First time I heard her was around Christmas on NPR. Forgot to look up her name but loved her voice and music so much. Months and months went by before they replayed the same show and I pulled over and immediately searched for her. She's awesome.
(And yes I know they have a broadcast list of their shows but didn't at the time)
She's really talented but I think she's made some big mistakes in her career. If you've seen her live she has one of the most talented backing bands I've ever seen. For some reason, she saw it fit to have her basically do all the vocal tracks on her first album. They sounded so much more polished and full live.
She's got an amazing voice.
If you want to hear how good Lianne's live band than check out this concert!. Au Cinema flows so well with full backing vocals
Effortlessly brilliant. Every time I see her perform it feels like she is channelling the same power that Jeff Buckley did.
I'm off to see her in December for the third time, fantastic voice and guitar playing, also and excellent band. I particularly enjoyed them covering Weird Fishes live!
I'm officially into her music. Thanks!
I fell in love with her music after watching her Take Away shows
