Alright, let's talk about Engravings
Engravings in Lost Ark are passive bonuses you can activate
They can make a huge difference in your damage for endgame
You can get engravings from 3 sources Books, Ability Stones, and Accessories
Engravings have 3 levels. Every 5 points, your engraving will level up.
Relic Accessories at 1415 can give 5 points and 3 points for 2 engravings
Relic Ability Stones can be faceted up to 10 points for 2 engravings
Using 20 of each rarity book for an engraving gives 3 points per rarity up to 12 points
Up to 2 books can be equipped at once To set up your engravings, I recommend
the Market and the Auction House Books can be found on the Market by
typing in the name of the engraving To find Ability Stones or
Accessories go to the Auction House Then Click on Advanced Search
In Category we can select Ability Stone, All Accessories, or Individual Accessories
For item rank select Relic and for Tier select Tier 3
At the bottom we have advanced options We can specify combat stats
like Spec, Swift, or Crit We can also specify engravings,
including the amount of points Searches can be saved in the right column
The pricing on all of these are determined by the popularity of the engraving
On Accessories, the pricing is determined by The Engravings, favorable combinations
of engravings, quality, combat stats and max points on engravings
Ability Stones and Accessories require something called Pheons
These are extremely valuable as they're hard to get
Relic Accessories cost 15 pheons each, while Ability Stones cost 9 pheons each
Engravings are easily communicated by counting your engravings and their levels
Examples are 4x3, 5x3, or 4x3+1 4x3+1 means 4 engravings at level
3, and 1 engraving at Level 1. Let's theorize how to achieve
a 4x3 or 5x3 engravings for 4x3+1 if you facet a 5,5 ability stone
you can use the 5 points from 4 accessories to get 2 engravings at 15
With purple rarity books, we get 9 points for 2 engravings
use the 3 points from 4 accessories to get another 2 engravings at 15
Now, we can use the 5 points from the last accessory to get +1
This is an easy way to get 4x3+1 Let's go over 5x3
If you facet a 7,4 stone, you'll need legendary books
5 points from 3 accessories for 1 engraving 2 legendary books with 12 points paired with
3 points from 2 accessories makes 2 engravings the 7 points on the ability stone
needs a 3 and 5 from accessories and the 4 points on the ability stone needs
a 5, a 3, and another 3 from accessories And that makes 5x3
With a 7, 7 stone, you'll need a Legendary book, and a epic book 7, 7 stones can cost a lot of pheons to facet
but legendary books are typically expensive in gold
