LOST ARK | Predator Slayer: Job Class For Newer Players + 5 Quick Tips For Beginners

what's up YouTube it's your boy SRE and I'm back with another lost AR related video in this video I wanted to talk about Slayer specifically the Predator variant um of the Slayer um a lot of newer players when coming to the game they often ask what job class should I play what should I start with uh on Reddit in chat wherever in general and Predator Slayer is often at the top of the food chain top of the list here when uh veteran players recommend a class to a newer player so in this video I just wanted to go over quickly briefly why that is why do veteran players recommend this class to newer players and uh five quick and easy tips geared towards beginner players on how to optimize your damage and your Predator Slayer gameplay um as always if you like this sort of content or if you p.m. pstd so yeah come check me out anyways uh let's get right to the video so besides the two big obvious reasons uh why players or newer players should play Predator Slayer and why so many veteran players recommend it to newer players is because the class is easy to play um the main attribute or main stat of the Slayer is swiftness which makes the class extremely mobile uh not only is it extremely mobile or mobile whatever you know whatever Annunciation you want to you know use there it has an easy to understand skill rotation and it does a ton of damage while remaining mobile uh so in short newer players will be able to still output a respectable amount of damage in a raid while a veteran player can absolutely hard carry a raid with this job class so quick tip number one Slayer is a back attack class so you do that is one drawback of the Slayer I guess uh is you do have to chase the boss's cheeks to optimize the uh slayer's damage along with that uh at the current recording of this video uh it uses the inp Set uh equipment set and um uh a quick tip for you know back attack classes is that you can actually change the display color of the back attack indicator and you can do that in settings so if you go to settings here and then you go to combat related settings and you would usually see this right and then you scroll down you see front attack indicator and back ATT attack indicator by default this is the top one is white and the bottom one's blue but I made front attack indicator blue and the back attack indicator red so I can see it easier so I know where I need to go when I want to uh burst with my Slayer I'll kind of show you briefly what that looks like as you can see the front attack front attack indicator is blue while the back is is red here and you see that I do more and you will do more damage with the Slayer if you attack from the back uh my second tip is that uh The Awakening skill execute if you look right here um this is more for uh meter generation at the beginning of a fight instead of damage um so for instance if I use it here you see how my meter goes all the way up here and then I can instantly go into Bur if I want to um it's more used for that than for damage although you can use it for damage in between skill rotations um for you know a little bit of Chip damage here and there so don't be afraid to use it but that's what execute is mainly used for um quick tip number three brutal impact volcanic eruption and Guillotine are your main three DPS skills uh those are going to be your three strongest uh damage dealing abilities that the Predator Slayer offers so you basically want to make sure that these three abilities are up before you go into burst mode or that they're almost going to be off cool down um like if you see like 2 seconds left on Brutal impact you can safely go into burst mode so boom just to get off some quick rotate uh quick skills there there's probably optimal skill r ation um in the Lost Arc Nexus guide which I will link down below but that's the basic idea of um Predator Slayer quick tip number four uh lostar nix's guide has an optimal skill rotation in the guide but the you want the basic idea is that you want to make sure that you proc your wild stomp before you go into your main before you start doing your main DPS skills so for instance the reason why I say that is because if you look closely at uh your wild stomp ability it has a tripod that gives 6% damage for 10 seconds that's for your party members and for you too as well so a quick rotation would be this boom if you want to prioritize getting your abilities off obviously this is probably not optimal but I'm just giving you guys a basic idea of what to do quick tip number five and a final quick tip is that you want to make sure you have the right stats on your accessories for instance Predator Slayer specifically looks for Swift and crit on their necklace and then it's pretty simple swiftness for the rest of the accessories here your two earrings and your two rings will have to have swiftness now one thing that uh newer players often Overlook or they just don't know is is that your pet actually gives you a 10% buff on whatever stat you want so for instance if I pull up my pet menu here you can see that I have my pet giving me a plus 10% uh stat increase in swiftness uh you can change that at the pet management MPC if you go to any major city uh and I say major city but if you go to Nia Village for example in punica but there it's it's everywhere honestly but if you go type in pet management you can go to this MPC and you can type this in any major city and you can change the stat uh from whatever it is I think usually by default it's crit 10 plus 10% but uh for predator Slayer you want plus 10% swiftness now this goes for any job class if you are playing for example a specialization like if I was playing Punisher Slayer I'd look for plus 10% uh plus 10% in specialization instead of swiftness and that can be changed at again at the pet management MPC if you made it to the end of the video thank you so much for watching I appreciate it so much um I know I wasn't able to cover everything about the Slayer um if I wanted to you know make a whole video or in-depth guide about the slay to be an easy 20 to 30 minute video but uh I just wanted to give some quick and easy tips for
