sisters and brothers to two hours last far enjoy and hates for destroying never forget it or you'll regret it as long as you're living forgive me if I seem to preach but there is something that I have to say a message that I hope will reach people who are throwing life away Carla my philosophy that is why I pass it on to you because it works so well for me helps me get away from strife hope you listen carefully they say the truth will make you free and that's the way you wanna be sister this [Music] here manager Daniel bam bam [Applause] wow that's you dangerous look your Ella would would walk down that aisle in just kissing very gifted amazing the panda base is Jordan [Applause] we think y'all won't turn out to be something don't forget us don't you like this this fresh eclectic style of a diversified music we've been having here lately thanks guys Sarah your your excellent come back again you're welcome any time you ought to be here all time dude we were wearing out yeah yesterday Marlon and I went downtown to look at our new property together and he was breaking it down a little bit more clearly for me and I was visualizing I got to peek at the proposed new structure it's absolutely amazing and the spot is great then we went over to Greenwood and walked up there and almost ate a neck bone but the throw and open and life isn't fair is the title that's not a criticism nor is it a complaint it's an observation which is being fair and honest you've often heard me say that that life is a kind of a sexually transmitted disease or disease your mom and him were intimate whether you whether they were married or not and you came into this desert of disease or tension or stress most of us have a continual complaint that that ain't fair when I was a little kid we used to go no fair no fair how many of you ever heard that save me I used to say that after after getting a whuppin no fair we were raised with a Bible and a belt if they if they couldn't preach the gospel in there they'd beat the devil out of us they'd go to jail for that today but you can also carry guns they're trying to put forth legislation in this state who are people who've had no no vetting no no preliminary examinations no questioning any random person can walk around like in cowboy days and carry guns that that that's insane especially while the psychologists are telling us that one out of five people you meet are mentally ill count down the road if that one has a gun slapping so there's there you can go out today when we finish and it's you can text Vito 2 6 4 4 - 3 3 2 ask governor fallon to veto permit less carry that a person there being the in the parking lots a day you can go fill out an application or an application but a document that indicates your support of legislation against this kind of a thing our country's motto is In God We Trust not in Dunn's we trust and it's funny some of the people that are pushing guns the most are people of the faith community particularly my in my evangelical friends and I grew up with that group and been around them all in my life but we talk about faith in God and but it's really fear and guns and Bible or bullets or ballots so there's a this we've never had such polarization in our country or in our culture before and that's only because something major is about to happen there is some information some news that is about to come out about our belief system globally our religious systems and things that we've been told and taught for centuries and millennia that are going to be shocking to the culture we're gonna have to readjust our thinking I have a strong premonition that's something that is mind-boggling will occur when the earth trembles and shakes and gets tense and as in orders of Kenya there's a big split in the earth that they're saying scientists are saying that maybe Africa the continent will split and there'll be the atlantic ocean there between them in Hawaii today yesterday and I've been on on the Big Island before my first visit Hawaii to Kona and Hilo but the volcano is they don't know when it's going to stop already in almost 2000 people have had to be relocated there's a there's a scripture in the Bible that says that all of creation groans waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God and that doesn't mean Christians or Jews necessarily just means people who are in touch with their divinity people who recognize their soul self their spirit self and are awakening to an enlightened way of thinking that's very powerful and we're all a part of that I think that all souls is a part of a new spiritual paradigm right here in the city of Tulsa we've been dominated by religious influence one of which we were for many years and I see a shift now and what I call expanded consciousness our movie and I'm leaving this afternoon to fly to Los Angeles - we're invited to an event that celebrates Debbie Allen and her sister phylicia rashad whose daughter condole applied Gina in the movie and it's it's a huge now we're actually VIP guests of Wallis Annenberg who heads up the multi-billion dollar Annenberg Foundation supports education and environment in arts and we get to go and go Addison's gonna sing and denzel's gonna be there in Shonda Rhimes and Commons coming and Halle Berry is gonna be there that's beside the point that actually it is the point now and I ain't talking about the server's over there but my but my wife Gina will be with me so anyway but we're now getting to meet a whole new group of people who are interested in our story interested in our message there is a global shift in religious sensibilities you talk about justice and that's our theme here is it justice or just us who really enjoys fairness you may not feel like your life is fair but that doesn't mean you can't be fair life isn't always fair it's that when I say fair me is it isn't always properly balanced or adequately filled it's not always Ferenc how are you faring or experienced right or accurately I don't like to use right as much I like to use the word accurate or accurate correct upright erect all those has to do with with perpendicular stability that you are that are you that you are balanced in yourself balanced in your soul balanced in your spirit balanced in the way you think and you have to get on the the weight every once in a while to see that on the scale to see what if your thinking is balanced I get off we all have chemical imbalances we all have multiple personalities we all deal with different different aspects of paranoia we all deal with the disease and the tensions and the anxieties of being in these human incarnations or incarceration our bodies we're not just human beings looking for spiritual experiences we are spirit having an earthly encounter your soul is homesick for your essence you may not always realize that you have a your soul and your cells have a memory and your cells and your souls reclaim and recall and reconnect with an original idea that spawned or sponsored your existence on this planet you're not a victim of circumstances or of destiny you help create the reality than your experience I say it that way so you can stop giving all your power away to outside sources and forces putting the blame on something else either God or a devil gods and devils don't do that much we do everything we create our own homes and hearts and healings and we are in our divinity connected to our humanity a wonderful harmonious synchronization of spirit and mind and body we really can work this out it's taken me six decades to come to the conclusion though some may think it's premature that I have more power than I thought and I'm not leaning on some other source that often fails me we now are empowered and enabled and in encumbered if you will we it is incumbent upon us to make things better not just make a difference in the world but to make the world different come Monday come Sunday is the movie come Monday is the movement a movement away from traded down old ideologies and suppositions that no longer work for us I had to come to the conclusion there's stuff baggage or luggage I've logged along for 60-some years and it was okay when I had about some of those bags I haven't even opened in a while the storage business has become a multi business a billion dollar industry in the last 20 years because people store so much stuff when you've had something in storage for 30 years and you paying monthly that mean you don't need it give it away or sell it it's just that you don't even know what all that stuff is my sweet older mother is living with me now and she keeps everything I mean if you go to the store and buy it some chicken she'll wash the the little thing it comes in in the dishwasher she gets meals on wheels that she doesn't even take the container I got so much sister mom you got you have to get baby please now I don't even just tell her I just throw it away it's just so much stuff now I keep telling mom you're your 88 and you're six kids are all grown you have grandkids you're not trying to feed six kids anymore in fact I'm trying to feed you you you her her father my grandfather was when he was when he was old he used to asked us for I was in his 80s when he transitioned but he would say he came to me one day and he said son go around here he handed me someone he said go around the corner there get with some shucks kandi eyes excuse me go down the street that started get with some suck candy I said what it shucks kandi kandi does you can start [Applause] I made that I said I said now grandpa you don't need all that sugar we don't want you eating all that sugar and all that stuff in your system he said I need it are just shucking it it's how you evaluate what you're doing how you perceive it and I started thinking he's 80 he's 80-something let him have the eating we'll be here that long you know if it ain't killed him by nowaday you'll kill him have all and I started giving him all the candy he wanted and he was sucking it big old engine you could hear him sucking it down mile away dough that was that was grandpa's justice that was fairness for him that was not equal but it was fair for grandpa considering the circumstances of his life and where he was in life in that life and he quietly died over here in Hillcrest I kissed him the last time I told I had to leave town and he he said he when I was on my well he leaned up said give him all my best and I knew then that was a little sign and I was out I was actually preaching in a prison way out in California when I got the call that that grandpa had transitioned I was so glad I gave him that last piece of struck candy he didn't want much more the word fair means basically it comes from an old English word yeah but it means pleasing or attractive or beautiful if I ask you what pleasures you what pleases you what's attractive to you what comforts you mold the most what would that be fairness might be that I'm not talking about specifics but in general it's it's better to be that because the opposite of fair in my opinion would be foul something that's bitter it doesn't taste sir smell fresh sometimes right at this stage of my life its traditional religion it doesn't it doesn't seem fair even a God who only sends a few perfect Christians to heaven and all the billions of people to hell and leaves them there forever I've wrestled with that most of my life and I still feel like it's important for me to say maybe we got confused on what God really is and how can a God whose mercy endures forever if you believe that I also have hell and torment that's not just punishment that's hatred or we're dealing with a monster that that is so angry and jealous and vengeful that you're scared of him that's what I think creates a massive psychosis on this planet people are afraid of the shubik witness invisible all-knowing all-powerful entity that has an opinion about you be alright if that God was that way it didn't think about me but but if he has an opinion a judgemental opinion of me and that he can not only kill me but torture me infinitely I can understand hell if it was remedial or punitive or a purgative or or corrective in some but just to let people billions of people burn forever is ludicrous how do we get to the place as a culture that we accepted that image that has us in very serious trouble as a species because most of the major faiths have this idea of a God who has a place to cast away most and even us in a very strict whole in its background we were always afraid and we heard this from y'all remember these terms that we go over he don't let him catch it with your work undone well your work was never done I went to us I remember the first time I went to the theater it's called the Bay Theatre in San Diego and yet it took a quarter to get in I didn't have a quarter but my brother did and my brother can find a way to cheat if it's a way to break a law he gonna break it how he got me in I do not know not only did he get me in he somehow got behind the glass counter and stole some sugar babies and sugar daddies and you know candy my brother he's a he's a serial he's at the house too he just was like my brother was anointed to steal and I'm no needle I'd have pointed to get me in trouble but we were in that I remember thinking the whole time jesus is coming back while I'm here I was trembling my parents didn't know it but I knew God knew we were in a theater we weren't supposed to go to theaters we weren't supposed to go to football games or baseball games or play sports or even play marbles because the bar I was there Marvel not so we with some of you looking like are you kidding me no I'm not this is the way we lift so we grew up around this and we didn't know what justice were they said with gods are just guarding will not wink at sin he's got to have it so he's got to have his son tormented Mel Gibson star we you know we needed that to protect us the blood transaction and the blood the blood sacrifice for life is something that Christianity isn't the first to star goes way back to other pagan religions that believe in a God that demanded blood sacrifices and blood transactions I'm saying something that is against at least 2,000 years of entrenched indoctrination but to me that's not justice is there another way that we could look at life in these next coming years and create a different kind of planetary experience we are a generation who can do it because our kids are not interested they're not buying it we grew up around sons do everybody with the Sundays go everybody with the Church Baptist men we all went to church on Sundays our parents and grandparents and godparents it was just so common we're dealing with a generation that looks at that Apple they're eating the tree of knowledge of good and evil they know something that we don't know I've done ate that one too I guess because I've got this I got the Apple phone the iPad this thing and I'm looking into the iCloud all of us are into the mist they're calling these smartphones and smart homes and Smart TVs and they need to make some dumb one for people like us I they gotta like me I mean they got all this smart stuff I thought I don't know why do they call it smart this world is filled with knowledge and when I said earlier that some information about to occur on the planet in this age of the information Highway when people in seconds you can mention somebody's name I don't know how to do but my daughter does it Julianne does and all these kids know how to just find out you you can go up in a satellite and somebody right now you can take your cell phone and look at your house or my house if you know where the address is there are people watching us live in other countries every time we go on live India Africa Asia all around the world we get emails and and they're telling us telling me that the this this movie come Sunday is is tracking most popular in Brazil and spanish-speaking countries that lean toward Roman Catholicism because the Pope recently said there there was no hell the Pope said it and he's in the Vatican they call them to Pope and he called me to poop because I said it I said it where the Pope without my robes on and all but there is that there's a global shift in religious sensibilities and when you talk about justice and fairness we're creating that but as long as you have an image in your mind that your God is angry enough ventolin of judgemental enough to torture billions of people infinitely I know I've preached it under the anointing I've preached it after fasting and praying I president seen the altars packed in this country and around the world and I did it with sincerity but deep down in my soul I knew that was inaccurate I knew I was had more faith in fear than in God I felt awkward in and an injurious and that I was giving half-truths or inaccurate stories I knew it in my cells I knew it in my soul but I couldn't stop then I got to a place where I just couldn't continue about 15 years ago and I'm I feel like this is the reason I'm still alive because you you little know that right in the middle of this shift that we went through with our life just before you all sent us an offering right after I just mentioned this the week the last week of our major Azusa I learned that week that I had cancer and it was serious enough for the doctor to call me at home and people were saying Bishop Pierson is leading millions of people to hell and I said after I hung the phone up from talking to the doctor if I am I welcome death if this is your way of killing me God because I'm that off I accept the death because I wouldn't want to make one cause one person to go to hell I'd rather die the most premature a painful violent death than to lead one I've said that for years and years so I thought maybe that was gonna be I was 50 years old my grandmother died at 53 with cancer we've always had that in mind I said I'll probably gone in three years I went through some hell some hurt and then I said if this is not gonna kill me if you let me live God then this cancer has come to teach me in fact I'm not gonna call it cancer anymore Donna's call it my teacher I spoke to the thing I said listen I don't know why you came I ain't sure because I've been very successful with praying for people who had cancer I had a vendetta a personal vendetta I was 10 years old my grandmother died and I had a personal inventor a vendetta with cancer and when I pray for people that had cancer I had more success with that particular helping faith become alive with people around the world I was known for that laying hands on people don't know I did it with the oil now it has invaded me I'm insulted I'm I'm startled I'm humiliated nice my spiritual ego is deflated but I said listen I don't know why you came here but I'm not gonna let you be my enemy I'm gonna give you a name and I'm gonna call you teacher and you didn't teach me humility or patience or graciousness or compact whatever you need to teach me teach it I'll be a good student teach quickly and get the hell out going down the road I did and I learned a lot I ended up here I get to be invited tonight where I'm going I have met all these new people I'm having so I remember Michael J Fox flew down who spent two days with me and I said what did you come for Michael you could have said somebody he said I wanted to see personally I said why he said I read your story I said in my my my garage in Connecticut he in and I listened to the This American Life interview and I said well let me just tell you I have always loved you my favorite movie that you've done that I've seen of you is Doc Holliday and he said you know so many people have told me that but he said I barely remembered I said he said at that time I was I just got married my wife was pretty I was making more money my career was bursting wide open and that's when I got Parkinson's disease so I didn't get to enjoy he is that I learned I had Parkinson's he said I didn't ask for Parkinson's disease I didn't volunteer for that it came to me I didn't call I didn't want Parkinson's Parkinson's one at me he said but you bishop you you you walked away from from everything you had you gave up everything you had courage and you and I let him talk when he finished I said mom with all due respect sir I didn't walk away from from from what I had I didn't know what I was walking away from I only knew what I was interested what I was walking to I wasn't paying attention to what what I was walking away from I didn't really realize I was by the time I did I looked back at what I used to have and do and be was way behind me it was a calling it was a coating it was a summons I didn't just do it because I had courage and I know people are very kind they say you had so much courage no I had a calling I had this this this nerd in my soul in my spirit I couldn't I couldn't resist it I didn't really realize that I was walking away from so much I didn't think that we're all I thought what I had was following me that was back when I was a leader but I'm not making everything that happened was supposed to have it exactly the way it happened I'm 65 years old and I really believe that all things do work in some orc orchestrated concert to create the music that we make in the earth we're all a part of a symposium we're all a part of a symphony agreement is the Greek word simple NATO it doesn't mean it sound the same it doesn't even mean the sound alike it just means to sound together and that's what we're doing that's the new music Sunday is a bright day Monday comes from moon day it's the moon that's the night light everybody likes to get together on Sunday it's bright and we we play in interact and eat but on Monday we got to go back to work get back in the saddle the light is not always as clear on Monday moon is the night light don't expect to see s clearly when the moon is out you're not supposed to so don't freak out when you don't have specificity enjoy the moon Sun comes back in the morning so the real movement for me is on Monday when we deal with where the rubber really meets the road when we deal with the unfairness and the inequities or the the the disintegration of the culture and the things that we have to experience it Express and exposed to that's when I need a different kind of courage courage or Carter he comes from the heart when will we say we are on one Accord it means one not kardia one heart our hearts are beating together I'm feeling a kind of unity that the culture itself said would never work my religion said that I had to come here out from among them and be ye separate and and that I should not love the world neither the things of the world for friendship with the world is hatred with God yet the same scripture said for God so loved the world go ye into all the world well how can I go ye into all the world and not love him so I was confused and so were you and that's why you hear them so we're trying to work this thing out and it's beginning to work was standing down on our property yesterday and and the Sun was warm it was the afternoon and and and I we felt I felt a connectedness to Tulsa the word from its mo from its Muscogee Creek origin Tulsa means the Gathering Place that's why they named it that over there this is a gathering place I think we're going to be part of the invitation for people to return to this city or to come and gather with a different folks in why didn't I stay in Chicago why don't I move to New York why don't I go to LA I came back to Tulsa tumbleweed tells us know how I love this place there's something here there's a vortex of energy Tulsa is a powerful you talk about the oil and the energy and and and and and the the part of this city that reaches out to the world we have one of the most commanding figures in the kaisers in this town that the kinds of things that we're doing in this city when I ran for mayor on with all the stuff they're doing on that I had it in my mind 20 years ago y'all missed it I'm ready to see something shift turn to somebody and say shift happens you go ahead and set and get your shift together I'll help you get your shift that's what we want to do here if we want to help you get the shifting you're not in trouble you're in transition turn to somebody so you're not in trouble you're in transition we're not in trouble we're in transit this is going to work for us give somebody a high five and say you got this you got it all my god you know one of the things that Michael J said I said well why are you he said weed he said I've been watching you or we watch you televangelist they they tell us in our art in our acting classes to watch you guys I said what did he tell you did they tell you to send them some money yeah he said we like your energy we like your command of the language into the pulpit I said really he said yeah he said in fact I thought I was an Episcopalian he's married to a beautiful Jewish girl he's a lady he said I I think maybe sometimes I was called to I was supposed to preach I said I said Michael you have raised over 400 million dollars at that time way more than that for research on Parkinson's that's the disease that Billy Graham died having and I was with him when he was shaky and I brought up Michael and I said you're helping so many people he's now getting more active he's finding his place it didn't seem just but it was really his fair portion to contribute all of us have a fair portion to continue you're important you're powerful you have a magnetism and an amazing magic about every single solitary one of you I know it's been painful and pitiful at times I know this disease that is terminal and incurable can be treated turn to somebody
