Life In The PI - Our Temporary Home In Valencia

all right we're here at the new uh apartment we're renting and I thought I'd share it with you I mean technically it's a house but there are two of them let me flip so the first one's not ours and the second one's ours and you come up here I just see if I [Music] can pretty cool the neighbor's house is pretty cool too um I love the architecture here it's all so different in the Philippines but how cool is this like I'll show you the back first I'll show you the least you know I'll show you the um where you kind of let clothes dry and whatnot you can park your vehicle under here if you want to plenty of room for parking but here's what we'll let clothes dry if we're do our own washing and this is probably the most inefficient way I could have toured this house but so this is brand new and it's uh 25,000 pesos a month which is about 500 so actually less than 500 a month maybe 475 or something but how cool is this and here's the outdoor kitchen we'll have some tables and chairs out here it's uh mostly furnished so it has inverter type AC on there this is or can do her this is called a dirty kitchen so when she cooks her smelly fish and whatnot uh she can cook it out here and I just I love the indoor outdoor right I think that is so cool and right now everything's locked up or I would take you through this door right here we met the neighbors they're super super super cool um and this is like a little compound all the houses around here are being built by Germans um it's like a it's like a German community if you will which is cool because I get to brush up on my German I've been speaking way more German I've been speaking German every day in the US I could go a year or two without seeing someone I could speak German with so uh that's I like that that I get to practice my German hold on I'm trying to find my key again this is the least efficient video I could have shown you got to take your shoes off of course it's mandatory in the Philippines but let's do a tour here all the lights are out yeah and he just finished this apartment it's a German guy so the TV still has be mounted I'll mount it I told him I'd take care of it uh the internet here is smoking $30 a month and we got 100 usually so $30 a month and the downloads are over it's right at 500 megabit down and over a 100 megabit up right $30 a month fiber fiber to the house um so it's two bedroom one bath and of course this can open sorry about being so dark we didn't I didn't come in here ahead of time and open everything up super nice I love it right there's the I did the water heaters here they typically don't heat the whole house they just heat um and then they just heat whatever you're trying to heat like you they have they have heaters for the shower so lots of storage in here right you don't typically find that in the bathroom I like I like how he did that same um so it comes to everything we need like these Keys Dad I think the water here is like 100 pesos a month which is like $2 for water and again electricity in um in Valencia they have their own thermal power station which is from what I understand some of the cheapest electricity in the Philippines so plenty of room for the three of us brand new I love this architecture I love this little small house everything about it is low maintenance and uh it's like 475 a month you know um and water is practically free so our only expense expenses on top of rent will be um electricity and internet and we'll stay here for about four months while we're having our house built so cats out of the bag [Music] now all right so this will get this will get Cozier we have we already have a lot stuff to bring into it we I'll try to bring some updated videos and until next time stay posted
