Love Sausage Complete History | The Boys

so this video probably has like a 95 chance of being demonetized so here we go this video has been requested countless times in the comments section for other the boys videos so i'm gonna try my very best to keep this video as clean as i can but judging by the characters portrayal and the boys tv show there's a strong chance that i'm just gonna kind of have to accept things the way that they are that being said this video also won't be featuring a lot of footage from the show for obvious reasons the subject of today's video is vasily vareshkin otherwise known as the great love sausage vos is a russian hero in the boys comic book universe and is also recently featured in an episode of the show now i doubt we're gonna get to see very much more of the character in the future based on how he was portrayed in the show but he is a fan favorite character from the comics so i figured i'd make a very brief origins video for him because a lot of people have requested this like i mentioned before but before we go any farther similar to last season we are going to be giving away a few copies of the boys vol 1. and in order to enter all you have to do is be a subscriber and follow both of the key issues members myself nick and garrick on twitter and that info is pinned in the comments section so now that that's out of the way let's get back to our video on love sausage vasily vareshkin's first comic book appearance is in the boys number 11 but he shows up in a number of different arcs throughout the series vos is a soviet superhero in the world of the boys and he is a close ally to the boys throughout the majority of the comic book series vos was a former police officer soldier and tank operator within the world of the boys for russia he was also part of a russian superhero group named a glorious five-year plan that included the tractor purge red banner and colectivo the superhero team takes its name from a list of economic goals created and enacted by joseph stalin in the late 1920s the goals of the team in the comic book universe was to stand up for the russian people and workers rights the name a glorious five-year plan also happens to be the name of the comic book arc that the boys first meet love sausage and that is issues number 11 through 14 where the boys travel to russia in order to learn more about a bizarre series of occurrences where superheroes and super villains were randomly exploding in russia specifically their heads were exploding in public the boys arrive and they meet vos their contact in russia who's helping them hunt down the perpetrators of the murders vos is a large jovial fellow who's extremely powerful and packs a giant you know what you know what he has we don't need to talk about it in the comic books vos is extremely powerful he is very fast and very durable however he cannot fly and he doesn't have the same abilities of his um love sausage that he does in the show he's just a big strong russian dude that's it huey and voss start a drinking competition with extremely powerful boos and huey naturally loses the next scene shows vos taking them to a local morgue where they start to suspect the russian mob the team captures one of the local russian mobsters and tortures information out of him the team slowly starts to learn that there's a russian coup being headed up by a gangster named little nina in the works the goal is to install little nina into a position of power by using the supes to reign terror on the country then nina will kill all of the soups and save the country she plans to do this by using a modified version of compound v which she's been feeding these superheroes for months the effects of compound v can be triggered to become highly unstable killing the soup who has it in their system thus their heads explode more importantly this can be done remotely with a detonator and all of this was provided by the vaught american corporation more often than not the boys do a fair bit of detective work in the series so they go on a number of recon missions they tail russian mobsters and they learn a lot about little nina and her vaught connections when the boys return to their hideout voss makes them borsch soup which is unknowing to vos laced with poison the poison knocks out all the members of the boys except for vaz and huey the effects of the poison were not effective on them due to the extremely high alcohol content of the booze that boss and huey had been drinking mobsters break into the hideout and vaz and huey beat them all to death hughie's left to clean up the body while voss changes into his love sausage costume complete with you know what i'm going to stop i don't want to scroll down any farther on this image it's going to make me uncomfortable vaz and huey start to hunt down the mobsters alone they break into a local gangster's hideout which is inside of a strip club and they kick the [ __ ] out of everybody that's in there to get more information a mobster tells them that nina's gonna make a run for it now that her plan is falling apart and she leaves in a private plane but that plane explodes we learn later that butcher had installed a bomb in um a device that nina was very fond of if you want to know what that device is you can read the comic but that device exploded killing nina and destroying the plane the boys depart russia having stopped the coup but not before butcher kills all of the remaining soups with the unstable v in their system using the remote detonator vaz is next seen during the arc self-preservation society when voss shows up right as the boys are fighting stormfront and he helps them beat him to death for more information on that check out our stormfront video much much much later in the series homelander attempts a coup of the us government and fails dying in the process however from that point onward billy makes it his goal to kill anybody and everybody with compound v in their systems he starts with vaz he hunts him down and kills him with a rocket launcher this ends the story of the mighty love sausage so yeah not a lot of information and obviously the character is a lot different in the comic books than in the show the show version is frankly terrifying i hope you learned a lot about love sausage in this video and if you did consider dropping us a like and
