LOL Surprise DIY Family Tinsel Fun Craft With Barbie and Ken LOL Families Cupcake Squad

[Music] okay all the presents are ready tinsel time to tell mom and dad to send these off to santa we can't have any late presents for christmas um what do you mean mom and dad i haven't seen them all day wait what do you mean you haven't seen them all day yeah i mean i haven't seen them all day pencil you know it's only the head elves that can get the presents to santa no i'm not the head elf oh no don't tell me these presents aren't going to be late for christmas we have to find mom and dad now go i guess we're in trouble yeah we're in trouble all right where's mom and dad maybe i can help looks like tinsel and holly are in a pickle so you know what that means we're giving holly and tinsel some parents i've got the perfect duo to do that so i have this barbie and ken number 167 he's the mate to move ken uh-huh we finally got a mate to move cannon it's not just crazy but can can wait we're gonna start off with tinsel and holly's mommy very first step is some hot water to take her head off we're gonna switch up bodies and re-root some brand new hair all right so that should be good enough her head should be nice and soft to take off oh there you go and while we have the hot water i'm gonna take the maid to move barbie and take her head off and she goes okay one more head nice and soft just how we want it okay now it's time to cut off all of her hair because we're getting ready to root her some of this stuff this is the exact hair that i used on tinsel they're actually clipping extensions you get a whole bunch of hair and it's really good quality hair only for thirteen dollars [Music] [Applause] all right so i've got her hair as short as i need it now taking the doll planets demolition kit we're going to take all those tiny little hairs out of her head i have all the tools i need i think i'll choose this one we just go in her neck hole and swishy swish it around and it does the work for us all right awesome great she is ship shape and exactly where i want her to be and now let's take out whatever was in here let's see if we find any monstrosities well that was tiny pretty sure it's much more than that i feel something what is it what is it it is a monstrosity look how big that piece is that looks like a caterpillar you want to make room for the new hair all right we've got it empty now i'm going to buff her head with a nail buff just to create a rough surface this will help the paint grip onto her head a whole lot better and hopefully prevent flaking because barbie heads are soft and you usually get a lot of flaking once you start rooting the hair for the color i'm using grass green to match the hair we're going to root well slap on some of that green it's really thick so i'm going to mix in some water with my paintbrush all right here we go now while her head is drying i'm gonna work on her face [Music] [Music] now taking some chalk pastel i'm going to add some blush for her then i'm going to seal it all in with some matte varnish because once i root her hair i'm going to be boil washing it and i usually don't do the face paint before i root the hair but this time i decided to switch things up i almost forgot the little star on the side of her cheek [Music] i find that when i add the matte varnish first and then add the chalk pastel for the blush it goes on a little better if i don't add the matte varnish first then it gets a little splotchy so let's do that and i can add it onto her head too making extra sure we prevent flakage [Music] now after i put the chocolate stall on i'm going to do another layer of the matte varnish [Music] and now she's ready for that new hair [Music] gonna try to keep the pace but someday we will find that the world has changed but we stay true to each other i will always be there for you whenever you need my help okay so i've got some tinsel bits in her hair and we are ready to glue all this hair down then once the glue is dry about two hours later i'm gonna boil wash her hair to get this messy jungle tamed 2 000 years later now i'm gonna boil wash her hair style her hair up then we'll move on to accessories and shoes and we're going to be done pretty soon perfect absolutely splendid i've got her hair boil washed and it's so long she looks like a beautiful mermaid but it's looking real janky so we're going to cut her hair to right about there maybe i was thinking shorter i wanted to do her mom's hair maybe around there or maybe there but we don't want to waste all this beautiful green hair so i'm going to go ahead and cut it maybe right over there so it's still a little bit long but not too long for her outfit i'm going to use exactly what she came with and it's red so that helps us with the paint job i'm going to use some red fabric paint and paint the [Music] we can start working on daddy-o so i've got a very fancy tuxedo on him minus the shorts we're gonna replace those with these pants cause he's the head elf at santa's workshop and we have to have fancy christmas wear on him we're going to cover this all with a coat of white paint so it makes it easier for the other colors to show up [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] oh [Applause] one [Music] um [Music] for the mom's shoes i found the perfect gold heels all we need is a red bow [Music] [Applause] [Music] and to make it even better we can add a little peppermint charm up top of the bowl [Music] and for the dad's shoes i found the perfect pair also we've got superman's boots we're just gonna keep them simple and red for him not forget daddyo's hair [Music] for her earrings i'm going to use some sewing pins mini candy canes and a metallic bead mom just made a trip to claire's and she's getting her ears pierced y'all ready mom i'm gonna quickly pierce her ears with a push pin easy peasy lemon squeezy now we can get some earrings on there [Music] i've got my mini curling iron time to give her some curls [Music] time to get her head back on and build her headpiece for her headpiece i'm using a piece of worbla which is moldable plastic to get this to be a little gummy and shapeable that's easy with my heat gun i'm just going to add that heat it's going to become movable and shakeable so now that it's flexible and gummy i'm going to cut out a piece [Music] [Music] [Music] and i can't promise [Music] this can't be happening i can't believe this is going to be the first christmas santa is not going to deliver the presents to the kids they're going to lose belief in santa and then next christmas the sleigh won't take off because there's going to be zero belief um what what could possibly be so important right now tinsel that you are interrupting my meltdown and you need to kill out because chill out how am i supposed to chill out christmas is ruined yeah uh your mom and dad's right behind you wait what really head off in the house did someone call sweetie why are you sweating phew mom dad i thought we were gonna have presents late santa remember you're the head elves you're supposed to check off in the presents that are done oh honey i'm sorry we already checked off on these didn't tinsel tell you no tinsel didn't tell me anything about this yeah we were at the gingerbread shop purchasing a brand new batch of the gingerbread men 2.0 supposedly they taste delicious yeah so we checked off early we're actually ahead of schedule tinsel girl i may have forgot uh that they already told me that the presents were done i was busy counting my candy canes oh really counting your candy canes oh okay fine that and playing roblox what a relief i don't want the job of present checker ever it's elf family tradition you're next enlightened here at the job but but but we finally got some parents for the tinsel family they are looking festive and ready to do the job of present checker it sure is a lot of responsibility to check all the presents to make sure they're tipped up before they head out of the north pole let's check out what we did for the mom her headpiece well you guys saw what we did with that warbler and some beads make it look magical and christmassy she's got a custom face candy cane earrings and a lovely elf outfit that's similar to holly but she's got her motherly flair with it her dad has molded green hair and he's got a very regal elf outfit don't you think we paired up the red gold green with the white pants and some superman red boots i think they're the perfect christmas family and i think they're just getting started they definitely need more members well that is
