They're like the professional version of your friends from high school who just wanna play classic style jazz funk, aka awesome
I think highly of them. Seen them in the northeast US many times. Lettuce is a veritable super group of astute funksmen.
Super funky, but can get a little too jammy at times. Still worth checking out live if you don't mind the stanky hippies in the crowd.
"Fly" is one of the albums that plays at my watering hole when a certain bartender works. Rich plays all the funk on Wednesdays. I've asked for the playlist but it's on his 128gb IPod classic. His dreads are older then me.
It's also one of the albums I can listen to at work! Stellar tunes.
