21. I feel like that's crushing it where's the spot help us out here where's the spotter we're gonna kill ourselves in the combine 21 21 is not bad 21 is number one 21 it yeah it was DTR at 18. Tyson Beijing had 18. the son of world champion arm wrestler Travis Bajan well fun fact there Devin larrett never saw what hit him little niche reference there whatever 40 yard dash how quickly can you get down the field expect a result four four three to four eight we have 85 speed right now I will say if you can throw the ball running four eight is actually real good but obviously if you can run in the 404s and throw the ball you become that much more Dynamic but game speed and at 40 speeds can be pretty different at times if we can go low four fours I'm gonna be thrilled we just beat what was expected and the record for this combine so I'm hoping we can touch four four flat maybe even get into the four threes if it's possible you are limited somewhat due to your ratings you know if you have 89 speed with a little guy I bet you can run four threes maybe even get four two uh but for a quarterback here you know who's six foot three 220 pounds I think running in the low four fours is going to be incredibly impressive so that is what we're going for we'll see what we can do gonna be a lot of button mashing here perfect start we got to build up that speed I lost it I why did I lose the speed I lost so much speed what is happening it just stopped going did I miss time it five two nine well that's horrific okay well in real life you get two tries so not taking that score F what dude he just lost all speed did I just stop timing it upright I may have all right here we go perfect start Jam jam oh we're jamming we're jamming we're jamming we're digging deep we're flying four five two not bad if we could take a four five two are we closer to AR though all about that perfect start that felt like a really good start come on come on build up that speed build up that speed what what the f leas take longer to get into your set dude come on here we go explode out of the stance feels like a perfect start and now it's spam time now it's spam time oh we got we got max speed how is it I have no doubts if you have the different archetype and you have 89 speed out the gate you can definitely run a lot faster than we're doing but I feel like we're pretty much at the max potential for what you could do with 85 speed never mind I just ran four one seven what are you talking about that's a record by a billion John Ross has the record at 4-2-2 I wish I could give you a tutorial on that I have no idea how I just did that four one seven unbelievable okay broad jump it's interesting that they show the agility rating when this is not an Agility Test the same way that like the three cone or the short shuttle is this is all about explosiveness that's why they do the broad jump the vertical jump it's not about how good you can jump how great you are at that it's about explosiveness and suddenness and uh we'll see if we can do something great here anything close to 11 feet would it be absolutely absurd and uh that should be a decent jump there I don't think it's going to be quite at 11. it's the back of the heel there though I think that's a decent jump just nothing spectacular 10 11. 10 11 is actually very good yeah that's basically 11 feet that's the new number one over Anthony Richardson let's try it one more time see if we can beat that that's max power that's a good jump that's flying dude looked like Free Willy jumping leaping through the air soaring flying High School Musical I don't know that's a good job that should be 11-3 okay yeah we were we were crushing on that you don't really have to flick it the way it says flick you can just kind of move it that way you got to be a little bit quick about it but yeah 11-3 is absurd we will take that we are lighting up the combine right now that we're setting records for quarterbacks yeah change the direction I'd give you that for 20 yard shuttle run by rapidly pressing surface button props we'll see what those are I guess and then flick in uh wait I I love like four three I feel like be really sick here maybe into the four twos you see quarterbacks do some crazy short shuttle and three cone times so we'll see what we can do I don't know that I nailed that where are we four two one four two one's really good that might actually be number one for QBs number two the mailman Stetson Bennett had a 4-2 short shuttle unreal I mean we we lit it up I guess anything in combine drills where you're ahead of Anthony Richardson you're doing something right is it possible to beat four two one we'll give it a shot there also might be a limit maybe four two one is as low as it goes by the way that's that's an option our decent start here felt like we pressed really quickly that's killing it that's gonna be my best second yeah four two one it's gonna lock us out at four two one probably with this current build I feel like I was as good as I possibly could have been there and we're still behind the mailman unbelievable and our last thing is going to be drill so throwing drills our current draft projection is late first round I'd like to think we can boost that up we've dominated every drill but now we actually have to throw the most important part of being a quarterback here we go is that Zay flowers I think it is let's go ahead and Lead that ball out there a little bit early you want to throw at the top of the route top of the stem make that throw on the brake that's gonna be money if we can go uh eight of eight here I feel like we're gonna be as good as we can be there's Bijon Robinson Hook em Horns as many of you guys know I'm a huge Texas Longhorns fan or based on this route I could say I'm a wheelie big Texas Longhorns fan please don't leave the video there's a wheel route all right give me a break that's well times say flowers goes to the ground is a perfect throw you didn't have to it's like Quentin Johnston on a little shallow cross there we might have to get rid of the ball a little bit more quickly a little earlier he's running throw accuracy boost it up to a 78. okay we're gonna end strong we're gonna have a good game got the Minnesota Vikings up let's get some cred we'll do a prank war I don't know all right past skeleton complete passes within the time limit and score as many touchdowns as possible awarded bonuses for longer passes successful skill moves and celebrating during the play well I don't really know that some of those apply to Adam Daniel as the quarterback decent ball and it's not caught by DeAndre Hopkins you know what they say though he's not sure-handed I know there's a little dump off there it's a good route good timing that's a touchdown treyland Burks into the end zone just gotta get rid of it okay the ball needed to come out earlier but man DeAndre Hopkins is basically completely useless it's it's unbelievable I just gotta feed Trail and Burks that's why I can't throw to DeAndre Hopkins during the games I just got to go to Berks there he is another touchdown I mean it's easy throw to Trail and Berks don't even worry about Hopkins all right I'm gonna throw Hopkins he's completely useless I mean it's unbelievable he's so bad Burks only I went away from the method and we paid for it dearly look at that route look at that ball that's a touchdown speed 16. all right that's a little bit more open though we only have what seven seconds to make another play if we do this well we might have two plays all right that's gonna be wide open and we should have two plays that's another touchdown we're bronze right now but we're not gonna be able to find the end zone here there's just simply not enough time all right we'll throw it at DeAndre Hopkins there he is are we gonna beat silver we can do that all right now we're finding our groove a bit DeAndre Hopkins into the end zone I do want to go deep more often but those deep passes are just not successful we thread the needle there oh we got it and DeAndre Hopkins drops the ball dude why is he dropping so many passes and I went to a not trailing Berks and he dropped the ball only throw to traylen Burks all right never mind why are these routes in the low red zone this feels incredibly bad it ends up working out though DeAndre Hopkins holds onto the ball that's a nice change that's just wide open we'll take that this should be gold we have silver already 25 seconds to go we're completing every pass some pretty incredible coverage we're just gonna lob it up Hopkins Works back to the ball nice we're down all the way to about the half yard line and that should be an easy touchdown nopi dropped it okay we're gonna go deep for DeAndre Hopkins here probably go up and get it all right we'll take it gold medal okay game day Titans Vikings we'll try to be a little bit better here in preseason game number two I do want to change the camera angle to be better but at the same time it's more of a challenge and a different experience when we do it uh with this kind of lower the ground camera angle so I think we'll just we'll just rock with it we gotta remember that every play call dictates we're throwing the ball to treyland Burks and we're gonna be way more effective there he is Dart from Adam Daniel throw it to Trail and Burks it's 37 yards nice start we could also run the ball I was talking about what Derek Henry we'll take that though look at Adam Daniel 12-yard gain on the ground I like a trail and Burks touchdown on this we could potentially go somewhere else we're just gonna run didn't really get the look that I wanted there so we just kind of ran with it we got to throw that touchdown Trail and Burks throw it to 16. that's what we got to do find treyland Burke's good things happen it's not about DeAndre Hopkins in this offense we're seeing Arkansas Trail and Berks this is what you expected when you traded AJ Brown to get him essentially he's making plays a nice throw though we're gonna try this boot again I kind of want to run it from the wide side of the field we're just gonna check down I know DeAndre Hopkins was open there but sometimes you just take what the defense gives you and if they're gonna let us pick up eight yards we're gonna take that all day all right fine we'll run the ball let Derrick Henry do his thing that's just gonna be too easy for King Henry all right very tempted to just throw to traelyn Burks and we got punched in the face by the Neil Hunter all right yeah honestly we just needed to throw the ball instantly underneath and I got greedy wanted more with Adam Daniel and unfortunately we end up getting sacked it's a good throw sideline for DeAndre Hopkins big game you know these are really tight windows but Adam Daniels getting it done right now Freeland Burks over the top we couldn't get it to him first in completion for Adam Daniel ball needed to come out a split second earlier he won at the line I like that out well time bullet from Daniel that's a drive goal of three plus pass completions as well we missed a big one we're trying to go for chunk yardage this is the last play of the quarter which means last play of the game for Daniel we got to get that snap off we're gonna roll out of the pocket throw crossbody look at Adam Daniel hahaha what a play what a throw that's gonna be his last I mean touching the ball really right I don't think he comes out for the second quarter here in preseason so we are not done we're gonna play the second quarter okay well I got crazy because I thought that was the last time we're gonna touch the ball I don't know I like I kind of like that throw just didn't work out underneath we held on to that for really long but it's gonna work out you just juked underneath the first down you had it what are you doing pal all right third inches we're gonna get really different all right let's do 40 plus passing yards I feel like that's gonna be really doable with how we're playing so far we're trusting our receivers to go out and make plays and uh we'll see where
