when we go go to bed god we want we want you to be our obsession again god where most of us we've been in that season and that place where you are everything that we thought about everything that we talked about everything that we would think about was you take us back to that place this morning strip everything away till we only see your face open up our eyes to see you [Music] open up our ears to hear you cause it's for you alone i'll live and breathe and move and have my being it's for you alone i worship it's you alone [Music] and i just wanna bless your name [Music] i just wanna make you deserve it it's as simple as that there's nothing that you're not worthy thank you jesus [Music] thank you lord god that because of what you did by sending your son jesus to die on the cross for our sins [Music] that we are able to partake in the beauty of your presence this morning that we get to live freely with no separation no separation from you god this morning um we're we're planning on uh doing communion in just a second um so you can actu you can grab your elements now if you want i'll just give you like a minute to do that i have mine ready but um before we go into that i just wanted to [Music] read um a scripture and reference a couple scriptures but in ephesians 2 verse 8 to 9 it says for by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of god not of works lest anyone should boast and in corinthians 5 21 he says for he made him who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of god in him he who knew no sin jesus who was perfect a spotless lamb [Music] became sin for us because it because it is only by faith by grace by faith that we are saved it is only through us believing that jesus in all his perfection decided to lay down his life for you and for me and because of that we can be free we can be free from all sin all shame all oppressions and so i just want to invite you today [Music] to just take a minute and to just receive that that because of jesus we no longer have to live in sin sin separated man from god but because of jesus he tore the veil he tore the veil of separation and because of that we can boldly with no shame with no condemnation come before the throne of grace and partake in communion with him and be friends he says no longer are we sinners no longer are we slaves but we're friends and so i just want to invite you just to repeat this prayer after me if you've never given your life to jesus before just to repeat this prayer after me jesus [Music] thank you for dying on the cross for my sins thank you for giving up yourself so that i might be saved that i might have friendship with you i believe with my in my heart and i confess with my mouth that jesus christ is lord and so right now [Music] i receive you into my heart into my life and i give you full control holy spirit come and have your way in me today from this day forth and forevermore in jesus name and so we want to partake of the blood of jesus that that washes us and cleanses us we usually do the bread first but we want him to to partake of the blood first this morning because it's by his blood that we receive the healing that we receive salvation it's because of the blood of jesus that we can now come and be one with god so let's just take a minute just receive his blood this morning yeah and just as um just as a juice it represents the blood of jesus that was shed um we use we use a bread to signify um and represent his body which was broken for us um which was beaten for us um which was slain for us and um you know we do this to to remember and to and in that remembrance give thanks because it was such a powerful incredible thing that he did and it cost him greatly it cost him greatly but it was worth it it was worth that connection that salvation that shalom was talking about [Music] so just before we partake of this of the bread or whatever does the cracker that you have let's just take a moment just to remember just sit in remembrance for a moment visualize it see the pain see what it cost him and in that remembrance let us give thanks and let us be grateful [Music] oh father we're so grateful thank you so much jesus jesus thank you so much jesus we recognize what it cost you we recognize that it was not easy the moment was not fun it was not enjoyable it hurt it cost you but jesus thank you that you saw us on the other side and you saw that it was worth it thank you jesus thank you we're so grateful let's partake of the bread or the crack or whatever it is that you have
