LOST ARK | F2P Player's Perspective on the New Player Experience

what's up nerds uh so uh the other day on stream uh I was asked what my thoughts on Lost AR were and if I would recommend the game to some of some newer Chatters that were in my stream uh so the following video that you're about to watch is just uh a clip version that was taken from my stream and it's just pretty much my thoughts and opinions on on the game Lost AR itself and how it um how it interacts or how it treats newer players um if you like this sort of content be sure to like And subscribe down below um I'll try to keep this short as I make this long anyways um and follow me on Twitch I pretty much stream every day around 7 p.m. PST so yeah I'll post all the links down below and let's just get right into the video [Music] let me say it this way early game is [ __ ] garbage end game is pretty fun let me just say it like that honestly if you're playing grand blue fantasy relink I just play that I just play that didn't they make it easier yeah so actually there's an event coming up in March where they're releasing a new job class and with the new job class they're releasing an Express Pass where you can level up a character to do endgame raids um and they give them all the gear and and [ __ ] like that for it to do the endgame raids so if you want to take advantage of the event to do it then yeah but if you naturally level up from 1 to 50 through the story and all that [ __ ] that [ __ ] kind of ass it can be still quite a lot of players though yeah so here's okay so here's my like honest opinion of the game it has like the best combat in an MMO that I've ever had um if you like raiding and if you like like difficult raid content then the end game is fun for you uh the early game is like if you're actually a new player and you create a level one character and you level him up you play the story the story a lot of people like the story a lot of people hate the story it's just kind of whatever I personally do did enjoy the story I think it's a cool story uh but you know that's just kind of a matter of personal opinion but 1 to 50 you're pretty much playing by yourself from 1 to 50 and then uh the game the game does not do a good job with naturally pressing their players from level one to endgame raids the only way a new player can catch up and to do endgame raids without hitting their head against a [ __ ] wall is by doing by taking advantage of new character events so like for instance a new character is coming out in March the breaker is coming out in March so um a thing called the super makoko Express Pass uh is uh what that does is it gives you all the materials and gear and gems and Etc that you need to level up your character it will start you it will automatically start you off at level 50 and then from level 50 you can hone your I item level to up to 1490 and then for 1490 onwards uh the the if pass is supposed to help a charact help someone go from uh to 1580 which is um a con which is uh the second it's the second highest rate in the game so there's Aon and then vus is technically the highest rate in the game right now but a I would still consider Aon end game cuz your endgame raids are uh I would I would Define the endgame raid as what is the high highest level people in the game currently are doing which would be volis Aon and K angle you could even add brell shaza in there if you want so so a con would technically be an endgame rate but other than that the game does a [ __ ] terrible job at like if I if a new player today was just like downloaded the game wanted to try the game out leveled the way up to level 50 and wanted to do some raids it does a [ __ ] terrible job at doing that but the events that definitely help but it just sucks that that new players have to take advantage of events just to do that if that makes [Music] sense going [Music] going
