here's my theory of what happened just before a locust decided to become an apostle Oh God [Applause] [Music] so today we're going to talk about everybody's favorite Lancer locus the name locus is Latin and translates to just meaning a particular place or position it can also mean a particular location of something abstract so I'm not sure if this has any intended meaning but when we're dealing with Berzerk and having multiple worlds layered on top of each other the astral world is pretty abstract and if you were to talk about it in a location-based way maybe that works I don't know again the name could mean nothing important for why me or chose it he might have just liked the way it sounds and we may never know locus also can refer to the position of a gene in a genetic mutation so going from human to a possible could be similar to this meaning or it could also mean a curve or figure like a graph or coordinates and maybe this in some way relates to the idea of being a lancer and having pinpoint accuracy running down an opponent or all of it could mean nothing when we get to locus as a character he was introduced in chapter 183 of the manga where he arrives on a battlefield alongside grünfeld and Raxus to pledge his loyalty to Griffith and decides to fight alongside him in the new band the hawk locusts like the others I mentioned is an apostle and my apostle explained video is in the description below as always we don't know much about locusts his background as a human before becoming an apostle but we do know that he was a legendary warrior whose name is known by many of those in the world of research when he has his first real speaking moment introduction in the manga he welcomes a human named mule into the band of the hawk and me'll knows him by his name referring to him as the moonlight Knight someone who had an undefeated record in jousting matches and duels also whom never settled on or started following one master or one ruler of course that all changed when a god hand was incarnated on earth locusts has since pledged his loyalty to Griffith but with someone like Griffith you wonder how much of a choice apostles really have it's like seeing their Jesus here on earth is the destiny of apostle kind controlled by some transcendental entity or law for some it may be but following Griffith seems to be in line with locusts as a character as he does respect him and his plans whatever they may be locust has that classic strong stoic demeanor and has no problem confronting enemies face to face or indoctrinating others into the Griffith Way of life he's well-spoken clear in his words and intent and he carries probably the strongest sense of charisma in the band of the hawk other than Griffith himself he led an assault against the Apostle Ganesha and was on the front lines of that fight as well as the final assault against Ganesha a super-duper apostle self he seems to be in constant control of the situation and has respect for the enemies that he's facing a true code of the warrior translating even into his apostle hood the first and only time that we've actually seen him angry is when he witness Richert slapped the [ __ ] out of Griffith stupid face he raged so hard that he crushed a Bannister with his bare hand and that's in his human form so someone rejecting the one that he views as his superior is taken as a grave insult to Locust himself and he immediately wanted Rickard dead upon viewing this no conversation no trying to convince him laying a hand on Griffith equals death in the eyes of locusts now locusts his design is that of a tall dark and handsome man no really he's actually a pretty good-looking dude considering that most apostles still look pretty nasty even in their human forms even grun belt and Zod don't exactly look like someone you'd invite to dinner unless you're looking to eat your own blood in the form of being beat into a disgusting mangled mesh of your former self anyway like I said he looks handsome and human other than his eyes as told by Ricker who could sense that there was something off about him by just gazing into them his armor is a metallic silver and has some jagged points coming around the shoulder areas which actually leads into what he looks like in his apostle form locusts has a very unique and different apostle form from most of any of the other apostles we've ever seen it doesn't resemble a classic mythological animal or monster really and actually in a way feels very out of place in a world like berserk but that doesn't mean I don't like the design I really do so being a Lancer locust rides a horse in the battle and when he transforms it seems as if the horse then becomes part of his apostle body I don't know if this is similar to a vines bow being connected to his transformation if certain apostles have an outside of their own physical body source that contributes to their apostle form but these two seem to his lower body is four legs like a horse and then his upper body is humanoid ish with jagged points coming off the shoulders and off of his head I guess you could say it's like a senator except the skin of his entire body is covered in metallic armor so rather than being organic and fleshy like most apostles he is a shiny metal beacon of destruction his Lance also becomes even more gigantic perhaps even putting guts his Dragon Slayer to shame lengthwise at least gut still has the girth and as we all know that's what ladies really like locusts gains all of the standard boosts in his apostle form strength speed agility all go up he can use both ends of his Lance with intense speed and accuracy and was able to chop up an entire arsenal of Dokka while leading his group of soldiers the horse part of his lower body of course enables him to ride even faster than most so if he were to actually joust it would send an opponent flying into the distance other than that we haven't seen too many specifics of his fighting abilities he has yet to battle a character or meet up with anybody from the main group of protagonists in research fighting locusts one on one would be a nearly impossible challenge seriously do not challenge this man to a jousting match first of all there's the fact that he's fused to his horse so you'd have to actually be able to attack high enough to get him and his Lance's length is perfect at keeping you at bay combine that with his speed and strength and the fact that his skin is metallic and thus almost impossible to pierce you'd probably be dead in seconds but should his skin actually be able to be pierced locusts would then be subject to the same weaknesses as any other apostle he could be chopped up and dismembered if you had a powerful enough weapon and an absolute insane strength to wield it is also vulnerable to magic again we don't know if something like sure K's barrier could kill an apostle but it may be able to keep them at bay I would say if you're going to fight locust please for the love of God please bring some backup but anyway that about does it for the jist of our main man locust we haven't like I said we haven't learned too much about him yet but that's about it thus far let me know what you think and if you want a shiny metallic exterior for yourself be sure to subscribe to this channel once you click that button you will be given a hard shiny body that will make all the ladies go wild also results may vary but anyways thanks for watching this video guys I really do appreciate it give it a like give a thumbs up share it
