Let's make Smartwatch ESP32

hi i'm still playing with this round display in my last video i showed you how to use this display and esp 32 board i received many nice comments thank you very much and few people commented that this is great display for smart watch project yes it is and here is my simple example i'm using only few modules um this real time clock module ds 3231 this display of course and esp32 right now it can show uh only time date and day they weak so it is not really smart but i can also add accelerometer to count steps connect it to wi-fi or communicate with cell phone using bluetooth to make it smarter project is on breadboard but it would be nice to make custom pcb and 3d printed case for it this video is sponsored by pcb way on a pcb way you can order your pcbs but you can also print your 3d designs for a few dollars i i already made one smart watch few years ago and i used pcb way to order these pcbs this watch is really smart it have these leds and i can set brightness just kidding of course this is a toy i used to practice soldering with young kids in school they love it this thing looks like some cool gadget for special agents to them pcb way has the fastest service and quality is great all links are in description so feel free to check them out and in the description you will also find code for this my code is always free and you can use it modify it and make it better if you are new to my channel don't forget to subscribe because if you subscribe you can win this awesome dumb not watch what i love the most is uh how this watch looks design is made from few simple lines and rectangles you notice that i love a movement so there is moving gauge for seconds moving day of week right now it's monday here in croatia and this dot which is moving in opposite side just to give you headache and to feel update speed of this is of this display there is no flickering because i use sprites so whole display is uh one large sprite 240 by 240 in my last video you can find link in description i showed you how to use and set up this display to use with uh esp32 and this real-time clock is even simpler to connect only few pins four so we have ground vcc serial data and serial clock so i square c pins serial data pin is pin 21 on esp32 and serial clock is pin 22. uh real-time clock modules you usually have a battery battery is used to make internal clock running so you will never lose your time if device is turned off uh and of course you will also need this library you can find library link in description if you don't want to buy new display you can also use this standard 240 by 240 tft display also you can check my internet clock project for tft displays this one also looks great links are in description if you found my videos helpful please subscribe and if you want to help me run this channel you can buy me a coffee link is in description many thanks to my supporters and and that's it for this week don't be late use your skills to make watch to impress your guests or i don't know to have fun you
