hey everyone and welcome to another all about rv's video today we're going to take a look at the new 2021 and a half forest river riverstone legacy 37 fl th toy haul or fifth wheel this is a front living room rear bedroom small toy hauler in the back section we're going to take a few minutes walk through the inside and outside of the rv then we'll close it all up and show you what it looks like closed i did a captioning not we are available to actually start up front in the living room section and then kind of spin our way through the rv so going on up into the living room area you have a nice rounded step section here has a couple little lights there to help you get up and down a night you do have a grab handle there as well nice big window overlooking the back side of the rv here and then going on up here to your living room section now you have two opposing sofas here and both of those sofas will fold out into beds still gives you a little bit of room there in between where she could scoop by but basically you could sleep four people up here pretty comfortably you have a huge electric fireplace right there which is basically just a fancy electric space heater but it does look really cool in the rv you have storage on each side of that fireplace down below there and the one over on the right in that cabinet has some little tv stuff and an adjuster for the radio setup just above the fireplace there is your jbl sound system so you've got a couple speakers in here then obviously you can see the large tv here that is a samsung smart tv and that tv will actually recess down into the cabinet there and there's a big windshield behind it we'll do that here in a second you also have some overhead cabinets all the way across there as well over on the left side is the charge controller for your solar panel now the unit will come standard with 190 watt solar panel this customer chose to do two extras as they do offer that as an option we'll show you that when we get outside electric outlet on each side of the tv area here as well now the push button for the tv to drop that down is actually located right here so basically all we got to do is push a button and this will go right on back down this is on a 12 volt motor and you can kind of see the window area right behind there again day night roller shades on this window just like the rest of the windows in the rv spinning on around here you can see your theater seat looking straight at the tv area that is a power theater seat with usb charger port in each arm and cup holder in each arm you can see in that picture that popped up there this thing does recline obviously but this couch is free-standing so you can slide it left or right depending on you know how much room you're needing if you have guests and there's a guest over here sitting in this chair push it a little more toward the right side of us here and that will still allow you to open your recliner better if you don't have a guest and you want it pushed a little more to the left you still can open the recliner but you've got the flexibility of kind of maneuvering that around looking up here at the ceiling area here you can see ducted air conditioning running down the center of the rv this is a whisper quiet air so you'll see a return on each side up here in the living room and you'll see that in the kitchen area if you do the third air along with the bedroom area as well and basically each one is a whisper quiet air conditioner by dometic really nice high performance ac system for an rv but it is a lot quieter than the old traditional large square units that you see sticking down in the centers of rvs just a lot more peaceful to sit in here watch tv and talk to people and stuff with these type of air conditioners a couple other speakers up there in the ceiling as well now going on back this direction here you can see we have a little bit of counter space behind the theater seating there as well 110 volt ceiling fan instead of a 12 volt version so it's really nice ceiling fan set up there has a light and everything built in nice island set up here as well now in the island you do have some storage down here and there's also a slot for the cutting boards there is a dishwasher and a drawer over there as well the countertops changed up for the 20 21 and a half's versus the 2020 version i did last year of this model so it looks a little bit different countertop wise along with the cutting boards as well under mount stainless sink area there high rise sprayer faucet over here in this slide you have your dinette area and you have two traditional rv chairs with a little bit of storage under the seats there's also two folding chairs when you do the legacy package as part of that package if you're not doing the legacy version and you're doing the standard riverstone you can still opt in for the extra two chairs if you want there's storage on each side of the table down there a little shelf space area and the table top actually will slide out and you can put a leaf extension in there as well electric outlet on both sides of that big window there and there's also usb charger ports on the left again nice big windows there overlooking your campsite area and again those are dual pane windows with the dual roller pull down roller shades day night roller shades there back here you have six drawers and some little cabinet space down below plenty of counter space to put your coffee pots your toasters whatever you want to set up there and a really nice tile backsplash there quite a bit of overhead pantry space here as well and you do have a little bit of room up top where you could maybe put some decorations up there if you wanted to speaking of decorations right here you have this pretty cool infinity light that they put in the kitchen area here your propane leak detector down below here you also have some lights on the steps going up to the bathroom bedroom area along with a drawer that's built in there as well spinning over this direction here you can see the led accent lighting and stuff down there you have the large insignia oven here has the glass front light built in little blue led night lights above the knobs there and you can turn those on and off individually for either the oven light or the little blue lights you also have storage on each side of that oven four burner stove top really again nice finished off back section there with the backsplash electric outlet on each side of the oven as well some pull out storage on each side of the microwave there plus some overhead storage now this one is a traditional microwave they do offer a convection version um there's a shortage right now believe it or not it's kind of crazy right now in the rv world a lot of shortages and stuff going on so depending on if it's available or not at the time they build your rv you could opt in for it but some of these are being built while there's shortages going on and it may not have it you have the large samsung refrigerator here with the freezer on bottom fridge on top also has an ice maker built in there as well overhead storage above that fire extinguisher down on the right here you have a grab handle there to help you get in and out of the rv electric box with your breakers and fuses down at the bottom here that bar uh kind of dark square down there and then you got your fan return over there for your furnace that little grated area down there just kind of allows for some return air go to the furnace section there there is also some storage here and basically coat closet on the left a little bit of storage in the lower right and then the top right section is where your firefly system and some controls are we'll get to that when we go to close up the rv here in a bit spinning on back around going back into the bedroom area here you have your grab handle here to help you get up and down another window back here again this does open these little button thingies right here by the way are temperature sensors for the air conditioners going into the bathroom area here we will pop up a picture or two of this here to get you a better idea but decent amount of room in here you have the nicer porcelain foot flush toilet also has the better harder lid style instead of the cheap plastic version you got a nice walk-in shower there triple glass shower door that slides a little sit-down seat area there adjustable shower head bar a big skylight up above also have the fan up here and a little cabinet back there as well for some storage over here on the left you do have three drawers in a little trash can area down below nice solid surface countertop area here the truma on demand water heater controls are right there next to the electric outlet and a pretty cool lit up backlit mirror set set up there there's even a couple little uh coat holders and stuff there on the wall now stepping back this way spinning around here so you can see this a little bit there's controls for that fantastic fan [Music] there but overall pretty good size bathroom back here into your bedroom now back here you do have some cabinet space on each side of the bed plus overhead cabinet space as well so quite a bit of storage there there's electric outlet and usb charger ports on each side of the bed as well now you do have a big shelf area back here where you can set some stuff also spinning around here a little bit you do have again a closet area over there for hanging stuff up also your dyson vac which is part of the legacy package is in there as well now over here on the left you have the washer dryer set up now washer dryer is standard on the riverstone and riverstone legacy it's an option on their reserve floor plans tv here in the bedroom does have an fm stereo built into it as well and you have some more storage and stuff down there big window here overlooking your campsite area and you'll also notice that they do a fabric here instead of the hard valance just so it's a little less hurtful on the shoulder i guess you'd say if you happen to bump into it but overall pretty cool setup back here we'll pop up a picture here real quick of the bed and up mode so you can kind of get an idea on what that actually looks like when you have the toy down below and you are traveling scenario here all right we are going to head to the outside i want to show you around the outside and then we are going to close everything up and show you what it looks like closed as well we'll be right back on the outside all right guys we're now back on the outside of the new 20 21 and a half riverstone legacy 37 fl th we're going to start here on the door side and kind of work our way around so first things up this is the optional steel mist paint package on the outside of it which is mostly some silver and black and a little bit of grays and stuff mixed in but a really beautiful paint job they offer four different paint jobs the unit comes standard again with dual pane frameless windows on the sides here so it gives it a nice sleek clean look to the outside this customer chose to order his with the optional slide out awning topper covers and their topper covers also have the metal wrap so when it does close up it's better protected when it's traveling down the road from some possible tree branch scratches or you know uv rays things like that trying to dry rot out that material over time so a little bit nicer on the slide cover the unit has six point automatic hydraulic leveling jack systems you have two up front two in front of the axles and two behind the axles but again it is the hydraulic version which is a little bit stronger more reliable and faster than the electric versions you'll find on less expensive rvs backing behind this first door is your two 40 pound propane tanks with your auto changeover regulator so it's kind of nice they have larger tanks where a lot of fifth walls have 30s and some of your ultralight style fifth wheels will only have 20s now down below directly below that area is a gas line hookup for like a portable grill if you wanted to get something and plug in down there so it's kind of nice that even though it doesn't have an outdoor kitchen it at least gives you the option to get a portable grill and plug in now over here you can see part of your outside storage compartment area pretty good size compartment here as far as height it's not huge but you're going to have more in the back you'll see when we get back there you have an electric outlet up here also see all of the steel framing and stuff i really recommend watching the construction video of the riverstone they do a lot more heavier duty features for example this steel frame which is basically on this model it's your front living room but most models it's usually the bath deck and stuff up here in this area but this again all steel where a lot of brands this is aluminum so it's just not as strong it doesn't tie into the z frame chassis as well so again watch that video you'll see how the big steel bars come back they tie into the framing and everything just making it a much more stronger stouter rugged rv another big feature while we're talking construction here is when you open up the baggage door just kind of look at this this is a three and a quarter inch thick side wall where most brands of rvs are only two inches or less again a lot of higher end fifth walls are two inches your ultralight styles are usually around an inch and a half so big difference in insulation value being an r16 versus some of the cheaper versions which are like an r10 or 11 some go as low as an r9 due to the thicker walls and stuff like that they also again trying to insulate the rv a little better they put in thicker heavier duty baggage doors and you do have the metal slam locks as well now this customer ordered his with the four camera prep or sorry three camera prep system so you will have a camera going down each side and then one on the back as well they're currently using the voyager camera system so that is different where last year's version was using the furion version both are very nice but they have switched to voyager up here you have one of your two power awnings got them both kind of partially out here just to kind of get you an idea what they look like but they do have adjustable arms for tilting and water runoff they both also have in this front arm head and in the front arm head of the second awning back there they both have the little rubber plug you can pull out put a socket ratchet in there and manually crank it in in case of an electronic failure both of them also have led light strips you'll see as we walk down the side here and both of them again have that metal protective wrap on them as well the more ride entry step here with the shock assist uh basically this is real simple and easy to flip in and out of the doorway here and you can see it holding itself up there in the picture push button adjustable feet now you're also going to see you have the large folding entry handle here to help you get in and out of the rv there's also i forgot to mention there's a little step light down below the step as well plus again you do have your um light above the door there um up top here you have your power push button handle to get in and out of the rv here so you got a little key code there push a button to help you get in and out of the rv if you don't have your keys with you back in behind here this slide out is basically the same slide out they use in a bunch of their floor plans so you do get a storage compartment here where in some other other models this is where an outside tv would go but on this model it basically just is a storage compartment here and reason for that is they offer a larger tv to go back here in between those two storage doors we'll get to that in a second triple axel aluminum wheels goodyear tires when you do the legacy package they are 17 and a half inch h-rated tires we'll get to the specs when we get to the other side disc brakes standard on the two toy hauler models also it is part of the legacy package as well when you do order the other ones with the legacy package tire pressure monitoring system on all your wheels as well midship turn signal right here very nice to be able to alert the people that are kind of beside you a little bit that you're trying to get over a lot of brands do not have a midship turn signal really really pretty paint job here this is the biggest part of your outside storage for just your luggage and gear there is also a electric outlet back here as well but you can kind of see here rubber diamond plate floor you have motion lights in here that's one thing i was forgetting to mention earlier even in the front storage compartment stuff these are motion lights you can flip them in motion mode you can turn them off or turn them on to where they just stay on now back here this is basically set up for a tv so if you wanted to get your own tv which this customer may be doing because he did not order it with his tv from the factory so right here you have electric outlet you have cable and satellite outlets and stuff here for hookups you would get your own mount now when you do the tv from the factory it comes with a mount it is obviously a tv and it will have an fm radio built into it and because of that they also put two jbl speakers here on the outside but when you don't do the tv from the factory you do not get the speakers a little more storage space here electric outlet here backing up here a little bit so you can see this thing a little more back here you have the more ride zero g ramp door this is a great ramp door system here easy to use lightweight feel to it when you're flipping it up and down if you've watched my front kitchen video which a lot of you have a toy hauler version of this you'll see where i've kind of demoed this i'm going to pop that up that little demo section video at the end of this video as well so you guys can kind of see that type of stuff too reverse lights on the back very very important this thing's 42 feet long it's nice to be able to see behind you a little better when you are trying to back in and out of the rv parks and stuff like that ladder here comes down nice and low gets you right up to the top there 250 pound rating on the ladder you have some little docking lights up here you can also see the observation camera on the back again part of the optional three camera system there is an electronic key to unlock this when you are ready to put down your ramp door here you have four tie-downs in here these lights in here also motion lights as well the bed up and down button is right here you'll see i'll do a little golf cart thing that i've done in the past i'll tie it into this video for you at the end as well uh two thousand pound cargo carrying capacity back here and there's also an electric outlet back there now again i've done this where the thing goes up and down and stuff i'll tie that into the video as well when we get to the end over here you have more storage and this basically goes all the way through you kind of see there now down below here is your powered power cord reel in between there there's another door down there where your dump hose is stored when you do that legacy package it comes with this pretty cool waste master dump hose now this customer also chose to upgrade to the more ride suspension system uh really really nice heavy duty pretty cool suspension system here pop up a couple pictures of that so you can kind of get an idea what that looks like but i would definitely check that out as well something to consider it is an expensive option it's roughly close to five thousand dollars to upgrade to this but it could be a really nice feature if you travel a lot if you are a customer that just goes to florida for the winter parks for six months and goes back home for the summer you may not want to spend the extra money but if you are traveling the united states a lot or full-time living in it i would probably recommend that for you here is basically the other side of the storage compartment up top there you have your dryer vent and you have another security light over here now in here is your docking station your kind of hookup area here so you have black tank flush for the toilet area city water inlet hookup right here now when you hook up you can turn the valve to kind of choose what you're doing you know bypass drain normal fresh water tank fill city water feature filling tanks all this type of stuff winterization all done by turning some valves here again another motion light here you got your cable satellite inlets hot and cold utility shower and this hose is what that goes to there's a drain right there you also have a bath dump handle and a black tank handle here as well the unit comes with the truma on-demand water heater here there is an override on off switch here you have your controls inside which we kind of talked about a little bit but this is what it looks like here and obviously it does have a lid that covers it up now down below here under the slide there's a couple low point water drains along with a galley dump handle there is also your waste hookup where you would actually hook your dump hose up to as well pan and on up here you have your microwave exhaust vent your stove van fan exhaust right there furnace exhaust out right here now down below underneath here is your fresh water tank drain to drain out that fresh water tank and back in behind there you can also see your spare tire under there over here you have the other side of this storage compartment and basically up here you do have your jack controls along with the docking light on the front nose control or light switch basically spinning around here you have your gopower 1500 watt inverter which basically is running your refrigerator while you're using battery power and it also runs a couple electric outlets in the rv as well and your battery disconnect now over here is something else that's a nice feature that is upgraded when you do the legacy package this is the water manifold system so basically this will allow you to turn on and off individual water lines so for example let's say your toilet sprung a leak and you needed to shut it off you could come out here and do that and still use the remaining water system and over here we have our battery compartment and here you can see this one's being set up with two 12-volt batteries uh some customers want four 12-volt batteries as there is room for four uh some will do four six volts some customers go as far as doing battleborn batteries which you can get basically through our parts department or you can actually order them from battleborn if you prefer and bring them with you kind of scenario and we can install them here for you if you'd like talk with your sales guy about those battery options and stuff guys they'll be glad to go over that with you one other thing i did forget to mention the ice maker drain is located underneath of that slide back there so if you are winterizing or de-winterizing your rv that is where it's located at now up front here on this corner is going to be some of your very important data stickers guys the first one popping up here is going to be your main data sticker which has your production date vin number axle sizes but most importantly gross vehicle weight that's the most you can load the rv up to before you overload it and really kind of damage it possibly next is going to be your unloaded vehicle weight sticker and that sticker basically tells you the vin number the length of the rv that the factory measured it at and also the unloaded weight that it rolled off the factory assembly line your dry weight some people refer to it as next is your cargo carrying capacity sticker another very important sticker here basically just telling you how much gear you can load into the rv and next after that is going to be your tire sticker which also basically tells you your tire size but most importantly your tire pressure very important guys to maintain that tire pressure properly up front here you can see beautiful front end here with a nice fiberglass cap has the windshield on it that you see when we were inside led light strip on each side light there above your hitch box now this customer chose to order his camper here with the trail air ride pin box some customers will choose to not do this and just do the standard others will you know choose to do say the more ride box aftermarket so you know talk with your sales guy about those type of things and they'll definitely be able to go over that stuff with you now up front here in this storage compartment this customer ordered it with the onan 5500 watt lp generator so they do not offer a gasoline jenner it is strictly a propane generator if you want a generator from the rv factory you can also order it generator prepped and then put your own in aftermarket if you'd prefer over on the right there is the reservoir for the hydraulic disc brakes there's also a light up inside there as well again another motion light now another really cool thing that i kind of forgot to mention a little bit here um we'll take a peek at the roof they paint the siding of the roof material going down that roll over section really gives it kind of a nicer finished off look when you're looking up at your rv from the ground a lot of brands don't do that so again it's just another nicer touch to the rv and you can also see here we're going to pop up picture of again the roof section here but there's three air conditioners on this one two are standard third one's an option um so kind of depending on how you wanna order yours up this customer also chose to do the additional two solar panels that you can see up there 190 watt solar panel standard he chose to do two more uh the factory will wire that up as well so if that interests you talk with your sales guy again about that guys all right we're going to head inside i want to show you around the inside as far as closing it up and then we'll go back to kind of showing you some stuff about the garage and things like that we'll be right back all right guys we are now back up inside this new riverstone legacy here and i want to show you what it looks like closed up so what we need to do first is come here to our firefly system where our control panel is here again basically right by the entry door when you first walk in so we come on up in here and we are at our home screen right here so basically on this home screen it's going to do a few different things for us here one it's telling us our house battery status if you do the generator you can do the gen start stop controls right here water pump also we have our 12 volt tank heater systems which is really nice you know the furnace and stuff is doing a lot of heating of things already the heat pump option if you do that as well but you can also have these tank heaters which are standard turned on for multiple types of heat trying to keep your basement area warm and then right here it tells you what each of your tanks are doing as far as empty and full and all that stuff you can also set it up so that one of your air conditioner controls are displayed here this one currently has the bedroom displayed on the home screen and then another really nice feature here you have a master on off switch that kills almost every light in the rv except for like the ceiling fan and the microwave and oven light but pretty cool to have that switch and then just turn it right back on now right here we can hit next to our electric system and kind of see what's going on here a little bit with it we'll get into more details of that during the actual demonstration of the rv with you you can come in here to the light setup and actually turn on and off the lights individually right here you also have a little mood lighting and stuff as well buttons that you can push over here we get into our actual hvac system here and again this is ordered with three ac's two are standard this was ordered with the third and this customer also chose to order the heat pump option as well now this has one heat pump you could actually do another one if you wanted to it just costs a little bit more to do if you wanted to just talk with a sales guy about that as well then you flip over here again and we're over to our slides and our awnings right here so pretty cool setup here basically tells you electric ds slide door side slide so that's basically the living room area right up there electric osd off door slide and then you got your front awning door side slide off door side slide electric bed slide so everything's nicely labeled right here and also color coded just to kind of make it a little bit easier for you ceiling fan switch here and inverter switch there's also some little sticker stuff that you'll see in here over here if you have the paint option you'll even have your paint code up here as well so first things first we are going to run in the bedroom slide now i'm going to set this camera down back here just so you guys can kind of see what's going on back here because otherwise it will not be viewable from out front there so we're going to set this thing down here just to kind of give you an idea and we left the bed and up mode so let's see what this all looks like here for you it's pretty simple again just an electric 12 volt slide you push the button it goes straight in and straight out and we're going to retract takes just a few seconds to do now the nice thing about this slide is even if you had to camp with that closed it's not really doing a whole lot of interference obviously you can't get to the closet but you still could come in here and use most of your bedroom you're not going to obviously open that closet and you're not going to be able to get to a washer dryer but you can still come in here and sleep so pretty simple right there still again plenty of room to maneuver around and then you just push the button to take it back out go on up in here we are going to do these two slides next so let's set this down here and get an idea what this will look like for you do one at a time [Music] now obviously you want to make sure those cabinet doors up there are closed before you run in or out those slide outs very very important to make sure you do check that so it comes right on in we'll hit the next button here and do the same thing again guys don't forget to check out couches rv nation guys they are one of the largest internet discount dealers in the country the guys at couches rv nation will definitely save you a lot of money on a new rv if you're interested but overall you kind of see what this looks like here so i could come up in here kind of step over the corner of the sofa here and get two things up here if i wanted to spinning on back around here to look at the downstairs now on this we have individual slides down here as well but these slides are part of the hydraulic system so they sound a little bit different and they also go a little bit faster when you are hitting the button so this comes in really really close and tight fitting to the island area right here now you're going to see the same thing with this slide right here so when we bring this one in here this is the door side slide this kind of tilts upward a little bit as it's a flush floor slide and comes in pretty much right to the edge of this island here so you can see when these are closed you're not getting back there unless you're climbing over this island which is not fun i've done it but real simple and again it just takes a few seconds to bump it back out so if you are stopping at a walmart or a rest area or something like that the grocery store and you want to be able to come in here and load your fridge um or maybe you're just sleeping in a walmart parking lot for the night you could bump this slide out leave the rest of the coach closed and come in here and go to sleep now if you have your toy with you and the bed is in up mode you are not supposed to sleep on that um so at that point you would want to sleep maybe on the couch or something up front but i hope that kind of gets you guys a good idea on what this thing looks like here for the new stuff also we're going to flip on back to a previous video i've done of what it looks like with a golf cart in the back and a few other things we'll be right back on that side hey everyone welcome to another quick all about rvs video i get a lot of requests about seeing this riverstone toy hauler with a golf cart in it so i had one in the building here sold one that a couple wanted to see and i just wanted to show you what it looks like with an actual two-seater golf cart in it plenty of room in here i just wanted to kind of show you that real quick and uh let's just see what it looks like so overall you know nice amount of room back here even if you don't take a golf cart or motorcycle something like that with you still great little storage area the bed goes up and down all that good stuff but i wanted to show you that and i'm gonna hey guys and welcome to this portion of the rv video i wanted to take a couple minutes and show you the back garage section how this kind of functions a little bit um i want to show you the more ride zero g ramp door here this is an upgraded door system you'll notice there's no big spring across the bottom of here so this system actually works a lot smoother it also is a little bit lighter weight feeling when you actually go to raise and lower the door so a little bit nicer overall system but a key lock right here hit the key it unlocks as you can see it's not falling down onto me it actually is holding its own weight a lot of those spring assist doors can't do this it's real not super heavy but it's heavy enough that you know that you're trying to pick it up kind of thing so this right here comes right on down check out the beautiful paint job too guys riverstone legacy blue thunder paint but it comes right on down again real simple to do if you need to raise it back up it comes up and down really really easy you'll also notice there's no big bars or anything that you have to padlock again it has its own built-in lock there i'm going to move the camera a little bit so i can show you back up inside of here a little bit better now inside here there are four lights that you see those are motion or on off lights either way you got the ability to use them there now i wanted to show you kind of the function of the bed this bed is on the in-wall slide that they actually use in for by leopard it's one of lippert's slide out control walls basically um but it's got a button right here you push this button to bring this thing down now i'll put the measurements for the garage and stuff in the actual description down below but roughly it's about 65 inches wide and it's about 83 inches tall when it's up and then you do have different stages which i'll kind of list those stages out and stuff for you too but again really nice system you have four tie-downs in there the rubber diamond plate floor there's an electric outlet in there so if you have a golf cart like the one you've seen we put on here a little bit ago you can actually plug in the golf cart electric charger and plug it in and have it kind of sit down here there's two vents built in for fuming and stuff like that to kind of escape but overall a pretty cool little garage setup and again guys even if you're not taking a motorcycle with you a can-am or you know a golf cart and you're just full-time and around the country that is a whole lot of storage space in there you know you can take things with you a big full-size gas grill you know pack all your winter clothes or summer clothes in here out of the way you know some of those little knick-knacky things that you you know just couldn't give up when you sold your house and you know bought an rv to go full time that type of stuff can go in here two thousand pound capacity on that back garage section there again that does take away from your overall capacity of towing but you can do a lot of stuff back here with this functionality thanks for checking it out guys all right guys i just wanted to take a second and show you how this step works you hear me talk about it all the time but a lot of times i don't show it this again is the more ride step above step and this step on the riverstone has a shock assist so basically this thing will pretty much hold itself up so it's not going to fall down out of the doorway and really hurt you now obviously it could malfunction or something like that so still be careful but for the most part this thing will hold itself up now it's going to have a little clip thing here to where you can actually adjust these feet some of them will have a little quick pull pin that you can pull out and others will have a little push button depending on which version the step is on but real simple to go up and down this just flips right up inside the doorway here goes on back and then you can close your door and when you go to pull it out all you gotta do just kind of grab a hold of it pull it down and it goes right on down so real simple nice improvement to the rv step it holds more weight just a stronger step in general doesn't shake the coach as bad now on the negative side of things it does flip into the rv instead of going underneath of the rv so if you have dirt or water or something like that on there it will flip inside so you got to make sure you kind of wipe it down a little bit before you do flip it into the rv hope that helps explain the step a little bit better for you guys
