Look What We Bought 👀! Welcoming A New(er) Gleaner to the Farm

kids have been riding every day he said this morning they loped all the way down we caught it over there on that side of the creek is the long field okay it's going to take us to it over here across the creek if we call it the long field because it's a long field see yeah and he said they loped all the way down it this morning also got a little video that was up at the barn though anyway these seed heads are terrible they're terrible look oh my gosh it felt so good y'all it I mean it's almost a little cool riding on this thing I'm post workouts uh I got I definitely got sweaty in the crib but post workout no makeup you're welcome uh anyway beautiful beautiful [Music] I know it's uh well the whole creep bottom is pretty I love our creek bottom we didn't even get down here this summer I don't I mean one time one time oh you're done a lot there but I waited for right here so it's one straight but I'm not here until there all the way down there I left I'm telling them if the weather stays like this uh this weekend I'm gonna have to I'm gonna have to saddle up my old mayor and go riding with him this is perfect grinding weather so stay tuned hopefully that'll hopefully that'll space another new saddle pad her new saddle path oh yeah no don't say that and she did get this really pretty girth isn't it pretty it's mohair she likes it she says it's easier for her to cinch I just got a roller on it loud truck coming but gracious Hank doesn't care though doesn't nothing about her Hank unless it's something really silly getting my steps in there's a farmer working [Music] you done doing what you're gonna do I'm not telling them yet what you're gonna do it's gonna be a surprise they have a surprise coming hopefully a good one right all right I'm gonna finish my steps and I'm going to make a supper 10-4 sound good 410. we got a lot going on tomorrow y'all some things happening around here for one he's gonna be out of town for well all day he's going on a little road trip he and Jimmy uh and then uh we have someone coming to float the horse's teeth if you're not familiar with that stick around I will hopefully be able to video that and show that and explain exactly what that is I was a little bummed this person is coming from Tennessee he goes around and does this um I was a little bummed that Lawrence is not going to be here um but our friend Jimmy Cooper is coming with this guy Jeff and uh so I feel better about that have some extra hands and extra help so anyway that's that rounding up a beautiful day beautiful day beautiful evening and um I'm gonna head back to the house get supper going to be easy peasy stir fry tonight and uh I know I mentioned in my last um video that my ankle was still swollen and as of last night it was as of this morning it's gone down a lot so good it's all good y'all it's all good all right I'll catch you in the morning which will be about the the length of a transition in here pancakes bacon for the side of math oh yeah okay Wes breakfast is ready foreign what a border collie you are Gus it's another beautiful morning okay it's go day Lawrence is gone kids did an early morning short ride they're in there finishing their schoolwork I'm gonna get a quick walk in and then I believe Jeff and Jimmy will be here isn't that funny we have so many jimmies in our life horse Jimmy tractor Jimmy okay we have one puppy completely laid down in the mud puddle and Gus just rolled in horse poop so we're doing we're doing batting 50 here today y'all I just got a text from Lawrence that he's on his way home he's probably got a four to five hour trip home he said he was very happy which makes me very happy I can't wait to show you I bet some people are already guessing but I'm not I'm not I'm just you'll see it when I see it okay Jimmy and Jeff are here and this is actually gonna go fast faster than I thought so we've got two we got Hank and bin in the barn and we got that got to get the other three cult luckily luckily they're up here at the water so we didn't have to go hunting Farm [Music] okay thank you because we bought them and didn't know they did it okay we were told nine so see that helped [Music] Martin said Jeff will know he'll be able to tell us oh yeah we don't know exactly how old Ben is either do we the paint okay how about that good boy I wasn't sure if they'd have to be drugged or what they're doing all right was Ben's teeth okay I mean which one the first one uh yeah I mean they we did them right right okay watch her Wesley you're right where she could kick it's smart okay everyone in one of them holds a bone here ain't it yes yeah Jeff said he does about a hundred a week and you had both your shoulders three no shoulders my my right one twice oh my gosh now I'm having stem cells put in my left one to try to regenerate without having surgery on me oh my gosh so he's filing her teeth it's been a while needed it it's gonna help him help him eat better and this is this is Jimmy Cooper the saddle man the saddle man I said you're the saddle man I got Jimmy Cooper the other day but I do love my saddle I haven't ridden on it yet maybe tomorrow or Saturday [Music] how y'all I'm so excited um and my last in my last video I was showing where I went uh walking at the Yanceyville Arboretum and there was this bush and I didn't know what it was called and it's called a beauty berry bush thank you to everyone who has told me what that was so I just immediately got on Google and um I'm trying to find somewhere to buy some of course they're not cheap for like something that's actually established I might I might look at some nurseries around town anyway I've already got I've already got plans right here partial shade two Beauty berries Beauty I love the name alliteration at its best beautyberry BB's BB bushes okay I want at least two maybe four yeah I want to take that up it has never grown there I don't know why it won't grow it's a um what's the yellow Forsythia it's never grown there and um I think maybe I'll take that up and if I like uh rototill the soil and amend it a little bit I don't know I would love to cover up that beautiful we call it propane tank let me not cover it up but yeah kind of sort of still accessible but not really seen anyway okay all the puppies are out doing their thing and somebody's been out here digging I see I have a feeling that this is the culprit are you the culprit have you been digging what are you eating you're eating a stick sticks stick sticks are very nutritious aren't they foreign Susans are looking horrible that I mean that looks dead y'all what is this okay all of my horticulturists out there this looks like some type of disease I would say definitely a disease I don't do well with diseases I don't do well with treatment never know what to do about that type of stuff it's either bug it looks I don't know oh Golly Miss Molly what are you doing Larry get out of there get out of there get out of my plants yeah one thing that is doing amazingly well and making me so happy is my little gardenia it bloomed again y'all it's had like three balloons this summer I just planted it though this summer and it's grown and it's happy and it's healthy knock on wood do see some yellow leaves there anyway makes me very happy am I dianthus something dug that one up it is now dead okay and when Sammy lose some some days it rains that's another Lawrence quote you win some you lose some and sometimes it rains some days sometimes whatever you want to say hello hello what are you riding his truck and trailer to go get it they like I say they've been on the road since um about 4 30 this morning and it's 4 55 12 hours they were gone 12 hours I was hoping that the 43-20 here we'll take it off oh there's Doug Uncle Doug not really the kid's uncle but he might as well be cotton season y'all both seasons started the guys are starting to come in well I didn't get that on there that didn't work but that did that did not work very well well look at that one more line oh one I see it oh sorry sorry Church sorry about your crap yeah oh no the other one's heavier than that one this uh this box yeah okay I'm walking back to the house because I walked up here to get my truck because he took his truck to get that tractor now he's got to get he's gonna try to get a line off of another one I think a hose I think hey money [Applause] foreign still need to go to the auto parts store for my rear view oh me I'll remember one day and there is a solid chance that we are getting low on gas in here I haven't drowning it very much but according to the tripometer this tank has 113 gallons used at 8.2 miles per gallon there she is oh my gosh it's humongous so much bigger than I thought it would be of course it's always something here right can't just can't just take the header off without any issue I'm just really hoping that once he replaces takes this hose off and puts it back on that we don't blow another one because if that happens then we are um we are without a plan C I think [Music] foreign [Music] tools where we need them one thing oh they're both coming on this exciting day on Bernard Farms this is a big deal for us and it was a good deal I don't know much about comments but think this was a good deal and it is clean ready Jimmy just said he drove it off the trailer he said it um it uh it just rode and drove really smooth he told me what to do he said you crank it with it in neutral and then you'd I don't know Lawrence will know look at there and and complete with a cushion and like Wesley says it has a little bit of a little bit of rat pyoder um it's got a buddy seat we have a buddy seat I got somewhere to sit oh yeah look at that look at that that's fancy it's such a fancy yeah that controls are fancy the gear has to be in neutral crank when you put it in gear and then you can do the hydrostatic which lifts it that's what lifts it no that's wrong oh that's what makes you go forward and back yeah and that's the throttle there's a gear and then there's that and then there's that just a little bit you just slow and then I think here he comes here comes boss man it's a Bossman can you even get up in here can you even get up in here I hope so okay line up no how about that you got it that was easy yeah I don't see it though yeah Claire she was going to want to go outside she said she did it she said she didn't now she does so that's that y'all um yeah we have a 19 we've gone from a 1978 Gleaner F2 to a 1994 Gleaner r 42. uh uh Kind of Night and Day pretty excited to see how this is gonna go um we're excited Lawrence is excited Jimmy is thrilled he's not gonna be any help but he's he's a smart guy he would be able to help um so that's that that's that he went down to Manning South Carolina got that got that Gleaner got it home and um we'll see how she does here in a couple months and hopefully we don't have to do a lot tour between now and then our friend Gabe was gonna check her out and make sure she's all right but um yeah I know some of you are going to be just as excited as we are so thank you in advance I know you are because y'all are like family and y'all have seen all of the struggles and uh trials that we've had with that first one we bought but she's got the job done except for the day she didn't really hungry and I'm gonna cook supper now and we're gonna call it a night and we'll see you back next time so we're not gonna have to mess with clogs no I didn't say that ah you don't have a plug at once a month but if you got a reversion um it'll kick it out if it's not too bad all righty then
