hi everyone welcome back to an updated guide for Lost Art machinist post March balance patch this guide will go through the changes to machinists in both Legacy and arthenian most recent balance match at this time does not change the playstyle of both builds but opens up possibilities of optimizations and certain variation in this video I will go through changes and new variation as well as their reasoning on top of that I will be answering some of the more common questions that has been asked as well such as ancient build variations or two skill transformations my automatic profile can be found in the description and you can find me on my twitch Channel almost every day and with that let's get into the changes itself we begin with other teamian skill changes as there are slightly more changes to ardenian to begin with there are a base damage buff on yellow SMG skills by 8 percent on top of that the Argentinian class engraving buff now will also affect the yellow SMG skills which further Buffs it depending on the level of the class Engraving this buff gives more damage to all ardatinian build but is a higher buff to 4-2 bills due to the use of strategic fire there are also drone skills that were buffed with either tripod changes or quality of life such as faster rate missile animation and damage increase for flare beam in the end the playstyle of Argentinian skills Remains the Same but there is an addition to a different build variation most Argentinian players are familiar with the standard 42 build and the 332 build with their respective pros and cons [Music] after this balance patch there is a new 332 build with using flare beam instead of carted this particular build uses flare Beam for a more consistent update lower damage ceiling for a 332 build variation flare beam also provides a level 2 weak point utility which could also help Arthur minion build a lot the downside of this build is that there is no battery tripod on flare beam which could lead into battery issues on a full Uptown fights since the play style Remains the Same there will be no changes needed on studs Engravings and ruins the recent balance patch is a relatively simple buff to ardadinian and added operation of flare Beam for you to use if necessary or preferred and now we will move on into Legacy of evolution changes Legacy of evolution changes are relatively simple in which the class engraving now resets your skills when you enter hypersync state this reset includes all high pressing skills and your space bar and wake up skill this gives even more survivability to Legacy as being able to reset your spacebar and wake up cooldown can help you survive even more it also allows you to make use of the mobility of spacebars since it will be reset when you re-enter hypersync while this change might seem to not affect Legacy damage as much this changes the rotation of the Legacy which results in a buff when played properly this change also allows you to always use three Crimson Breakers in every High pressing use and should be your aim when it comes to optimizing damage when it comes to the rotation there are two different variations you can use as explained in my earlier video for Mercedes optimization Legacy rotation relies on the starting sequence and the rest will fall together as they come off cooldown the first rotation that yields the most number provided full uptime starts with q r s a q e w as with the use of this rotation prioritize Crimson breaker when it comes off cooldown the second rotation you might consider is a rotation that does less damage but something you might consider if you use Legacy at level 3. the reason for this is because at Legacy 3 you would want to Stack Up the three Legacy buff for 18 damage increase before using your stronger skill this second rotation that you might consider is starting with w q r s a q e and as usual with the other rotation prior gas Crimson breaker when it comes off cooldown these two rotations are what you should consider and can be done whenever you re-enter High pressing getting three Clues and Breakers will be your aim and will show whether you are able to optimize properly in actual raid scenario or not note that hitting your skills reduce the cooldown of other skills by 0.5 seconds so missing skills on bosses can result in not getting 3 crimson Breakers this shows that you need to optimize and hit your skills properly [Music] these are the main changes that comes to both Legacy and Argentinian and now we move on to the more common questions when it comes to Machinists the first and one of the most common question is whether you should always get an excellent beam her attack and sacrificing skill usage or Comet strike to hit the head the answer to this is that it is always preferred to get her attack on excellent B however these are not your highest priority and it is better to keep rolling your skills even without the heart attack of course it is best if you can use Comet strike and hit your enemies as you hit heart attack with Echelon beam right after that but it is more damage to just hit all of your skills and get the zero five second cooldown reduction focusing yourself too much into her attack can lose you skill usages such as the triple Crimson breaker and it would be a damage loss by then the next question is with his changes his cooldown reduction GM much more valuable for legacy now the answer to that is cbrgm has always been valuable and while the value Rises after this patch it does not change its standing you could always reprogram some breaker even with level 7 CDR gym but having a level 10 CDR gym gives you more leeway in terms of timing to still get Triple Crimson breaker when there are small down times in between in the end it is still one of your lowest priority or damage increase for you to get the higher CDR gym [Music] the last question is when it comes to refilling your gauge what rotation should you do and what about two skill transformations two-scale transformation can be achieved with 1771 specialty and also one legendary and one purple well thrown on raid missiles and baby drones and all level 5 generation tripods while it is good to have this specialty for two skill transformation I recommend to not fixate on getting this 1771 specialty what I recommend is get as high specialty as you can not because of the two skills but for high pressing damage only fix it in yourself on two skills are not a good idea because of the finicky nature of drone skills out of all 12 hits raid missiles and 9 hits of baby drone if you miss only one of them you will end up with 99 gauge and if you fail to realize that you will try to transform but unable to this slows down your rotation and will result in a DPS loss for this I recommend to get used to using three skill anyway to transform and let me explain how I do it myself people seem to think that their skill need to be something like flare beam or energy Buster but in my opinion they are too slow in case of mine I use fiery Escape as my third skill but you are free to use anything else my rotation to re-enter hypersync makes use of Animation cancel and takes a relatively similar time to just using two skills as shown in the video to break it down I use red missiles into Mobile shot recall drone to use the baby drones into Mobile shot then animation cancel into fiery Escape this gives you the fiery Escape Shield buffer and the speed buff which speeds up your transformation animation at the start and gives you more tankiness you can practice this rotation until you're used to it and to help you with re-entering hypersync and now we'll move on to the engraving variations with browsers are hard coming up soon ancient accessories will be something you will have to consider this means considering the 5x3 and 1 options as it will become more and more common over time when it comes to Argentinian one of the two versions you can go for are Grudge raid Captain kin blonde Mass increase adrenaline and althenian one this engraved information is stronger provided you always maintain full text of adrenaline the second variation is the same Engravings except with argotimian 3 and adrenaline 1. this engraving variation has slightly lower ceiling but more consistent due to the less Reliance on adrenaline stacks for legacy one of the two variation of Engravings are Grudge raid Captain kin blonde adrenaline barricade and Legacy one this yield the most damage in full of time assuming always full stacks of adrenaline the second variation and the one I personally use is Grudge raid Captain Crystal barricade Legacy and adrenaline one people have been asking why I use this variation and to explain this particular build at pull up time is 0.6 weaker but is much more consistent in real race scenario this is due to the less Reliance on adrenaline sacking 4106 or 9 7 Stone users both build is ideal to have adrenaline at level 2. although RNG will decide that as 05 by train to build solely relies on which stand 6 or 97 Stone you get this concludes the updated balance patch guide on The Machinist
