you see this face that's the face of a grass cutting master welcome to lawnmower stay later everybody yes there's a simulation game for everything these days and that's why we're going to cut grass today and i hope you guys are excited for that because i sure as hell am and i'm not even joking about that all right we gotta start off with our company name which is tea for some reason right now all right for this one i just wanna really confuse people so we're gonna call it pool service the lawn mowing company wait my company name is still tea no i would like it to be pool why why is it t does that just mean type okay i think that's just an emblem that's very confusing all right is there any pools that down here they're all grass-related the only one that kind is vague is this house with a wi-fi symbol on it so yeah we'll we'll do that one of course we gotta edit our player as well player names his name's gonna be jeff and you know what jeff's gonna be a female all right you can even change your hat in this game not not the actual hat the color how do i freaking confirm this guy's not even joking i've already broken the game and i haven't even selected my character yet all right i fixed it i just had to reset the game there we go uniform colors let's just go for pink i feel like i'm a professional bowler now all right i'm happy with that let's get out there and uh well go cut some grass because that's all we're doing here oh we get to choose our first tractor all right so we have a generic rider or the one with the front thingy um i know nothing about long cutting by the way so i'm gonna say thingy a lot just out of curiosity oh my god that's like the zamboni of the lawnmower game the hell is this thing it's got a giant tumor on the front of it oh this is exciting these things i mean i don't even like lawn mowers but this excites me you know what i'm gonna go for the night i think cause this just looks like a generic you know everyday lawnmower i i want something a little bit better i think i got a test drive it's not let me do anything else yes i would love to test drive this bad boy all right well welcome to the testing grounds ladies and gentlemen and here is the beast itself i'm so excited all right so let's start her up really gonna hold z for a while there we go increase throttle and some random buttons there we go change cut height e and c so it looks like the max is seven i love that it actually does lower when i do this and the lowest is 2.5 2.5 sounds fun oh yeah and here we go oh my god this thing's so high tech i didn't expect it to have an articulating frame this is this is the first tier lawnmower i'm so pumped already all right i should really pay attention to the tutorial i don't know the button to start this thing v oh v is first person all right no it's q to lower deck got it whoa what the okay i should mention this is uh this is in beta right now i might have put it a little bit too low also my camera seems to be broken now that's fantastic there we go lower it is it cut am i am i that dumb do i not know how to cut grass what the hell did i just get off no i don't want to get off oh it is z to engage the blades i guess they didn't lower it first okay one on contracts you'll be required to cut the grass in a certain height yadda yadda i don't care about that i'm testing this right now all right we have a progress bar on the top okay we are officially out here cutting grass very very poorly oh yeah this this is the life man this is this is what gaming in 2021 is like fantastic i have to say it's a lot more enjoyable in first person can i just take out these things oh dude get them get them let's destroy this thing before we buy it then we don't need to buy it oh uh oh it's turning red you were cutting the wrong cut height i don't care i mean i'm still getting the progress done that's the important thing there we go hit everything yes just bang into you know what we don't even need to do this perfectly let's just let's just go around let's go on a joyride i honestly don't think i can end the test drive until this progress is 10 done so they're really just making me do manual labor before i buy this thing i have to say i like the machinery though i think we'll buy this one i've used riders before in real life and the selling point is this articulating frame for me this this thing can turn on a freaking dime i'm dizzy i'm actually dizzy oh we have pro view because i'm a natural lawn slayer okay that's fantastic let's test it out um oh i have to stop okay there we go yeah i can really see how great i am at this sweet oh yeah that's that that that's art right there baby all right are we done oh thank god it was it was actually only 10 okay well safe to say i enjoy the thing let's turn this off put her away and i guess buy it mind you do i get a different one because i've already slightly destroyed the engine on this one so yeah you can only purchase the vehicle after you try it out so deck size is also bigger on this one i was just curious what the differences were the other one has a bigger fuel tank also a better top speed but yeah we're definitely gonna go for this one um i'll have 250 left that's enough to run a whole business right all right now we gotta select a contract it looks like we have one to choose from right now so yeah the old nook cottage here we go baby all right it looks like we can have employees currently all we have is jeff and we only have one lawnmower but that's nice to know that i can get employees that will work for me i'm assuming all right let's actually read this cutting height five to six centimeters i don't know what a ground check is but i feel like i'm playing a sport right now recommended cut time 26 minutes god how much am i getting paid for this uh 330 that's that's actually pretty good i mean it's better than power washing i'll tell you that much all right here we go our first real job this is exciting this is a beautiful place to start you put a lot of trust in me you got a beautiful gardens here that i might try and unintentionally run over all right but let's just get out there ground check phase at the start of each contract i have a small period of time to find and remove objects in the grass area that could either be damaged or damage your vehicle oh i just want to keep them there for fun can we check out these badass cars instead oh my god all right being that it is my own machine i probably should you know play it safe here and actually look around for anything that might possibly be out here oh what the hell is that hey pick up object i don't even know what the hell that was what the hell's leaving bear traps out here what the hell is that thing i'm so confused i expected like sticks and everything i'm getting the most random of things oh there's another one oh yeah you know what i'm just gonna keep that there for fun cause i sure should ain't picking this up without a shovel all right you know what i've i've given up this is kind of like landmine lawn mowering i have two items out there that i know could possibly damage my vehicle let's do it that sounds fun contract cutting with the ground check complete it's time to start cutting some grass start your vehicle up and drive over the lawn to begin you don't say all right here we go first day on the job hopefully i don't get fired throttle up yeah 3000 rpm and they wanted i think it was what was it six to seven i think i'll just do six just to play it safe so here we go i'm gonna go first person here your performance during cutting will affect how much money in rp points you earn from the contract you need to find a balance between speed and careful driving avoiding damaging the flowers or the lawn well cutting grass quickly to earn time bonus i did notice in my testing i was ripping up the lawn so there's actually a lot of strategy with this which is fantastic it actually reminds me a lot of power washing sim same kind of thing doing this annoying manual labor for your viewing pleasures but i'm actually so pumped for this this does feel like a great game i can't see i'm scared oh yeah i think i chose the right law more man this thing can just get around so easily i'm gonna get a great scoring for this first run i think the poop's coming up so that's exciting all right hold on we just gotta get in here oh oh don't don't damage anything that should be more or less good i think i'm thinking oh jesus christ okay this is harder than i thought i'm not sure where that poop went oh jesus christ damn it i'm sorry all right it should be good from here we're not so close to the sides god damn it i was just basically done that laugh too but yeah it should be smooth sailing now so now we just sit back relax and slay some grass [Music] [Music] what i damaged the ground oh i must have turned way too hard i was flying there to be honest okay well i don't think it's too bad if i damage the yard once and uh take out one flower for a whole job i feel like that's pretty good let's not get too confident though we're not done yet but as you can clearly tell we're nearing the end so that's exciting and i have to say i i didn't know i wanted this in my life but i i actually needed this this is so damn relaxing there's just something so enjoyable about doing these these jobs in these simulation games i think i chose the right lawnmower though i guess maybe i should have test drove the other one but i did all this in 12 minutes that was much faster than the suggested all right so i gotta drive back to the trailer let me at least finish the yard i like that it gives you at least a little bit of wiggle room as you can see oh god damn it i want the client to be truly happy we can't just leave a patch in the middle of her her beautiful garden here or or his i don't know who owns this place all right well let's disengage that a job well done lifted up and there we go moving on okay so we did fail the ground check so those are clearly important destroyed two dollars of flour somehow i collided for 13 oh yeah that's right i did hit one of her garden things i did get a one cent incorrect cut height penalty how did that happen all right well overall we still earned 328 dollars so i feel like that was pretty damn good i'll accept that ooh you can purchase attachments how do i get to that a dollar fifty five yeah i guess i can break the bank for that i'm gonna do a full repair too yeah you know what we may as well always do this just in case i have a really bad time one of these runs all right so yeah it doesn't look like i can buy any attachments for this version but i'm assuming other ones i can zero bay's available um oh my god i wanna i wanna get to some of these bigger ones so bad we're so far away obviously though all right looks like i got another garden so these are gonna get more and more complex the further we go um yeah six to seven i think that's all i really need to know let's get out there with good old jeff and get her done okay definitely a bigger area so that makes me a little nervous but it's nice and open so we should be okay now we definitely got to get all the objects i want to see how much i get paid if i can actually do the ground check right it's looking like this the yard is perfectly clean but somewhere there's some doo-doo or something there we go what is it oh it's a tennis ball everybody has hit a tennis ball if you own a dog with a lawnmower it's the most shocking but funnest thing ever you just have a battle axe in your yard i don't even know what that is cheers that's probably shoes okay well that's two out of three oh damn that worked out three out of three all right but it's time to go turn it on and back to doing what this game's all about thing is i have a sidewalk this time if this was my yard i would just keep the blade going oh this is dangerous okay no actually we we can actually do that perfect well guess what ladies and gentlemen we're over halfway done i don't really know what to commentate on in a game like this i mean i play a lot of games like this but i'm literally just cutting grass i haven't ran into any issues yet maybe i'm just a natural at lawn cutting but there really isn't any challenge that being said we're at the first levels here so it's probably just teaching you how to play and i'm hoping they get way harder like we got to go on a cliff face or something or there's just massive rocks everywhere or something because right now i mean i'm just doing manual labor i mean there's nothing wrong with it but i'm not really being challenged and maybe that's not the point maybe this is just a zen-like experience you know come home after a hard day of work to do more manual labor i'm not knocking the game though i'm truly enjoying myself i could see this game definitely not being for everybody but for a unique individual that just wants to zone out and just you know earn a little bit of money build their own little business in a video game oh damn it i did it i was doing so good i i full throttle the turn you can't full throttle a turn on this thing it's got too much of a turning radius i was really hoping for the perfect run here god damn it but uh now we're not getting that all right well that job took a little longer uh almost 20 minutes this time i mean god damn if this is how much lawn mower companies make that i i'm in the wrong industry i think i get paid like 300 for this as well not that i'm complaining that just means we get to buy more cool lawnmowers sooner than later all right but there we go hopefully another happy customer didn't even really destroy anything this time besides that one time when i turned a little too hard but hey we're we're not gonna talk about that oh my god it looks so good i never looked at it from a distance i i i'm proud of my work damn it oh yeah a lot lot less penalties this time we had 27 cents 50 cents and 78 cents oh actually a total of 78 cents so really only two little fines i guess it is stating i did collide into something i didn't see that i definitely saw the ground damage though so well i'm not gonna argue it it's only 50 cents oh we're an amateur now that's exciting and that's it that is all the lawn mowing we get to do for right now i don't think i mentioned that that was a demo but uh indeed obviously it is it's been a game i've been following for a while now because it's actually taking lawn mowing seriously and i'm kind of excited uh just by seeing a little glimpse of it with this demo you know we're gonna have employees there's obviously a lot of lawnmowers to upgrade and whatnot and uh yeah i thoroughly did enjoy myself i wouldn't say it's the most action-packed game but it is very rewarding when you finally finish that job so yeah let me know if you guys want to see more of this when it does come out i hope you guys enjoyed
