Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Aqualung and Thick as a Brick are both masterpieces.
Jethro Tull is fantastic. In my early teens, my dad raised me musically by handing me vinyls of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Jethro Tull to listen to. All three were fantastic, but Tull stood out because it was so weirdly good. It wasn't structured, but lovely to listen to, because so much happened!
As a child, I was also mesmerized by the poster of Ian Anderson in my dad's hobby room. The colorfulness and the weird pose of Anderson always kept me thinking about it.
I'm very happy to see Anderson on Tull's 50th anniversary tour in October, with my dad!
Aqualung and Thick As A Brick are fantastic, but Stand Up and Minstrel In The Gallery are lovely as well!
Its a shame that the artist for this album gets no money other than the $1500 he got in a handshake deal when he painted it. He has reached out to Ian Anderson for more of a cut based off the massive success of the album and the money they make off selling posters, tshirts etc, but he has always brushed him off. Lost a lot of respect for Ian after reading this.

Hymn 43 is a banger on the drums, super fun to play along with
You should listen to Rahshaan Roland Kirk instead, that's where Ian Anderson stole his style from.
Everyone should give JT a listen
